I started shopping for Weekly groceries at this Walmart Neighborhood Market in January of 2022. I had been shopping at a popular Supermarket chain in Harvest AL for about 5 years, but my weekly grocery shopping bill had gone thru the roof! After many months of of shopping at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Madison, I've reduced my grocery bill by an average of $50-$80 every 7-10 days! The store's shelves are generally well stock, although some items e.g.Baby Formula, are in short supply, just like every other Supermarket & Grocery store on this planet. The floors are clean & the employees have always been helpful & courteous. Checkout is self-service. I really like this store; it's only a 5-minute trip longer than my previous Harvest Supermarket journey, but certainly worth the extra time it takes me drive there. I do not see myself & my family going back to our previous Harvest Supermarket.

We’d given up on finding a good Walmart in the area until we found this one. Everything we needed in stock and on the shelves. Didn’t have to dodge anyone filling up the shelves. Customer service at the self serve checkout was actually appeared happy to be there! Overall excellent experience!!!

Ive never had any issues with this walmart. Ive been shopping here for a few years.Friendly staff, they are always around and willing to assist. As far as products....they seem to have all of the essentials. Everything is easy to find and theres always an associate walking around ready to help.The only thing i can say negatively is that they close furtively early. Like 10pm i think. It would be more helpful if they were 24 hours because of the location.Its definitely our Neighborhood market though.

We do most of our grocery shopping here, then cross to Publix for the stuff they don't have (certain brands of coffee, fresh fish, etc)They have a wide selection of low-carb/keto foods (cereals, snack bars, frozen meals, shiratake noodles, etc) which is awesome👍It's usually excessively cold inside, but that's kind of par for the course with grocery stores. My husband gets annoyed that the checkouts don't have a "tap" option, but he's just silly.Speaking of checkouts, this location has self-checkouts EXCLUSIVELY. I'm just peachy with this, but I know some people prefer the traditional arrangement. Those people should avoid this store.The only issue I have with them is that sometimes the glass over the scanner(s) is grimy and doesn't scan well. I don't carry Windex around with me, so I can't do anything about it. 🤷🏻♀️

I want to start this review by saying Walmart is usually my go-to place because of their variety and prices.. but truthfully my experience at this Walmart has me questioning if I will shop at Walmart ever again. We went in to get groceries and ended up with approximately $175 worth of items. Just like many other families, our budget has become tighter with recent inflation so we were careful to add up our subtotal as we placed things in the basket. As we were checking out, we noticed a few handfuls of items (seriously multiple different items) were ringing up anywhere from 25 cents to a few dollars more than prices on the racks. These were not sale items either. We called the cashier over to our self check out & she immediately was rude to us prior to us even explaining what we needed. She told us she would not change the price on anything and that was “Walmart policy”. We shrugged it off and continued checking out. The last item I rang up was a beer bottle. The same cashier came over and asked for all of our IDs (my husband, sister & I). My forty-year-old sister did not have her wallet as she was just riding with us to get groceries and not buying anything. The cashier was even more rude this time and said she wasn’t going to approve the single alcohol item because my sister (again she’s in her forty’s and wasn’t buying anything) didn’t have her ID. We asked to see the manager. He took ten minutes to come over and we were stuck at the self check out hitting “need more time” every minute or so. The manager finally came over and stated it was “Walmart policy” to check every single ID regardless if someone wasn’t purchasing anything. He then went on to say the only time they won’t do this is if the person “appears to be a teenager since they might not have an ID”. Which didn’t make a bit of sense. We shrugged that off said we wouldn’t buy the alcohol and asked if we could show him the price tags that were ringing up wrong. He huffed and agreed saying it wouldn’t matter because it was “policy” to not change any prices. We walked back to the items (which one of them was macaroni noodles) he said he would change the price of a SINGLE item and that was it. We tried explaining to him it wasn’t a single item it was multiple items and we had bought multiple of each item. While standing in front of the noodles he said he wasn’t going to change any prices and we were “selfish for buying more than 2 or 3”. He literally called us selfish! At this point I was so angry and couldn’t believe this was happening. I told him that it was not right for them to bait and switch prices, it’s fraud. He said “I’m not discussing this with you any longer if you want to know the policy’s you can apply to work here” and he walked away! Needless to say we left the store and didn’t buy a single item. This place deserves NEGATIVE FIVE stars. It’s a pathetic excuse of a business. Not only are they rude but they are trying to scam people out of money hoping they don’t notice the small price increases they place on almost half of their items. Fraudulent criminals who are sorry-excuses of human beings.

Smaller than a standard Wal-Mart, with the focus on the food items side. Also has a pharmacy. The prices vary from the other Wal-Marts, so somethings are cheaper, others a little more. Open 24 hours and very convenient location, especially for those in the Harvest/Toney area.

I usually hate going to Walmart but today it was pleasant there was a young gentlemen and lady and they were so helpful and kind and patient! Usually it's teenagers sitting down staring at you making sure you don't forget a item like they make me feel I am working for their paycheck. But today they were very helpful and didn't act like I was bothering them it was good

Most of the staff here is pretty nice. Some of them won’t even speak to you if you speak to them. They only do buggy duty 1-2 times a day it seems as you often have to get a buggy from the corral yourself. Overall they are well stocked. They do a good bit of pick up service so there is often a lot of employees doing pick up shopping and it can get sort of congested at times - especially where they put all the orders waiting to be picked up. It’s hit or miss for sanitizing cart wipes to be stocked.

The store itself was nice, however, the cashier experience was rude. There was no direction to which check out line to exit with your groceries. The employees eye contact was not there, hardly smiled, absolutely thank you or have a good day! It was as if no one had manners or just was being plain rude!! I felt invisible........ 😔

Great Walmart! My favorite and wish it was closer to my house! All the produce was super fresh, shelves were well stocked with inventory and most importantly, every employee I ran into had a smile and said "hi", or offered to help. Very unusual in this environment today. So thanks for making my day!

Easy to shop. Get in and get out. Staff is friendly and helpful, so is management. Problems are resolved quickly. Checkout is now self-checkout but staff is readily available if you encounter a problem. Bonus: tax here is only 5.5% not the 9% that's in Huntsville or Madison, saving you extra money on your grocery bill!! I highly recommend shopping here!!

I shop here frequently and most of my experiences are good. A couple of days ago I went in early with my little one and we as were shopping we were greeted and we spoke to the employee! I was looking for a specific item that I did not see, he overheard me talking to myself trying to find this item. He asked me if I neded help and I described what I was looking for and we both searched and saw nothing. I gave up, I thanked him and kept moving down the isle! As I started looking for something else he called to me and told me he found the items, I was so happy and appreciative that he went the extra mile! Not only only was I excites about gettingbrhe item, I was able to clear my entire grocery list.....!(Y'all know how exciting that is!)! I asked him his name, he said his name is Robert, I told him that was my late father's name and we both smiled! I thanked him again and we parted ways! I am so thankful for this pleasant experience!💜💜

Let me start off by saying I hate I repeat I hate the whole self checkout situation! This store has some of the worst employees Ive ever encountered..there is no eye contact no have a good day nothing..and don't you dare have a question because they will not answer it or literally say I don't know..or my favorite one is oh it's Walmart policy...do better people..you should want people to enjoy coming into your store!

I purchased 95% of my groceries here, but no more! Having no option for cashier checkout is very slow and inconvenient. Self checkout is fine for a few items, but not for full grocery shopping. Cashiers were all so friendly and efficient - I miss that experience and will have to go elsewhere to get it now.

They bait and switch and have the worst customer service I've ever encountered!Multiple items are shown as one price in the store on the shelves and then marked up when you go to pay. Then they refused to honor their price shown for the items on the shelf if you purchased more than one. Said it was store policy. For example, they showed their pasta was $.80 but rang up at $.92. before tax. Also, the pasta Roni lists as $1 but charged me $1.22 before taxes. It's not a sale price or another store listing it was their own prices at store. Then they carded all four of us for a six pack of beer my brother-in-law wanted and was paying for. When we asked to have it cancelled, Lydia just looked at him and said for us to move the basket so she can get to it instead of taking two steps around it. When I said I wanted a manager I had to ask three times because she just stood there and stared at me. Unfortunately, the manager was summoned and it escalated and the service took a nose dive to pathetically pitiful when Marcus showed his face. They literally said they would not card an adult buying alcohol with a minor present but had to card all adults shopping together! Even when I took him to verify prices on items he was dug in and unreasonable and irrational. When I said it all made zero sense he told me call 1800walmart to complain and if I wanted to go over store policy they are hiring. We emptied our shopping bags we took in and as we were walking out Lydia yells across the store and while helping a customer, "Thank you and hurry up and come again." This woman is easily a senior in age and acting like this. They are rude, petty, and literally the worst customer service I've ever received was from this store. I'll NEVER RETURN!!

Do not order from this store ! Absolutely ridiculous ! When you do pick up you sit for over 2 hours. You do delivery it never gets delivered and you have to cancel. I live half a mile down the road. Only ordered a couple items with a tip at almost $10 and a driver wouldn’t take the order . Also I’ve tried the pick up 3 times now and it never fails you sit there forever . The employees are extremely rude and do not care. Would give negative stars if I could .

This is going to be a long one, friends. I’m not sure what is happening at this location. I’ve done pickup orders here before and while there were slight problems occasionally, such as bad produce, it was to be expected occasionally and nothing compared to tonight.I had a pickup order on December 7 for 7-8 PM. I got a text at 7 that it was delayed. No worries, stuff happens! At 8:30, I called and was told it would be another 40 minutes. We decided to go ahead and come up here to figure out why it was taking so long as we both had work the next day.We arrived, called, and spoke with a manager named Ian. He assured us our order would be out in five minutes. If you are skeptical, friend, so were we. Unsurprisingly, we were correct, so we called again, but of course Ian had just clocked out, but they assured us it would be right out and, lo, it actually was! Unfortunately, they brought our order out, then promptly loaded it into another persons car. We thought we had heard them ask if our name was on that order but when we tried to say that, the associate argued with us and the other person left with our order in their car. My husband spoke with a manager and confirmed that they had, in fact, given our order away. While waiting, we overheard from another car that their order was apparently sent out as a delivery by accident and another that her order had been delayed and she hadn’t heard anything yet, but they checked and it was “ready.” She was there almost as long as us, so that was determined to be a lie. At this point, pick up closes in 15 minutes. The car that mistakenly got our order then showed back up. Thankfully they didn’t try to give us the order from the stranger’s car (COVID times, I would rather not risk that, thanks) and said they were almost done re-picking our order. We finally got our order and we able to leave at 10:05. Just 2 hours past our latest pick up time. Just… what is even happening at this location? We tried not to be jerks because everyone has bad days, but this was honestly baffling. I definitely won’t be doing a pick up here again, which sucks because it’s by far the closest to our home, but I’d rather pay a little more for Publix and actually get my order in a timely manner, without them trying to give my order to a stranger all willy-nilly. If you value your time and sanity, steer clear of the Wall Triana location for pick up.

Had a delivery order this morning. I usually don't when I have produce, but I had no other choice this time. Well I'm glad I did, walmart employee picked out great produce. Very fresh and not damaged. My delivery driver Lane was the sweetest. She even left a hand written note for me. I will be using this walmart again.

Hadn't been in this particular Neighborhood Walmart before and didn't know where to look for the one item that I needed. I asked an associate and she gave me approximate directions that were pretty close. I do really appreciate those that aren't too busy to take you to what you've requested. I found what I needed and was able to check out with no wait.

I usually always do the grocery pickup and I did today, too. It's so convenient not to have to spend a lot of time in the grocery store as they do the shopping for you. While a bigger store might have more variety, this one usually has what I need and I have no problems. The customer service rep, Laura, who helped me put the groceries in my car is super nice and she's done it for me before too, just a really pleasant person to work with. Overall, a good store and great experience this time.

My biggest complaint is the long lines and lack of customer service. I realize this is the reputation Walmart carries but still it would be nice if they actually opened additional lines before 8-9 people are waiting. I have had some quick and easy trips there and others that felt like a nightmare trying to check out. I am a frequent shopper there for its convenient location and it is usually well stocked and clean. I have encountered many friendly associates, but others just don't seem to care or have poor attitudes.

Pick up is incredibly slow lately. The last few times I’ve checked in once it says my pickup is ready and waited 30-45 minutes for them to bring it out. Not sure why it’s so slow, but that is a huge wait when I’m the only vehicle waiting for my pickup.
