I love this Dollar general as it is very near my home. There is a huge selection of everything and it's set up a little bit differently than most other generals, but it's still easy to find what you were looking for. The staff here is always very friendly and incredibly helpful. It's one of the few dollar generals that I know that actually has the bathrooms open every now and then and not out of order. The store is incredibly well stocked and clean, the parking lot is also kept very clean as well, this is a great and save Dollar general to stop at.

My husband shopped here coming home from work one day and got a few items when he got home to realize not only did he get some of his items that they put his tobacco products in another bag and they didn't give him his receipt either stopped by the next day to see if he could get his items he bought. She refused to give them him and also refused to view camera to show he bought them and never received it or the receipt.. hes not sure of her name but just a warning make sure you get all your bags people . Bc they won't give them to you

Dishonest business practicesDG doesn't put all their posted coupons in their system so they sneakily take your money by charging you full price. This has happened more times than I can count. It's all locations not just this one. It's not the workers but corporate. Make sure you check the prices before you pay.

It's a dollar store. It is extremely busy, and there are never enough cashiers, but the employees make up for it by being extremely courteous and helpful. This is definitely not a place to whip in and out of quickly due to how busy it is and how few cashiers they have scheduled, however, the store is always clean and well stocked.

I would give it more but it's this one young lady that works there as a very poor communication skills when it comes to her customers,,if you don't know how to address the people that come in there spending their hard earned money to help your store stay a float so she can have a job plus get paid I feel she should take the time out and learn how to talk the customers appropriately and with respect.Thank you a true customer that shops in this store because I don't have a car to go anywhere else to shop @ at this moment but when I do get a car I won't be shopping there.

To much merchandise was in the way to be able to shop PROPERLY! The cashier which was a manager, had a very nasty attitude!No matter what an employee may be going through they should not take it out on a paying customer! Good store when you need something quick. Good location. Usually the checkout process is quick. This night there was only one cashier at checkout . Making the customers wait alittle longer. I could not give all 5 stars.

I'd rather shop here if it's mainly food items on my list. It is better organized than both supercenters. There are more food choices, and more brands offered. Fresh fruit and veggies are excellent. Dont expect a large assortment of dessert deli items. The employees are pleasant and selves are stocked.

I think this dollar store is the worst in the wiregrass. Their shelves are never stocked and the way the manager treats her customers is shameful. She talks about custimers to her employees infront of them so everyone can hear and is very rude.

Clean, But, "Never" stocked store! Their stock truck arrives on Tuesday. By Wed or Thurs store still not stocked properly. You see the Stockers running around acting like they are working when they are not. Just simply standing in the back by theRoll up door catching the boxes on fire. Taking extended breaks playing catch up since they haven't done anything all day but take breaks. Their excuse for not having a lot of inventory they blame it on Covid...Wrong they were out of Stock before the Pandemic hit. Wake up Managers we are onto your game.Please start ordering stock like you need to. Get up off your Lazy Tails. Bring in the numbers for your store so Midland City can Prosper.

I like shopping at most all Dollar General Stores because they are very convenient and carry just about everything someone should need which includes most all groceries and household items with a few clothes available along with a variety of cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products. But the Dollar General Store in Midlandcity,Al seems to be a very cluttered store at times. Isles are sometimes are impassable because of product sitting in the Isles. Plus I have on several occasions incurred very long lines at the registers with only one register open the time. But there would be other employees in the store but I guess we're taking care of duties. This store is only going to get three stars.

Themanagers are always outside smoking. They only have one cashier always. The line be wrap around. This is the worst DG around. I hate having to go to this store. I try I stop at one in Dothan on my way home.

I shop at this location at least twice a week, and the employees are always very helpful. The store is always well organized, and the idiots complaining online about this place have obviously never worked a retail/public service-related job. If stuff is on the floor, it's because IT IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PUT ON THE SHELVES. Someone didn't answer the phone quick enough? It's because a phone call doesn't override the person being HELPED IN PERSON! Christ, the people who give constant negative reviews on the internet are human garbage. Give a good review for once, for the people who actually work for a living, instead of only bad ones when you have a crappy day and feel like being an internet bad@@@.

I went in this afternoon and there was this excellent young lady that helped me extremely with the things I needed help finding. Keep up the good work. I believe her name was miniayah. She had a smile on her face and was very supportive and helpful.

Just shopped there for the last time. Sign was 3 for $3. They only had 2. A gentleman working there said they would honor it since there was only 2. Manager said no and he didn't have the authority to tell me that. No problem, walmart is same distance from my house. That's where I go from now on.

Its ok because there not another place in midland city . But when you fill like your a major bother . Because there are 5 people in line so management has to open up a register then she gets attitude because your using PayPal isn't that the whole purpose is to have more options to bring in more customers. The main thing people need to learn is that I dont care if it PayPal, Cash,or EBT, this is why you have a job so dont act like you your customers are a burden they are your paycheck. But opinion are like you know but that's mine.

It's an Alabama DG! sometimes tidy and sometimes strewed... There are some off colored people who work there but there are some who are very pleasant! Always good service and they have what I need!

Hi I'm your local guide the Dollar General STORE are good place to find tid bits. I love catching them summer and winter clothes you can't beat me their. I think most Midland Cityers have the same plan (hehe). I oftentimes wonder why is it call the $$ General most products cost more than a dollar. SELL ON NOW. THEY DO HAVE A PUBLIC BATHROOM BUT IT STAY OUT OF ORDER. GOOD SERVICE ALL AROUND.

This is the dirtiest Dollar General I have ever seen on the outside of the store. Trash running over the garbage can, oil cartons, soda bottles you name it all outside over the entire parking lot. Trash stacked up on the side of the store. This is a major turn off, hope they'll learn how to keep the outside of the store clean.
