For people over 30 years old in the South of the United States, everyone has feelings for this pig. For example, when I go to visit my grandma at her country house, there are always some local agricultural specialties from small businesses, as well as nostalgic... Old thing, the big conglomerates are already big. We need to support these conscientious small and medium-sized supermarkets.

This (sort of) new location is bigger and more spacious than the old cramped building The Pig previously occupied. The meat department is large, there’s a Lartigue’s seafood section with a lot of locally caught fish, and they sell a ton of local/regional food products, too. Frankly, shopping here is more fun than some of the grocery stores in Foley! They also stock half gallons of Cammie’s Old Dutch ice cream, made in Mobile.The produce section isn’t large, but what they have seems to be good quality. Despite the promise of low prices, the “cost plus 10%” model doesn’t really seem to save much money at all. But still, Loxley has a great local market in Piggly Wiggly.

The team at this location is so beyond friendly. They are courteous, enthusiastic to help you find what you’re looking for, and offer suggestions on products in case you need help. The location is clean and well organized and located for convenience. They will continue to be my go to store.

The people here are very courteous and the produce is fresh. They now sell Beyond Beef, Beyond Sausage, Genesis 1:29 bread, Country Crock Plant Butter, Melt butter and a small selection of Gardein products. They may not have very many vegan items but the selection is good.

I wish I had a Piggly Wiggly like this one near my home. It was great with a lot of variety. There were more employees working than I expected, keeping the store stocked and looking nice.

The store is always so clean and orderly. The staff is always very friendly. Never really seen anything that was out of stock. Their hot bar is phenomenal. Whoever cooks the food does a fantastic job. I stop in a few nights a week after work to grab dinner. Great place to shop!

Small store. Frndly staff. Shirt lines. Decent prices. EXCELLENT meat and produce.Don't care for the "cost + 10%" concept. They're gambling you don't know how to add 10% to the cost of an item to know what it really costs.Still, most items are very reasonable given their convenience and service level

Love this grocery store. I had never been to one until I recently moved here. I have been bragging to my family about Piggly Wiggly and as soon as Christmas plans were made to come to Alabama this is the first place everyone wanted to visit. The fried fish yes yes and yes😋

Store is clean and uncluttered. Fresh seafood, meat is always fresh. Plenty of variety. One of the best places to shop even with the extra 10%. Lots of specials, and everyone there treats you as a special person and are very helpful. Highly recommend.

I have a pleasant shopping experience often and the seafood section is proactive and genuinely helpful. Adding a picture of the swordfish it and the tuna looked like it could jump out of the case fresh!

No cashier at the registers. When asked to be checked out, they told us they weren't on the clock yet. If you don't have people on the clock yet, don't open the doors.

The best, cleanest, store around. Check out lines are always open with cheerful, helpful cashiers. I shop there 2 to 3 times a week and I never have to wait in line. All lanes are usually open along with several self checkouts. My absolute favorite store to shop.

Love, love, love the new store. The employees are amazing and helpful. Loxley may be getting bigger, but The Pig still feels like home. The employees still great you will a smile and a sweet greeting.

Went there in the morning to get breakfast and it was always fresh and good really like the grits and the sausage and the hash browns eggs are okay and everything else was fine one thing I hope they would maybe put on there would be toast other than that it was great experience.

This has been our go-to store for a long time and it will be for a lot longer. The selections are good, the cleanliness of the store is great, and they carry great produce (local when it is available). The meat market workers are always willing to make sure you get what you need (or want for that matter), and they will cut and wrap what you ask for without complaint. I only gave them a 4 star rating because sometimes I would like to have prime level beef, but they never have it. In general, this is a small hometown grocery store that will meet your everyday needs without breaking the bank.

Nice new grocery in Loxley, and the seafood shop is a nice and needed addition- you wouldn't think so being this close to the coast. Not usually super-busy. Great helpful staff. Good overall selections. Beautiful produce section. The store is clean and well stocked. A needed addition to the area. My new grocery store.

My only complaint, is they do not pre-made sushi rolls like the fairhope location, b/c they are individually/locally owned. Other than that, great clean store with helpful employees. Just don't go in for sushi or you'll be sadly disappointed as I was.

Da butcher treats ya just like a brother. Best place for custom beef. This crew aims to please I promise ya. You all out have to try the hatchet steaks that is one hell of custom cut.
