Went to go grab a few groceries and usually I have a pleasant experience. I was by the salad bar near the deli when I heard someone from the deli scream at their coworker. I think her name was Tasha (didn’t get the clearest look at her nametag). From what it looked like, she was throwing a fit over this guy not helping out a customer when he was clearly in the middle of slicing meats while her and another associate stood around doing nothing. I dunno, would kinda like to enjoy my shopping experience without hearing the employees scream.

I've lived here for one year and moved from out of state. So far, the majority of the workers in this store along with many of the customers are flat out rude! I literally shop here every week and there are only about three workers I can think of that are actually polite to customers. It's honestly surprising given how often I shop here. Not only that, my daughter and I both have disabilities and it's caused issues with customers at times who aren't aware and assume I'm intentionally in their way because I have nothing better to do in life. I'm thankful I can still put my damn pants on straight. I've talked to the manager about this and their placement of display tables in the middle of the front aisle. I cannot hear people coming up behind me and a man became angry at me for stopping at the display table as if I was doing this solely to be in his way when I had no idea he was behind me. The manager nodded and of-course, offered no solution. Since then, there have been other issues that have occurred based off other customers and workers making assumptions. If you're moving here from out of state or if you have disabilities, just be prepared to be considered "the problem," again - regardless of how much money you've spent here or how polite and accommodating and apologetic you try to be. Which is why I'm writing this detailed review. I've tolerated it for a year and I refuse to spend another dime here with numerous employees scowling at me for whatever their issue is that day. I will happily be shopping at Costco from now on!!

I have shopped at this Publix several times since moving to Madison since its close to my neighborhood. Publix is new to me so I thought I'd give it a try. This store is always clean and organized. I don't think I've ever waited too long in the check out lines. My favorite part of going to this Publix is walking in and seeing all the beautiful, healthy plants in the flower section. Then experiencing all the delightful pastries. I love the fresh cut fruit section. Oh, and the deli! The blessed deli always has something to please. I've purchased at the deli for a quick lunch grab and not been too disappointed. My daughter does says to tell you all to stay away from the fried okra. (blah!) I cannot wrap up my review without mentioning that the staff (especially in the deli) are very polite and welcoming. I recommend! (4 stars only because of the okra)

Sat there with seven other people waiting in the deli while two managers, one named Chris, sat and had a full conversation as the line backed up. Danielle, who was VERY kind, was extraordinarily helpful. It's really disappointing coming into many Publix stores in this area and seeing leadership absolutely fail while the associates are the one who keep the stores afloat.

Don't have Roger make your sub. The man doesn't seem like he enjoys working there and my impression is the middle aged man doesn't know how to make a sub. You'll have better quality at Subway across the street.

Beware! Publix Bakery cupcakes containBIO ENGINEERED food produts! It's printed on the bottom, not with the ingredient info! Now you have to look on the bottom, underside of the item to see which products to avoid! You know it's BAD for you when they go out of their way to HIDE the info on the bottom side!!!

This store has the meanest and rudest customer service desk! Pam and Dawn are both rude, unprofessional and incompetent! I would avoid shopping at this location. There are plenty of other places to shop. This store does not care about customers or business. Go where you are appreciated, and it’s not here.

They are always SO nice and accommodating at this Publix. The baker and deli are FANTASTIC! I was shocked at how good the sandwiches, wedge fried, and fresh bread are.

This grocery store is super clean. Staff is always friendly. It's a little pricey but sometimes you can find some really good deals. The bakery is AMAZING. Best place for birthday cakes.

Publix is your more upscale store. Customer service is excellent. Store is always clean. Everything in stock. The ATM out front has no surcharge for most banks. Use the app and coupons to save money. This is my go to store when I need one stop to get everything for a meal!

nice store but would be better if the employees weren't constantly standing around chit chatting - better yet this location would be more appealing with self checkout. i will often choose another store or publix location just bc there is no self checkout here. the small talk is just not for me, and not a fan of waiting for employees to finish personal convos before they will start ringing up your items.

dawn in customer service just gave me an encounter I never experienced at a publix before.I went to the customer service desk to checkout blueberries and walnuts... 2 items. I was told I can't checkout there and was told to go to a line.as I was checking out, she dawn was the bagger, I asked her why I couldn't checkout my two items there.. she gave me an explanation about "headcounts" and no one can get to me.. when three people including her were behind the customer service desk.I told her that I've never been told I can't checkout at a customer service register.. much less with two items. She ignored and said have a good day.I walked out and walked back in to her talking some trash to two other employees about my interaction with her. After she stopped, I asked for her name, even though I saw her badge.. so I could write this review.

Grate experience at this Publix! The store is clean. Lots of employees available to help if needed. All departments are well stocked. The produce was fresh and plentiful. Short checkout wait and serviced by friendly, efficient staff. Overall very nice shopping venue. I was totally satisfied.

Super clean with plenty of cashiers. I just wish there were a few self checkout stations. I bring my own reusable bag, but the baggers can never fit it all back in without sending me home with plastic. It's nice that they employ so many people up front, though.

My first time on this store. Employees stocking the fresh fruit and veggies department seemed to take pride in their area to look nice and stocked (which it did) Everything was fresh! The people working in deli were super nice and offered me a sample. Store was well stocked including the bogo sale items. I was able to buy everything I needed.
