This Walgreens has the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. After waiting till 10 am to have my Rx filled it was finally ready at 7. I get to the drive through at 7:35 EXACTLY. There were 5 cars in front of me. 25 minutes to get through 5 vehicles seems reasonable right ? No. After sitting in the drive through for 25 minutes with two cars still ahead of me they just shut the window. So I called and after being on hold for 12 minutes the manager comes back and says “ there’s no pharmacist here so we can’t do anything “ I asked “ so when y’all still have cars waiting for prescriptions after we’ve already been waiting almost 30 minutes we have to take the loss because they couldn’t get through FIVE cars in 25 minutes ?” All I got was “ yes they close at 8”. Definitely won’t be using them again.

Worker at the register rolled her eyes & yelled "ughhh" as I was coming in &as for the lady behind the register was nice and let me know they were almost closing I understand they close at 9 and I came in at 8:49 but either way if it's a pharmacy they shouldn't have an attitude and understand that ppl get sick and just like them want to go home instead of stopping for medication when u have someone sick.Edit: not to mention all the workers where just standing there talking afterclosing w no rush to leavea nd the same lady who rolled her eyes has always been rude and racist when I have came in by asking me ti let her help someone white while I been Waiting at the register

Pharmacy needs help less time joking around more time focusing on the task at hand learn to check the phone messages for call-ins on prescriptions had someone call in the morning & again on site (2) times for my prescription & got home & realized when I opened my meds I still didn’t receive what I needed the most for being sick after waiting around for an hour. 1 extra star for forgiveness

Been using this drugstore since I moved to Alabama three years ago, but thinking about pulling everything after today. I sat in the drive-thru for 25 minutes today, and right when I got up to the window someone had pulled the shade down on me. I understand they go to lunch at 1:30, but I had been waiting in line since 1:04 p.m. You can't tell me they didn't see my red Jeep sitting out there in line, plus there was no one behind me. Horrible customer service! My time is just as valuable as yours!

Literally the longest line to pick up prescriptions inside or drive through. Save yourself the headache and go across to Adams Drugs Millbrook. Just took me 45 minutes to pick up a prescription

I was really thankful for the kindness of the people working at the pharmacy. It can be stressful when you run out of meds, but they were really helpful and compassionate.

My prescription has been in a very long time. One is ready but the one that I really need is not. The person said that they on waiting on pharmacist to look it to make sure it is the right one. I live in the country and I am not feeling good. It should not take thos long. My doctor prescribed something so why do they need to look it and see if it is right. I ha e been outside of walgreens for over an hour.

Dealing with Covid pneumonia and was waiting for prescriptions to be filled. My app showed 1 was filled and 1 was in process. Made 4 phone calls on the 12th of January. Was on hold for 40 minutes each time. Each time it would say I was next, the phone would hang up. Finally called the cashiers area, they said the pharmacy decided to close early. Something they could have put on the recording but was to sorry too. The next day, 16 hours later, I was on hold for 40 minutes again. When they finally answered, they hung up in my face before I could get a word out of my mouth. I called back and held for 30 minutes again. They finally answered. When I asked them about my prescription, they said it was in line to be filled. It had been in line for over 24 hours. I told them not to worry, I was moving my prescriptions to CVS. I will never use Walgreens again. Been there for 15-20 years. No more. Very incompetent. I will be calling Corporate next.

Don't know whats happener to their service lately. going through their drivethrough is painstaking. Never a fast experiance. Drivethroughs are for faster service. No need to sit in one for half an hour in a line thats suppose to only be drop off and pick up. How does this happen? Absolutely insane how long it takes.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy you can use. Call them and they say prescription is ready and waiting for you then when you get there after driving 30 miles they say it's not ready, can't be filled, doctor didn't write it right, insurance company won't cover it this time.... Always somebody else's problem. Haven't had a script filled on time or without a problem yet. They won't answer the phone for another pharmacy when I try to transfer my scripts to get better service.

After the poor experience I had with the Prattville Walgreens, I called the Millbrook Walgreens trying to see if they had a class II prescription. Whoever answered the phone was nice. She checked to see if the prescription was available and it was. I also told her I had already been waiting 2 hours at the Prattville Walgreens and she stated that she would make sure that I was marked as waiting for the prescription and it would only be about 20 to 30 minutes. Well then I get to the drive-thru window and the girl was rude then she proceeded to tell me it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait for the medication. Took my prescription and took it to the Wetumpka pharmacy, they were great!!!

Walgreens has always been a good pharmacy. The only thing that I can think of improving is the drive up waiting time. I think another person should help during the afternoon rush hours. So sorry to see Barry leave. He always was there to help any problem, miss him.

I've always preferred Walgreens and the staff here really is top-notch, especially Barry, but ever since RiteAid closed and CVS had their little tussle with BCBS insurance, this location has become SO busy that you can't hardly get in. I just sat on hold for 16 minutes waiting to speak to someone about my prescription and then got hung up on. I can't go after work because the line of cars is all the way across the parking lot starting before 5pm. I don't think anyone in this store is doing anything wrong but it appears that corporate really needs to recognize the influx in business and allow them to staff more people all day long. You used to be able to wait in store for a prescription, but now, even if your rx is something that doesn't even have to be counted, the wait is 2+ hours. It makes me really sad to have to consider another pharmacy.

My prescriptions have not been filled multiple times despite being requested through the app and auto refill. This last time I had a prescription expire before my last fill even though I requested it to be filled through their phone system so the excuse of the “app not working properly” as they told me before couldn’t be the case. I had to go back to the doc and get a new script and then had to come in again and the outside line was all the way to the street per usual and many people in line inside were also aggravated with how long the wait time was. I stood in line over 20 minutes and decided just to leave. I will be taking my business elsewhere and it seemed like half the line was saying the same as well.

Use to be my preferred pharmacy but not anymore, when I dropped my rx off to get filled, even though it was the day it was due, they would keep saying "oh we can't fill it in until this day even though it's due today" and I can't wait longer since it's a rx I need right away. It didn't make sense.

I have severe chronic illnesses - for those in this area, we have local and chain store pharmacies to select from - In short, I've tried both - this Walgreens is the benchmark in personal care and treatment. Pharmacist like "Kay" are the justification for the high standards, she and the staff go above and beyond consistently. Uniformly, the other pharmacist are of the same propensity. I have never used a better pharmacy. God Bless.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It's not per se this store but Walgreens in general, DO NOT PURCHASE WALGREENS GIFT CARDS!!! if something is wrong with the Walgreens gift card you purhase it isn't the stores problem only way to handle is through corporate and they said it would take 3 to 4 days for someone to even contact us about the gift card we paid cash for. Then they have to mail you a new one. Ridiculous!

The Customer Service here is the best. We mainly go here for the Pharmacy and Barry and Kayla are AMAZING. They are always so helpful and caring. The Best Walgreens EVER!!!!

Ever since they took perscriptions from another pharmacy, they are overwhelmed and they haven't hired additional staff to keep up with the increase of customers. I suggest another pharmacy in this area--even Walmart is better.
