GREAT PLACE LOVE THE WORKERS AND MANAGER... UNFORTUNATELY THIS HAS BEEN MY 3RD VISIT TO THE STORE AND THESE POOR EMPLOYEES ARE WORKING WITH NO A/C. IT AS HOT AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO STAY AND SHOP. I love this store! I love the various things you can find here! I even saw some bath and body works shower gel! Anything you need, you’ll probably find it here, home decor, snacks, garden supplies, toys, kitchen supplies, and literally anything!

Disappointed. We’re been snowed/iced in for 4 days and the one place I wanted to come to is this store. It is currently 4:09pm and the doors are locked no sign on the door explaining what was going on. All lights are on and seen one employee. Tried to call but no answer. Also lost money from a DoorDash Order

This is such an amazing place to shop. They have so many neat things. Their prices are very good. Their seasonal stuff is awesome. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. Great place to shop. I would highly recommend it.

This is an interesting store. It's owned by the same company as Dollar General, but the interior is the exact opposite vibe. Think "5 Below" but with a calm atmosphere. Quality is a little above the Dollar Tree, prices are great, and the saleswoman was extremely friendly. We accidentally broke a candle while in there, and they didn't make us pay (I don't recommend this, but despite being careful, it happens) and that made us want to purchase more than we planned. Oh, the best part - it smells REALLY good inside! When we asked the cashier, she said that they have their own signature scent. It's how we ended up in the candle section. If you're thinking of stopping by, you should definitely check out this store. Perfect place to find a gift for a friend or something for your home while remaining budget-friendly.

My daughter and I visited this store for the first time. The store was clean, smelled nice, and the shelves were stocked. We were greeted when we first entered the store. There's lots of cute stuff for really great prices you can't be anywhere. They also sell some brand name items as well. The store has a couple of self checkouts as well. This store will now be one we stop in every week.

Love this store. Has many awesome products for amazing prices. Great helpful staff.They're very slim pickins when it comes to gift bags though. That's my only complaint. They only had 3 different gift bag choices.

Cute items with Dollar General prices. Employees were very friendly, and the store was neat. We couldn't stay long because of a sickeningly strong air freshener smell. Hopefully it's not always like that. It was making my nose burn!

This was my first time visiting a pop shelf store. It was very well organized and well stocked. In fact the employees were very busy putting out new things! The display areas were very pretty. Overall, the store was very bright and friendly and inviting. Maybe even more importantly so were the employees!

Was very surprised how nice and organized and clean this was considering it's affiliation with Dollar General. They had some nice products, reasonable prices, and good selection. Appears to be more of a go see what they have versus a daily staple goods type retailer, but I will definitely be back.

A very neat store that was new to me. I saw many interesting items at fantastic prices. I thought it was well layed out, clean and the friendly staff were the cherry on top. Visiting from The Shoals, it made me wish we had one there.

This was my first time coming here and Alexis went above and beyond with her customer service. She is a model of what helping customers should and need to be. I have to recognize her for doing an amazing job and I hope you do to. She deserves a raise and then some. I’ll be SURE to come back to this store specifically because of her.

Today was my 2nd visit to the Madison location in as many days!!! On my first visit(Friday), I fell in love at first sight! The store was very well organized, extremely neat and clean and the employees were super friendly (especially the young man whom I believe to be the manager). But, on my visit tonight, the two young ladies that assisted me with my sons birthday balloons, went over and beyond GREAT customer service! My apologies that I don’t remember their names, but I’ll never forget how they made me feel like a valued customer and human… Popshelf has gained a customer for life.

This place just opened in Madison. My wife and I thought it was great. It was like an upscale dollar store... inexpensive, clean and organized. The people working there are VERY helpful and friendly.

I've been to other popshelf locations and was a little disappointed by this one. This location is much smaller and didn't have a lot to pick from in each section. The biggest issue I had was the overwhelming smell when I walked in. All the candles and sprays and whatever else was very overpowering. I got a headache almost immediately.

They sell 16 oz can drinks for a dollar and it's completely self checkout but if you have a lot of items there's always someone around to physically help you chip check out
