I visited this store on 10/20/23 @ 8pm for the 1st time and as I walked around and shopped exploring the new store I picked up more items then expected I went to the front to get a shopping cart and proceeded finish my shopping as I waited in line to get checked out a worker went to the front of the store and locked it and told me that I wasn't leaving until the police came I asked for what she said that I was with some women that was stealing and she had seen me multiple of times stealing and she had me on camera and I proceeded to tell her that I came in the store alone and that that was my first time in there so there's no way she got me on camera she called the police 4 car loads of trucks came up there and when the police officer came in fast forward they reviewed the recording and sent another officer to tell me that I could go the lady that falsely accused me of stealing and held me against my will should be held accountable I will never go into another dollar general again n I will be taking further action

They put a sign on the door saying closed. I can’t count how many times they do this for literally no reason at all to be closed. This is a weekly thing at this location.

The front door is broken. They have Christmas items and wont mark them down. Nor take them off the shelf. They are all at the end of one isle . store appears to be clean. Only one cashier working every time I've been there.Always very nice. Just fix the front door and stop asking full price for old things.Mark it down or take it off the shelf. Other than these two issues. I love shopping there. It's very convenient to my home.

I really like the prices, however there is so much stock piled in boxes in the aisles they are hard to get down. They always seem to be short handed, there are many bare and unstocked shelves. I don't go there as much as I used to because of the clutter. That's is sad, because they have a lot to offer.

Not very clean. A fan blowing full blast hits you in the fave when you walk in the door. Very crowded and small. Boxes were sitting in the aisles. The staff smokes outside the door which is probably why the fan is sitting there but you can't help but get the smoke smell on you just trying to walk in.

The employees are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Be careful about driving at night down three notch rd because their are 2 minor children that ride their four wheelers to the DG without helmets or headlights.

Having been a store manager for Walmart for several years I am quite surprised that Dollar General is able to operate with empty shelves and carts full of unstocked merchandise blocking most aisles. When I was managing a Supercenter if there was one end cap or shelf space empty I would be threatened with my job by the market manager in our area so I am not sure how the store manager of this Dollar General is employed. I know it is not an easy job and I am quite sure that they are understaffed the problem is probably much further reaching than just the store manager so in summary I will say this was a really bad Dollar General with very little merchandise to sell.

Dirty store stuff everywhere poorly managed the cashier was busy doing her best but the wait was horrible plus the cashier had very long nails pretty but not ment for work an it was slowing her down you could obviously tell an she was all alone an there were too many people in line for her not to have any help like that I felt bad for her

Good customer service, but ya'll need to do something about the air conditioner's in your store's!! The last three Dollar General were hot and only one of them had industrial fan; the other two didn't have any fans going in the store's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The store at halls mill and government is a great place to shop...the manager is Mrs brandy she great it's my first stop in morning. And the store is nice and clean.

The associates at this store are friendly and helpful. Sometimes The I store is very busy so you may have to wait in line for about 8 minutes or so. The customer service is good though.

Not the first choice for a dollar store, but if here they probably have what you're looking for , most prices are comparable to other stores but if want to spend $1 recommend dollar tree

Very busy store. I have had to stand in a line of four or more people every time I have been here. They have never opened another line. There is usually only one employee in the front of the store.

The AC doesn't work in here half the time & the store isn't as big as most of the other store so they can't stock all the products as all the other store! I know bc I worked here! FACT!!

Closed at 12:30 in the afternoon. They SAY the ac is out but there were people coming out. They just wouldn't let us in.

The only downfall to this location was that when busy, the staff seemed more in tune to joke and forget what they were doing than seeing to customers having a decent check out experience or being helped properly.

The cashier was at one register and closed that register and open another and let 2 ppl go on f4ont of me and she was rude and bagged my stuff wrong just slung it in bags I will not b back at that one

The bathroom was utterly disgusting at this location. Made me want to not ever touch this store again. If you all can't keep your bathroom clean enough, it shows you probably don't care about a lot of other things. Gross!
