I love the fresh veggies and fruit. I buy the chicken salad every time. I wish they had less Home Goods and more brand choices. They need to keep a cashier up front. Someone with a full basket should not have to use self-checkout.I'm shopping here now because they are the cheapest, but it is an adjustment to let go some of your favorite brands. But still - that chicken salad!

I go to Aldi at least twice a week! Inexpensive and great quality. My friend and I do pizza night almost every week with the super large supreme pizza for $8 and two bottles of Winking Owl Merlot for $7! I love the chocolate and cheese sections plus the home goods and gift section. Always something cute and new. I really appreciate the foods they sell from other countries. Obsessed!

My favorite grocery. Freshest produce meats cheeses. Bring your own bags. Not a problem. Quarter to return your cart. Or a tip for others to do it for you. Can't beat the prices. And always find a something new to try. My go too grocery!

This is a beautiful location. New and everything stocked perfectly. At checkout there were no check out attendants ANY where on a Monday about 12:30 or so. An elderly woman was attempting to check out with eggs and tomatoes. She had no idea how to do it. There was no one to help her. I was beside her & scanned her items and then she wanted to pay by cash. Yikes, now what? It didn’t accept cash. She is pulling out a $20. Luckily she had a gift card visa and we got that to work. My point is, where were the employees??🤔🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

I'm glad Aldi opened here. I used to shop at Aldi in Florida. They have such good produce. I was so glad they had berries from Wish Farms in Plant City Florida since that is a wonderful farm with fabulous berries. The store has good to go items and regular grocery items. I liked their chocolates cookies with Reese's pieces. It will be nice when they have good wine called Winking Owl brand like they did in Florida. Remember to bring a bag to take your items home.

Mostly house brands with minimal options. Makes shopping easier and simplified. Bring your own bag to bag your groceries and a quarter for your buggy.Crowded, but new. Everyone was either familiar with the process or picked it up quickly. Very friendly associates.

This is a smaller grocery store, but they have a great variety of items! The prices are budget friendly. Their products are high quality. The produce that I've bought has been excellent! I only hope they make a cashier available for the elderly customers. I'm ok with the self check-out. However,other patrons struggle to use those & bag items all by themselves. The employees (stocking merchandise) are helpful throughout the store, but it would be good to have a designated person up front. I enjoy shopping here. I just want the older folks to have a less stressful experience buying their items in the store.

Good grocery store overall. Friendly employees. The pay for a bag thing is a newer concept for the area, but the paper ones are cheap and durable. You can also bring your own. I just think it's a bit overrated, but that's my personal opinion. I'm not super close to it & it's not a place I'd go out of my way to stop at. Would maybe come back just if I'm around. But to each its own, I still liked it.

I love ALDI but I do not like self checkouts. This particular one looks like it needs more employees to stock. The people there were doing the best they could but I only saw two people working.

The staff on the floor is very friendly and helpful. Every cashier has been quite the opposite. Retraining needs to happen before the other stores open in our area.The store is organized and clean, and I like the house brands. Check out is awful! They do not bag your groceries which is fine… however, cashiers literally throw everything in your cart (they throw canned goods on top of produce).You can’t bag your groceries at the register. There is a counter for you to organize and bag your groceries after you have paid in the front of the store.This process would be hard for anyone with mobility issues.

Well I grew up on Aldi so I was excited to experience it again here in Alabama. I was blown away. They've come so far. Their choices of foods are of good quality and taste. They're produce has been better than other stores around town. They have cheeses that you'd expect from a high end place with prices on the low end. They have big meats like turkeys and hams. I am impressed with their food selections. They also have household items, soaps, and paper goods. AND THE BEST PART.... PRICE PRICE PRICE!! Times are hard right now at some point for everyone and Aldi has the grocery help you need! The people working there are pleasant also. Yes they charge for paper bags, they do not offer plastic, they sell reusable with insulation and without. Not offering plastic and charging change for paper is one way they keep cost down and stay environment friendly. Yes it is a quarter for a cart, but you're only renting it. When you return the cart the quarter pops back out for you. This is a deterrent for cart stealing( Aldi is from big city) and keeps cost and rift raft down. I have never used the restroom here so I don't know it cleanliness. This store is a win win in my book.

I really enjoy the new Aldi stores for a quick trip grocery. They have a limited selection so getting in and out is quick. I am not distracted by all the things I don't need like I would be at Walmart. The prices have been really great so far. The bring your own bag thing is taking a little getting used to. I normally don't buy more than I can carry because of that. Oh and who carries a quarter for a buggy. I haven't carried change in 20 years. Other than those two things everything else is a huge plus. I like the small size and the selection of fresh foods. I don't care much about big name brands or boxed / bagged frozen foods so I am very happy here. Cool place for a quick trip to the store.

I had an amazing experience today. It’s the day after the grand opening. And it was still pretty crowded but that’s to be expected. Even still the cashiers moved fast and the stockers were working hard to keep the shelves stocked. The prices are highly competitive with Walmart, target and any other grocer around. It was neat, clean, and very attractive. I love the way they operate their baskets and that it accommodates two children. I hope they open another one (preferably bigger) soon.

Store is great, except they need to stop timing the items per minute. We did not have a cart nor the customer behind us. We could not even finish bagging our food and the cashier was putting in the other customers items. All we needed was 30 seconds to finish, instead of mixing the two orders together. Or...go get a cart.

I love the selection they have. The prices are great. The only complaint I have is that so far the cashiers cannot put the groceries in the cart without tossing them. They don't care if they bruise your fruits and veggies. I have been here four times and its the same every time.

If you're looking for an excellent shopping experience, go to ALDI! The prices and selection can't be beat (especially if you love German products). I especially adore their cheese varieties, as well as the weekly finds that are constantly changing. My only realy complaint is if you can't find something (which is rare), there aren't really any employees on the sales floor to help. Other than that, everything amazing. ALDI is wunderbar!

we find Aldi a welcome shopping experience , the stores are all clean. well stocked, ample very reasonably priced quality store brands, great produce, meats and cheeses again at great prices. finally the Aldi Aisle of Shame always produces a wonderfully priced surprise item.

Went to the grand opening, so I'm not surprised that the store was overly crowded and a bit picked over. However, it was a great experience. The employees were friendly, fast, and courteous. The prices definitely compete with surrounding grocery stores. I will 100% be revisiting this store in the near future.

FINALLY an Aldi! I've heard a lot from friends elsewhere and I love it already. Didn't go for the grand opening but the place was still packed when I did. There's lots of merch (home and garden mostly) and the grocery prices are basically unbeatable. Quality is great, too, considering how many of these seem to be in-store brands? Name brands are more expensive than other places but this might be my new favorite place to shop.

Nice store but you can only get certain things so you would still have to shop elsewhere for other ingredients. I love their produce and bread selection. Prices are really good. You need to bring your own bags for groceries.

Love it! The Aldi brand is really really good! Everything we have bought has been great. The produce is excellent and price is lower than every other grocery store. The have limited items but what they have is wonderful! So glad our town finally got one!

Meat, produce, and bakery items are good and the price is also good. Dry goods are poor quality. The automated self check is unbelievably bad. Whoever did the programming should be fired.

Been a fan of, and shopping at Aldi locations all over, and when this one opened up I actually went to the grand opening. Seems everyone was excited for this! Great selection & very clean (obviously, it's new). A must for cheeses, produce, & dairy. Seriously, buy their butter & cheese if nothing else! FYI, plenty of their prices are better than Walmart's.

I am so glad they brought this store to Mobile. It's convenient and prices are wonderful. You can find chicken in here without having to apply for a loan to afford them. They have anything the bigger store have as well. Just remember to bring your own bags and a quarter for the buggie rental. (You get your quarter back in the end). 😊

WTH? good prices and fresh produce, but having to bag your own groceries AND have to pay per bag?? Checkout girl was rude and lazy, no willingness to help explain things. The only reason I give a second star is that the lady we asked where an item was was very helpful and cheery. Will not be a return customer. Go to Winn Dixie instead and save the headache.

I have gone to the new Aldi no less then 8 times since they opened. I absolutely love ALDI. My love for this store began while living in Birmingham years ago and attending college. They have great prices, clean stores, and quality private label food options.
