The location was great, easy off and on I65. The comman areas were for the most part clean and what we have come to expect. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Small detractions for a very slow drain in the shower and some significant water damage in the closet. The biggest issue was the service. Both the evening and morning front desk attendants were friendly and helped how they could. But the evening gal had her boyfriend sitting in the lobby and kept leaving the desk unattended to sit with him. The morning gal would just disappear into the back office for long stretched and leave people waiting for help.Breakfast was not as good as we have come to expect. There were less options than usual and the waffle mix was watery. The coffee was hot and plentiful though.Rooms: Someone else commented about the light from the bathroom shining right on the beds. This is true, but not that big of a deal The door is opaque glass, so the light does show through into the sleeping area.Food & drinks: As noted, breakfast was so so. The lobby has food items to purchase if that interests you.

What a great value for your money. The only complaint I have is that while the rooms are very modern, the bathroom is placed in front of both beds (which isn’t a bad thing), but in the middle of the night when someone uses the bathroom, the bathroom’s sliding door is a frosted glass and shines light everywhere. That’s my only complaint. I’d recommend this place to anyone!!! One of the best hotels I’ve been to and such a great value. 👍🏽Rooms: Extremely comfortable and huge in size!!Noteworthy details: The lobby is inviting with lots of hang out areas and it smells good.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experience! I show up at 1am to check in after traveling all day for the front desk worker to tell me my reservation had been cancelled and moved to another hotel 25min. away. He then proceeds to blame it on me even though they never attempted to reach out to me to let me know they were transferring my reservation to another hotel. Then to make matters worse I had booked a double queen suite since I have 6 people in my family. The room they transferred me to at the other hotel only accommodated 4. I had to call the new hotel to let them know I was supposed to be in a larger suite which they let me know they don’t have at their property. Then this hotel wouldn’t pay for an additional room even though I paid for a room for 6! I was charged for an additional room so I could accommodate my family. The guy fought with the new hotel and said they wouldn’t pay for the additional room even though this whole situation was their fault! I will be reporting this front desk worker and property to corporate because this is absolutely unacceptable! I would not recommend staying here!

I'm a Marriott fan (currently a Titanium Elite) and I stay more nights than I care to count each year in Marriott properties. I've been in good ones, great ones (see my reviews for the Tel Aviv Marriott), and not so good ones. Unfortunately, this visit we just had falls into that last category. The positives:1. Location - closest property we could find to Wetumpka which is why we were in town.2. Breakfast buffet - it's the typical breakfast buffet in terms of food offerings. What set this one apart is how clean the attendant kept the breakfast area and how well stocked. They were busy but the food serving dishes were kept full and warm. The negatives:1. Lights were out in the stairwells and in our room. We asked the front desk to get our lights fixed as the room was dark and they assured us maintenance would get to it the next day. It didn't happen.2. Fitness facility was in poor condition. They have 3 treadmills and 2 ellipticals along with free weights. When I went down, all 3 treadmills and 1 elliptical were non-working. I rebooted all the devices and 1 of the treadmills came back online which the front desk was quite appreciative of me doing. The other 2 treadmills were throwing off the same error code which I provided to the front desk. The non-working elliptical was just dead in the water. Of the free weights, they were missing a number of the smaller weight sizes. This made it impossible for my wife to get her weight workout in as she can't increase her weights that dramatically to use what they did have.3. Carpet in the stairwell on the north side was pulling away from the steps and bubbling up. This is a trip hazard.4. Our wall mounted air controls did not work. I was preparing to demand a room change and for giggles opened the access door to the ac unit by the window and was able to override the wall controls and get the temperature we wanted. My biggest gripe however is when I checked out this morning, I noted my concerns over the room and didn't get an apology or an acknowledgment. Just an excuse the maintenance guy didn't come in as scheduled. That's not really my problem, I guess, until it was.Book this hotel if you want, just know you may find it does not meet the standards one usually finds at a Marriott property.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The place was nice and clean. The problem was that I left my suit jacket in the closet upon check out, and didn't realize until I was far down the road. I immediately called and had them recover the jacket and asked if they could mail the jacket to my address. They agreed. Now, 3 weeks later, after multiple calls to check, it seems to be still sitting in the managers office. And I can't seem to get in touch with management to ask about or check on the progress. If I knew it would be this difficult, I would've just turned around and got it then. My guest also had to call multiple times to check on the return of her incidental charges, which she says she hasn't ever had this much difficulty getting returned. If the manager happens to read this, you have my name number and address as I've called plenty of times and left messages with this info. I waited to leave a review to see if they would make this situation right, but I am disappointed to say that they have not.

I been at Marriott Bonvoy member since 2020. It seems the Marriott brand has progressively gone downhill. The Springhill Suites Montgomery Prattville/Millbrook reiterates the above statement.1. The pillows and mattress were extremely uncomfortable.2. The complimentary breakfast was awful. The main dishes (sausage and eggs) were laying in water and was disgusting.

Hard one to review. The employees are amazing regardless of shift. The breakfast is not bad. Hot eggs, ham type something and good waffles along with oatmeal, cereal, juice dispenser. Coffee hot and black. This seems to be fairly new, great layout. Rooms are enormous. Huge sitting area, king or two double beds, large modern bathroom. Shower is excellent. Has shampoo, conditioner and body gel. For some reason, lots of night activity and noise. For me, bed was comfortable and pillows nice.

Poor advertisement:Drove 10 hours, and it was told to us by the front desk that is it pet friendly and even took our pet deposit fee , when we got to the hotel they told us that " we couldn't leave our dogs alone in room and if we went to get dinner we have to bring them with us. They were extremely rude. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped here for a one night stay on a road trip across the southeast. Check in and out was a breeze and the room was modern and enormous! There was a massive closet, a kitchen and living room space with a desk. The bathroom was also very large with nice tile, glass and a cool lighted mirror. Great water pressure in the shower and one of those fun showerheads with different settings like rain and massage. We had two big beds plus the pull out couch so lots of people fit in here comfortably. I thought the bed and pillows were quite comfortable and my husband, who likes to sleep in a room as cold as a refrigerator was very pleased with the strong air conditioning, even though it was late June, and quite hot outside! It was a great jumping off point for the next stop on our visit. We got in quite late and slept through breakfast so we didn’t get to experience that, but the dining room area was also large and modern.

Unfortunately we went to Alabama for a funeral. We were already exhausted but we had to change rooms three times because someone didn't feel like cleaning the rooms. The 1st had dirt towels, dirty shower with blond hairs and dirt in the foot area of the sheet. The second had dirty everything, including a nasty toilet, pee stain on the sheet and grease from food and the counter and food in the tray and looked like semen stains on the sofa. The third was better but had makeup on one of the pillows. We settled because we were exhausted. I sprayed all the pillows and the bed with lysol. We've stayed at several springhill suites (peachtree city, GA and Savanna, GA). Even though they were 2 star hotels their hotels were cleaner and the service was better than some 4 star hotels we've stayed in.My other concern with this hotel is that I'm concerned that they may have homeless people staying here. I have no proof but my assumption is based on a conversation I heard after I checked in. We chose the hotel because we thought that it was new but it's falling apart because they aren't taking care of it.

Poorly designed rooms that have the bathroom lights blinding those sleeping. Noisy hotel. You hear so much walking, flushing… everything.Cleaned my car same day before my trip, I had a whole plan for my stay here but woke up to my car completely Infested with ants. I asked the front to help me as this must have happened while parked in THEIR parking lot. No help. Absolutely no care at all. Traveling with 2 babies. Very, very gross. Extremely upset.

Stayed 11 nights on a work trip. I would like to compliment the staff and management for all the sanitizing and cleaning. Thank you. I really enjoyed coming back each night and walking into the lobby to a welcoming environment. It’s a very nice property with a modern decor. The lobby is beautiful. The room was fine. I like the air freshener they use. Housekeeping and front desk were friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was a bit disappointing. Also, taking it down before 9:00 am in an aggressive manner was off putting. The breakfast attendant was the only staff member I came across that could use more customer service training. Overall I was very satisfied.Note for management - I would like to return in two weeks but the rate went up an additional $40 nightly and is significantly more than other hotels in the area for the dates I’ll be in town. I can’t justify the extra expense.

Great location, but hotel was very noisy! Floors creaked and the people above me sounded like they were in my room. Running water from somewhere all night. Fortunately, I had my noise cancelling headsets. When I arrived she said I am allowed one water, but the next day I asked about that policy and they said I can take from refrigerator.Fitness room was clean and maintained really well! Some of the staff was very pleasant and would greet you each time you entered and left the hotel! When I checked out on Friday, I asked for my receipt to be mailed to me so I could complete my expense report. I had this problem at my first Marriott stay last week. Verified the email with front desk. Waited until Sunday. Still no email.Called main number for Marriott and they suggested I call the hotel. Spoke with someone at the front desk and the person rudely explained I needed to verify my email when I check out. I reiterated that this was done at that time. He said, "I just sent it to you!". Finally, receive the email. But why the hassle?Trying to be proactive, I asked if there is a process I need to do in the future? His reply was the same, "I just sent it to you!"I won't be back! This hotel was not cheap nor reasonable. I did not feel like a valued customer. I just cancelled my reservations at future Marriott stays.Wow, Marriott, you need to do better for your guests!

I had a 3 night stay with my family. On their website it states rooms are cleaned daily, which that did not happen. I took out trash and asked for towels the entire stay. On our 2nd night the hotel must of double booked our room because around 7:00pm we had strangers with keys open our hotel room door and was just as surprised as we were. On top of that the two key I had for my room were deactivated. Good thing I had enough smarts to check them after the incident. Didn't even get as much as a sorry for what happened. They have breakfast daily and their plates were dirty. Could see dries egg on both the top and bottom of plates. Just not a pleasant experience. This is only the 2nd time I have actually left a negative review anywhere. So you can see how frustrating it was!

Came to this location with my husband due to a birthday party I was attending. The staff was polite and helpful, and check in was a breeze. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had no issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we’re in the area.

NO ROOM SERVICE OUR ENTIRE ONE WEEK stay ! We had to constantly ask for clean towels, some front desk gave us two and no more while others gave us plenty. Our bedroom linen hadn’t been changed the whole time, towels in our room piled up so high until it was ridiculous, the bathroom door slides and doesn’t lock for any type of privacy, the shower door opens backwards so if you have small children you cannot bathe them properly unless you get in with them as water will spray everywhere !! The mini fridge isn’t cold AT ALL ! Most of our waters next day were still room temp. The doors slam and slam so it’s very noisy!! The walls & floors are VERY as you will hear all types of running, jumping, stomping and even toilet flushing throughout the rooms. The pool is a joke, I think they only but that little bath tub out there to say they have a pool. One family at a time, I guess! The breakfast was terrible, I’ve never seen eggs float in water , sausages were not done and the coffee was trashy . I don’t understand any of that, but the breakfast attendant was lovely ! The best part of our stay here would have to be her and the other guests we passed in the hallway who were extremely friendly ! I give one star for the cleanliness of the room and that’s it. WE WILL NOT BE BACK !

The staff are so nice, and it’s so clean! I checked in after midnight but the front desk lady was kind and quick getting my keys. Everyone I encountered here was friendly and helpful. This hotel is a solid choice for a stay.

Stayed there on a Friday night. The staff was courteous and professional. We asked for extra pillows and towels, and there was no problem. Everything seemed brand new. The room had everything a traveler could need. The bathroom was spacious and well laid-out. Bed was comfortable. Towels were nice and thick. Water in the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. This checked all of the boxes for a mid-tier middle of Alabama hotel. We were on the ground floor and were concerned about noise, but I thought it was pretty quiet even though the hotel was at or near capacity. Breakfast was "fine" - the standard fare that you'd expect in any of these chain hotels. I'd stay here again without qualms.

Front desk representative (or maybe the manager) Craig was VERY friendly and professional. He gave us a wonderful dinner recommendation! This Marriott was short staffed and Craig was running the show by himself but was POSITIVE about it and even made us laugh a few times. Get this man a raise! :)Rooms were clean as as expected! Great stay, Marriott!

We stayed here on 2 different weekends and it was amazing. The staff was extremely accommodating with my friend and I along with our 3 kids, 6 and below. I wish I would have gotten their names, but any of the staff members working 26-27 February and 8-11 March were great. The price and location were on point. We may not have a reason to come back to Montgomery, but if we do I would book here over and over again. Thanks so much for such a great stay.

We booked a double room with this property, just for an overnight stay. We arrived late but were greeted with a smile from a nice gentleman who offered to assist with our luggage even though he was working by himself. When we arrived to our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and also that it had a pull-out couch! We had much more space than we anticipated and our room was clean and smelled fresh as well. The only reason that I am not giving them 5 stars is because the breakfast was not truly a 'hot breakfast' - it was more continental in offering with a waffle maker and turkey sausage.
