Their rude ,they close for an hr every day.don’t replenish the food in a timely fashion.u can tell because of all the full uboats sitting around.they in there doing each other hair,playing with their phone while checking u out.this by far is the worst dg I’ve been in.why people are giving them 5stars is baffling..the employees are minus 6 themselves

Not sure why others posted about neat/clean store. Must be confused because this is hands down a complete embarrassing mess of a store. I have never seen something so terrible. Armed gaurd at the front door was also ridiculous. If the need is there fine. But not standing at the front door. I should habe taken pictures. I popped in because I was close and needed a few things. Almost before I left wished I'd kept driving. Horrible atmosphere

This has to be one of the biggest Dollar Generals I've walked into. Staff was friendly and helpful. Much of it is very clean but the discount aisle looked like a tornado hit it. Not so much the staffs fault, but yo...Deals are great. And with so much more product, it's easier to find what you are looking for here than you can at WalMart or other big stores!I'm only deducting a star because no matter when I stop in here, there is always some shady dude standing around outside being a creeper.

This store always seems very messy and cluttered with merchandise thrown on the floor etc. It also seems to attract a very rough and urban crowd and although you always see security, you don't see many people working the floor or check out stands.With that said they seem to carry what all dollar generals carry at the same great prices, so lock your car, set your alarm, get in and get out.

They are very polite & kind. All of the staff are helpful. This store is a big crowded but that don't bother me. Just means more stuff to shop for lol. This dollar general has become my new walmart!! I can get all my MONTHLY household needs for 60$ bucks! Get the dollar general app and get them discounts!! Almost everything I buy has a coupon. 50cents to 100 or more off. My laundry detergent has 5.00 off.

I went to Dollar general to buy cokes because Coke salesman told me that Cokes would be on good sale this week. I had left all of my usual cards at home and didn't realize it until I got ready to pay. I couldn't find cash which was in my purse. Two credit cards in wallet we're declined. I don't know why unless lack of use. By this time, I was embarrassed. The cashier was great. I ended up writing a check. I usually carry both my credit card and debit card in my pocket. I was so embarrassed 2 credit cards we're declined but couldn't tell you last time I used them.Cashier was so patient with me. No dirty looks. Had no problem with me writing a check. I got home and found I had left everything I usually keep in pocket in a bowl.So proud of Cash for treating me with so much respect. My check won't bounce unless account is hacked tonight but pretty sure won't happen since ever was at home.

Terrible customer services specially last time I was there, we were three customers waiting in line for the cashier to attend us, we were standing there for more than a minute looking around to see if someone was coming to assist us, I asked my wife if there was a bell to tap on to get someone attention and that's when we heard a female voice saying I am opening now and when I looked over the counter there was a woman sitting and on her phone texting, she made us wait few seconds for her to finish using her phone, when she was scanning the items she was grabbing it with an attitude, our bread was all smoshed due to the way she put them in the bag. No one should have to deal with that type of service bad day understand but your job is customer service.

I first rated this store a 5 star years ago now I'm rating it a 1 star. This store use to be a 5 star store but it has gone down hill. It is extremely dirty and nasty. I will not be going here anymore because of the uncleanliness of the store. It's sad. They use to be so clean and nice now the store is disgusting. The neighborhood needs this store in it's location but it has lately been a let down.

Sometimes it seems like there is no order of products here. The disposable plates I was looking for were in three different aisles. I get the specialty plates are separate sections but 3 different aisles is ridiculous

Love this store always find what I need plus only dollar store I know that sells hearing aid batteries within walking distance from my home. Have a isle full of stuff for just 1 dollar. Staff is awesome and friendly

On Oct 3,2020 I went inside the Dollar General location of 1310 Springhill Ave cashier on register 3 black female Anita checked me out. The following list is the items the I bought : (1) Rexall pregnancy test, a gallon of Oxy clothes detergent, a clear clothing tub along with the clear three draw stand, a four pack of light bulbs, a two pack glade warmer along with the 5 pack glade warmers replacements, I bought antibiotics and a Mr. Clean swifter mop the total was 1357.When Anita was done ringing me up She asked if I would like to put my receipt in the bag I said yes. I placed my lager items in the basket and carried one out. My mother also purchased some items so we put all the belongings in the same basket. When I returned home from the store I noticed my items were missing. The store was already closed so I had the mindset to return in the morning of Oct 4 to get my items. When I returned Anita was not at work and the cashier advised he was not aware of any items from the previous day. So the on duty manager advised Anita said the only thing I left was a pregnancy test and light bulbs, mind you I could see some of my items sitting in the return basket inside the store and was still told basically no of my stuff existed. The managers had such nasty attitudes and was not willing to even work with me. I even showed them on my regions app what was bought with my card and they still acted as if I decided to walk up to that store to receive some items for free. I had the rebuy the pregnancy test they even said I left.This was so unacceptable for people spending silica large amount of money at this location.

There is always stock in the ailes. It's the most unorganized store I've been into yet. The employees are not friendly at all. This part of town is very busy with two big hospital's and being downtown they really should rethink the store's congestion and sour atmosphere.

Slow cashiers that constantly will stop with your purchase transaction in order to take personal phone calls on their various cellphones, gossip & or curse during their calls,and then eventually finish ringing you up. They also have a very bad problem with counting change as one cashier will give me back too much while two other cashiers will try to undercut what is owed back to the customer.
