This is a good store that tries, hard, to keep up and have good stock. They generally have a pretty decent level of turn-over in their younger staff so i try not to get too used to them, the older staff seems to have held on the longest.Their bathrooms are clean and, generally, they don't have long lines. I would say the two ladies (who seem to be there most often) go out of their way to keep the store a well-stocked and the machines online as long as possible, there are break-downs sometimes but that cannot really be helped by the staff.Overall, it's a pretty good experience and the staff is respectful for the most part. Sometimes the weekend days the lines get a tad long but i've seen those ladies out there, pushing the limits, to get people checked out ASAP so "kudos" to them :)

Friendly employees and they are always eager to help if your looking for something in particular and Dollar General has good prices on some of their merchandise. It's very convenient and close when you need something quick and in a hurry especially when you don't have enough time to run into town.

These people in Oneonta AL are so kind. Every time I go visit my dad we always run into the nicest folks, this Dollar General was no exception. I was in line and even one of the customers offered to go get an item that I forgot so I wouldn’t have to get out of line.The cashiers are so friendly, too! And that’s what you get when you come to the south. This Dollar General offers lots of great items, they even have all of their fall items out right now. Good prices too. I predict one day there will be more dollar generals than Walmarts.I love this place!

Convenient place to get last minute stuff and the employees are the most helpful and kind people. I recommend waiting until after 2-18-21 if you are needing any cold items bc they are about to remodel store and coolers are empty.

It was 10:28pm (they close at 11) and I was checking out, they have ApplePay but for some reason the machine wasn’t working for register #1, I didn’t bring my wallet with me and neither did my boyfriend. We tried a few more times and it wasn’t working. Well we didn’t want to drive all of the way home so we asked if they could open the self checkout or register #3. She said they can’t because they close soon, etc. So we decided to go back home and grab my card and come back. (slightly frustrating but whatever) We get back and another lady is there and she goes “cash or card?” and i said “Card” of course and she proceeds to say “I can get you on register #3” and I was so mad. I said “The other lady said she couldn’t open up register #3?” and she said “yeah we had it closed but I got it opened back up. I can only take card though, no cash. I just got done counting the cash.” I said “right… but we weren’t paying with cash in the first place. just ApplePay. and we were denied. We had to go home and get a card and come back.” and she said “well I was busy counting cash.” Like couldn’t the other lady let me know that there is an extra person that could come in a minute and open it??? I would have been fine waiting but instead I had to drive back home and come back. It is so frustrating for me.

Everytime in go in 2 times a week the shelfs are not stocked, half off store never stay full, I explained to the cashier that the product I look for not on shelf empty, she look at me and not say nothing, she could have said that we will get it stock up soon, short on help, or something. Also I applied for the job here, I would help out stocking the shelf so the customers will have some thing get, no calls for the job application that I applied for, no response on the website for any status.

This DG is a mid range store. It's got a little wider selection than most of the smaller ones. But isn't quite one of the newer "super" DGs. The workers are extremely friendly here, at least whenever I go in each week. Another good thing about this store is that they open at 7am every day of the week while most of the others in this area open at 8. This means that I can hit this location on my way home from work when the others are closed (I work nights). Very clean store, and a bathroom is available. As far as DGs go, this one is above average.

The workers need a course in not being rude , they never smile and no politeness at all. The store needs a new store manager she's hateful and rude also !A lot of my friends and family complain about her !

Me and my granddaughter shopped here yesterday late afternoon. The cashier asked for my id so I (handed) it to her, when she was done with my id she just threw them on the counter. Why couldn't she hand them back to me? This was rude, and if my granddaughter was not there I would have given her a piece of my mind in front of the other customers. I'll not shop at this location again. Whatever is going on in your life don't bring it to work and or if your attitude just really sucks don't work a job with the public.

I like the associates at the check out. One lady especially but dont know her name! She drives a small maroon suv and lives down the block where I used to live in Oneonta. This Dollar General usually has all the merchandise I'm shopping for though the store could use an update!! It needs to be enlarged to cut down on the clutter and automatic doors added but the hometown feel is special.

The Locust Fork Al. Location is immaculate and we'll organized. Somebody needs to help Oneonta location bad. The store is never neat and the floors are always dirty and look as if they are never cleaned. The employees are nice there but the dirty store makes you want to go somewhere else despite the convenience. I wish I lived closer to the Locust Fork store.

Cant find what you need. Cashier do not know what they are doing, they dont know about credit cards, debit cards or EBT. They need to have employees that know how to do there job. Unless you are using cash I would stay away from that store Period.

This store is clean and neat. I liked this one, it was well stocked without being "stuffed" to the gills with extra merchandise. This is not one of my regular stores, I was passing through but I liked it

rude staff I understand being busy but don't point and raise your voice to a customer is waiting in line to spend the money they worked for at your store and apparently no one in the store know the HQ number and seemed to think it was funny I was going to file a report so they don't care wish I could give them a zero

Dollar General is the grocery store of Locust Fork. Everything else is a 30 minute drive. Their staff is always courteous and helpful.
