My husband and I were traveling back from Nashville when our car was having issues and it was not safe to drive any further. It was 11pm at night when we got a room at this hotel. Upon walking into the room none of the lights worked except for in the bathroom. We decided to check the mattress just to make sure it was safe and found German roaches in the bed (if you know anything about roaches, these are the WORST type. They will travel with you, infest cars, houses, apartments. They are a living nightmare). Since we had only been there for 10 minutes and hadn’t brought anything in, we immediately went to the front desk, showed them pictures I took of one of the roaches in the bed and asked for a refund. Charles was working the desk and said he didn’t have the code to provide our refund at the moment, but that the manager would contact us in the morning and issue our refund. Refund was never received and anytime I call, no one picks up. We drove very slowly in our car (which was busted and needed repairs) to the comfort inn down the street. I honestly wouldn’t be writing this review if they had kept their word and refunded us, especially with the picture evidence I had.

The room admittedly surprised me. Will definitely use again. They are updating rooms. My advice try them out. The more people who visit, the quicker Livingston will have a good reasonably priced hotel that is in good shape.

I paid a modest rate to stay here. I was never bothered by ownership or housekeeping in a negative way. As someone who travels for work and likes to live as cheaply as possible without sacrificing things like a quiet and safe atmosphere, plenty of hot water, and a comfortable bed full of pillows... this has been a great experience and if you're travel goals align with my own, this is the best place to stay in or around Livingston. The old man who owns it is a good guy and I'm always pleased when the money I spend can go to a small business as opposed to a corporation.

We stayed there around October this year. We were low on funds found the western inn we were not going to stop due to the outside but we are glad we did, the inside was AMAZING. Comfortable bed, great channels, smoking rooms, and of course great rates. We stay in different hotels literally every night and was by far the BEST we have came across. If we are ever in that area again that is where we will be staying for sure. The owner could easily get 100 for the rooms (glad it's not though) though would for that hotel.

Stayed here just passing through from work. This hotel is amazing. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were extremely nice. Above all, the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I highly recommend this place for anyone!

When I first pulled into the motel I was a little skeptical and was planning on heading up the road to a hotel. However, I was surprised with my stay. Clean and the gentleman that works the front desk was personable.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The outside is a little off, but the rooms are nice! Comfy beds, nice showers. Nice and quiet atmosphere. If you need a place to stop, its a, Good place to stop.

Excellent remodeled rooms with great staff for an affordable price. I was very impressed with everything about this hotel. The room was clean, the wifi and TV worked well, and it even had a marble shower!

Great place to stay. Don't let the exterior of this place fool you. They have great newly renovated rooms and very comfortable beds. Will stay here every time I come through. Thanks for a great experience.

Most time easy and quick to stay here. Hunting season is only time we stay and hunters normally have a very inexpensive stay. Less than 50.00 a night Office staff is normally helpful just want hardly take or hold reservations even when on site needing another room.

I had a rough drive coming from California heading to Georgia. It was really late night when I found this Lil oasis! Lol My Daughter, cat's and I were exhausted! I was greeted by a lady and gentlemen. THEY WERE THE NICEST PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET!! THEY SHOWED US AMAZING SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY!! THEY WENT WAY OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SEE TO IT WE WERE COMFORTABLE 😊 The Outside doesn't look like much but the inside is lovely and very clean. It's right next to pizza hut. BY FAR THE BEST DEAL AROUND!! If I didn't have a home in Georgia I think I would have negotiated rent!! LolLOVE THE PEOPLE! LOVED MY EXPERIENCE!Out of several hotels I visited along the way (some pretty expensive) This is the best one I'll always remember fondly 😊THANK YOU SO MUCH SINCERELY CHARITY

Hi everyone my husband, daughter and I moved to Livingston, Alabama and we needed a place to stay until the house we were going to rent got finished with remodeling and repairs. We went to the Comfort Inn first and stayed two nights which by the way was over priced and having pets they wanted to charge $20.00 per pet 🤨 we only have birds and guinea pigs which are in cages☹️ absolutely ridiculous...so I found the only other motel in town Western Inn! The guy that answered the phone was very nice I explained our situation to him and asked his rates he explained and we went there the next day. I went in he greeted me and I spoke to him as well and told him that I had spoke with him over the phone about getting a room for my daughter husband and I and our pets, he told me that he wouldn’t charge me a fee for our pets because of the types of pets that we had and that it wouldn’t be a problem if they stayed....he took us to our room, opened the door up and showed it to us, he told me that he’d bring us another set of towels, and our room was really clean!!!! The head housekeeper named William is very nice and does a really great job with making sure that you have everything for your room....well the guy we were supposed to rent the house from took forever to get through so we ended up staying there 2.5 months and we all gained a new friendship with the owner!!! My husband and I conversed with George everyday even my daughter if he had to come and fix the tv programming when she pressed the wrong button lol, but George was always very nice, very concerned about us and also very helpful he took a lot of pride in his Motel he was very dedicated in helping people and to getting things just right for his customers. He was always remodeling the rooms that weren’t ready for checkout yet and he often spoke about the room we were in because he had installed some amenities in it that none of the other rooms had. My family and I will always be very grateful and appreciative of George he was a great man and we really do miss him. #RIPGeorge heaven gained an angel with you 😍🙏🏽😇💞

Good price, Quite , clean room nice remodeled updated walk in shower bath.Thank you george esensoy for yourSeven year's of committement to the western inn and trying to give the nice walkin showers n granite counter tops with hi end fixtures n liteing. Thank you for the best bedding &Mattresses so comfortable. the all new thin large screen tvs & satalite.& wifi. & the new ice machine. The new hot water heaters so never without plenty hot water. The new washers &dryers. The all new microwaves n refigerators. The nice remodeled lobby n desk.thank you for doing the best you could & giving your life to giveing others a better room for a low price. You.always wanted to do more for your guests. Some give some but you gave all.your last seven yrs. May all who knew you know you did the best you knew how. Be blessed

The rooms were not well maintained and smelled heavily of smoke. Management was helpful but both options were not truly clean. The last room was in need of renovations. Not worth the $65.00 cost.

Great prices.rooms are very nice. Don't let the looks turn you away. Great staff very friendly and they let me park my Harley under covered parking and kept a close eye on it for me..will stay there each time i am in the area.

I just found out today about the passing of George. My wife and I work for Millennium Satellite and Video. My wife and I installed Dish Network for him in the Western Inn. George was a dear friend to my wife and I. We loved the man. When we would pass the Livingston exit going to other locations, we couldn't help to not think of or speak of him. When he would call our Office or owner he was the same guy as the day we meet. Nice, Gentle, kind Soul. I've never meet anyone myself like him! I pray for his family they will surely miss him as we at our company will.Rest in Peace my wonderful friendTim, Terry, Matt, Jack, Janette, LeeMillennium Satellite & Video

Boy this place smelled like a sock. They wouldn't even let me bring my pet liger in to stay. Front desk guy was a trip though. Boy beat me in beer pong every time. Found someone sleeping in the closet of my room. At least I hope they were just asleep. Shout out to front desk guy. Follow him on IG @frontdeskguy I swear though y'all stay here it's gonna get crazy

Tiny quiet little hotel....the staff was pleasant but didn't bother you ... Definitely NEED transportation though its a walk to nearest ANYTHING and there's NOT much in Livingston!!
