I get it. It happens to the best of us. There are some days when you simply do not want to be at work. For the person that worked the inside window on the afternoon of April 12th, it was one of those days. During my interactions with her, she was rude, condescending, and for someone in a health-care related position, totally lacking in compassion and professionalism. Needless to say, I will not be doing business again in any capacity with Walgreens.

Long haired cashier is extremely unfriendly. No matter if I show up after 12am or after 12pm.Super condescending, and tries to rope me into going to concerts with him for 5 minutes at a time during checkout. I just want to buy my things and leave.

The worst pharmacy and staff I have ever dealt with in my life. They are rude and have no sympathy or customer service. Everyone should file and write corporate until they fix this god awful place

Today will I was dropping off my prescription inside at the pharmacy, I observed one of the employees (older lady with long gray hair) speak to two different customers in a totally disrespectful way. Both of the customers separately approached the consultation window to inquire about there scheduled COVID shot. The employee told them both “she had only one line” (the line at the other open window) and they “could get in it if they wanted help”. After she said that to the first customer I told her “she was not very friendly” She responded by asking me “how do you think I should have said it” and “if I think she is unfriendly then someone else can help me.” However she continued to process my prescription. The second customer came to the open window and she said the exact same thing to her while rolling her eyes. It is a shame that she is working with the public at all but to work in a pharmacy where people come when sick and may need a friendly face and a kind word is heartbreaking. This employee should find a change of attitude.

The worst 24 hours store and the ONLY one . They don't care if you are nauseous.they closed the back part of the store and refuse to allow me to get some Over the counter medicine. So awful!!!!!!

WORST PHARMACY IN THE STATE! I have been trying to get my prescription transfered and refilled for TWO DAYS! The first guy forgot to even initiate the transfer on 8/23!! I called 3 times today to make sure it was finally transfered and one of those times someone picked up the phone and then HUNG UP ON ME after I was on hold for 20 MINUTES!!! I am a very level headed person but I literally NEED my medicine so when I came in at 5PM today to finally pick it up, they said there was a problem with my insurance and they were only just now able to start filling my prescription. I am a nervous wreck from being without them for pushing two days now. Now I am STUCK with this walgreens because I can only transfer a controlled substance once. Save your time and health by going ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

This pharmacy is difficult to deal with for several reasons. The drive thru almost always has a long line and even if you are the only car they will let you sit there for 10 or 15 minutes without even acknowledging you are there. Calling them is awful and the AI they use to tell you what you can or can't say is horrible. It goes on and on about vaccines and store hours and stuff you don't want to hear over and over. It would be nice to have a way to send them a message without calling thay awful service that might also hang up on you after you have been on hold for 30 minutes. But, I really need a 24 hour pharmacy. I am an insomniac and work a lot at night. I could use a 24 hour pharmacy but furthermore Huntaville is too big not to have at least 1. Hospitals can't just give you medicines like a pharmacy so if you are hurt but released from a hospital after 6 on Saturday or Sunday or at night you have nowhere to go that won't be a 3 hour trip there and back. I am going to write to the mayor and I encourage everyone else to as well. We need a 24 hour pharmacy. I will say that everyone working there seems to be working hard and terribly over worked. Walgreens needs to close some of the other walgreens and have one that is run properly. There are too many too close together in madison that aren't run well. That's my thoughts and I worked in logistics so I could do further analysis if needed. Lol

If you want a prescription filled, don't even bother with this place.They can't even get a kid's antibiotics filled in a timely manner (it's been hours and going onto the next day when the sick kid needs medicine).I don't care if its convenient to drive to, they're far from being a convenient pharmacy, look else where. Too bad U-Save was forced to close down.

I CAME FROM A CITY WHERE MY WALGREENS ROCKED! They have a doctor on site at all times which was amazing! The pharmacists are extremely helpful in getting you your medicine cheap and quickly.Pharmacist there call around to other places not just other WALGREENS, but all pharmacies!!! They Care!Here in Madison/Huntsville NOT SO MUCH. If you ask them to look elsewhere to fill your order they tell you no, do it yourself! They don't offer you extra savings on your medicine. It's FREE savings off your medicine even with insurance, you ask for it here & they look at you like you are speaking in tongue!GETTING A REFILL HERE IS NOT DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. I AM ALWAYS HAVING TO SKIP MY DAILY MEDICINE BECAUSE OF THIS! What if I were to die? We know WALGREENS wouldn't care!There is not one doctor available at any of the WALGREENS in Madison or Huntsville.I loathe WALGREENS in Madison/Huntsville/Alabama.~ Rats welcome, literally, saw one go through the doors as I was entering. Talk about screaming 😱.OH my G! I hate this place. REFILLS SHOULDN'T BE SO DANG HARD. MY PRESCRIPTION WRITTEN BY THE DOCTOR SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE QUESTIONED BY THE FILLER. JUST FILL IT!

Honestly I like this store but I just had the worst experience with a manager here. My boyfriend was doordashing and his hands were full so I was helping him take the order to the register (2 separate orders. One was snacks & the other was a case of beer) and a manager had to come help ring it up (cashier was under age) and she wouldn’t sell to him because I didn’t have my ID on me. Remember it’s for DoorDash not even for us. The manager was an older lady who used a cane. She was absolutely so rude and had a major attitude. Then while we were leaving we told her and the cashier to have a good night and she completely ignored us (purposely) and had a rude look on her face. Then when he went back for a whole separate order and I wasn’t even with him she still refused to sell to him and had an attitude again. I don’t like people who mess with our money. Especially ones who have an attitude while doing it. The manager was Deborah Hall

Tale forever even if hardly anyone is waiting. Pharmacist told me about something that the computer said I did on my last rx pick up that I did not do. I only said I have never used one of those and he proceeds to try and turn it in to a thing and tell me to calm down even tho I was perfectly calm. When I told him I'm fine and he is the one that needs to breathe he then made me sit and wait out of spite while getting people behind me in line in and out in minutes. Currently sitting here while writing this review. The customers served that arrived here after me count is up to 5

Pharmacy is always a very long wait. And even though they claim they are 24hours the drive through lane phones are always conveniently down at 5-6am and no one seems to be present.Even when you get to the window it always seems to take a long time.I think Walgreens needs to get their stuff figured out and maybe up the salary to attract more pharmacists of a higher quality and stop trying to glide by with what ever minimal effort they are trying to do now.Switching pharmacies I would recommend to never go to this place.

This place has went downhill fast. Not sure if they can’t handle increased customer volume or their poor at handling everything which makes it seem like they have more traffic. Always a long wait for prescriptions due to lines backed up inside and out. Always on hold last time 45 mins before getting hung up on while waiting in cue to speak to a person. Spent 5-6 hours since 10/18 trying ti get my meds Called in by my MD. Same one same meds same insurance since June telling me I need a prior authorization when we went through this in June and a several reps from my actual insurance company have called them to tell them they in fact do not need that for them to pay it and they still won’t fill the prescription saying it needs to be done when my doctor sent again and insurance said they approve to cover. Only location that I have this issue with got sane med filled every month even at Walgreens in country line in September …no issue.

This pharmacy might sound great because it’s a big chain and open 24 hours but it’s been hell. First we took our kids to get shots and we had an appointment at 5pm and we waiting until 7:30 to get the shot! We waited forever and no one could tell us why! Two EVERYTIME I call there is no answer after being on hold for 30 minutes! And then they hang up on you! I’m currently on hold because I need a very important time sensitive medication by 10pm tomorrow and no one has helped me! I’m over this pharmacy. Time to move on!

I visited this Walgreens in March of 2022 and have never waited this long to be greeted in the Rx drive through. Waiting ten minutes just to be greeted felt excessive. Both pharmacy techs were inattentive and unprepared with my prescription at the time that I arrived although I called this Rx in hours prior to arriving. This was at 9:15 at night and the pharmacy was not at all busy. A simple “I’ll be right with you” would have sufficed if they had other duties tying them up from addressing my presence in the drive through.

I am not happy with this location as of the last month. I needed my prescription filled two weeks ago after a doctor’s appointment. The speaker at the drive thru was broken and they had several people working in the pharmacy. One of the lanes was blocked off. This location is way too busy to not accommodate customers with accessibility. They’ve gotten away from good customer service since Covid. This location was great because it was a 24 hour pharmacy. That has changed and everything about it has changed. Management needs to work with staff to be friendly. I am loyal to the Walgreens brand and am switching to a better location.

Pharmacy does an amazing job of not answering the phone. Additionally they continue this level of garbage customer service by picking up the phone, putting you on a different hold, until the phone then automatically hangs up. 40 minutes on hold, to not reach anyone. Called from 3pm-4pm. Not cute.

I went to get a prescription filled at 8am, this pharmacy advertises that they're open 24hrs. When I asked the pharmacist if I could wait, he said it would be an hour before he could do it because he didn't have a tech, Really? The pharmacist was obviously to lazy to count out my pills himself, sir you should be ashamed, you didn't even look at my prescription

Not sure if it's walgreens pharmacies or just this location, but they need to take off the "open 24 hrs" sign & off google since they open at 8am and probably close by 8pm or earlier.I'm sure the staff is overworked, but that doesn't justify 3 employees stand at the back computer talking to each other while 1 employee runs DT and the counter. Because if that's the case, then they can absolutely be open 24/7.And I don't understand why DT takes over 15 mins every time if prescriptions are ready for pickup.

Privacy issues & chaos. I feel really, really bad for the people who work here.First, I had appt. In the time I was standing at counter or sitting & waiting for vaccination - I got to hear everyone's birthday at counter, and if you were pulling in to drive- through I got hear what drug that patients were getting.Location in desperate need of an overhaul and lean principles being applied. Very chaotic.1)Don't yell at people when you didn't properly train them.2)Walgreens Corp could help their team members during high volume times by only having vaccine appts every 30 min. You have the data- use it.FYI- I didnt get my vaccination until 89 min after scheduled time.

The Pharmacists are good and very quick. the Pharmacy techs and cashiers are always rude and when you speak with them on the phone, they are even worse! They need to get better employees with patients and understanding. Dealing with so many customer can be very demanding but when your sick, tired, and hurting and then deal with rude employees, it doesn't help one bit and actually will make you feel even worse then you already do.You can never get through on the phone to anyone 85% of the time. Stop hiring incompetent pharmacy technicians and cashiers! I'm surprised this place hasn't killed anyone yet. Well atleast not that we know of! With so many bad reviews, why is nothing being done about this? Only 24hr pharmacy in Madison/Huntsville area why? It would help this store if they would have one in every certain amount of miles from each other opened 24/7. Something needs to be done soon or will be going somewhere else! Only reason we gets ours done here is due to my husband working nights shifts!

This used to be my go to pharmacy and they’ve always been prompt. Unfortunately I’ve noticed that when you call the pharmacy they’ll have you on hold for 20-30 then hang up on you. Not only that my regular meds take too long to fill here when the other slow ones get it done with no issues. Like what is going on? You can’t play with peoples health and well being

The pharmacy staff is great, especially the blonde, male tech. While there, more than one customer was extremely rude, demanding and quite frankly, lacking common sense. (Who believes they can get a prescription medication without a prescription? Who doesn't know that there will be a wait at a busy pharmacy?) Considering what I imagine the staff has to deal with on a regular basis, I'm very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and fairness to those of us who act like adults.

I used to go here with all my business. My family as well.. We a will not be back because they had a yard service that blew dirt and cut grass all inside and all over people and their vehicles! That was beyond unprofessional that I've ever seen. I used to landscape and trim yards. We never carried out our business in this fashion. We were sitting in the car with windows down. They never let anyone know they were about to dust everybody cars! They blew the lawn! Why would you blow the lawn!?

On hold 15 min and then someone picked up and put me on hold again twice then picked it up and hung up on me. I couldn't call back because it was now a few minutes past closing. Apparently they didn't want to answer any pharmacy calls 15 minutes before closing. I had a potentially life threatening question about my prescription. Despicable!I will be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy in the morning.

This location is not able to handle their volume. They are not capable of a refill within the guaranteed 24 hours whether you use the app, website, or call. If you arrive after the app guaranteed the refill, you will still need to wait in the store as they fill it; maybe they only fill prescriptions after you arrive. I've been using them for 5 months and have had one neutral experience; that's the best out of perhaps 12 visits. If you try to call, expect at minimum a several-minute hold.I would recommend using a different Walgreens if your insurance requires you to use them. Or bring a phone charger and a book in with you. Good luck. I'm confused by positive reviews. They employees can be wonderful sweethearts all day, but the purpose of the business is to dispense medications. This location is not capable of doing so.

Still the worst walgreens pharmacy. They never have prescriptions ready when they are supposed to be. They are slow. And not helpful. Half the time they have issues with insurance so you have to pay full price then file a claim because their workers can't figure out the system

Bring a book, the wait here is so ridiculously long. I made an appointment for my kids to get vaccines and my 5pm appointment turned into a 6pm appointment. We didn’t even leave until 6:15pm.. something that takes 5 minutes took over an hour. Why even make an appointment and have options for every 10 mins on the hour if you don’t honor them? The drive through line is usually 3-4 cars deep and you can easily wait 45 mins in line. Either management needs help or they need more staff. Something should really change.
