Took a friend to exchange an electric heater that she purchased on 10/31/19 because it had parts missing and the blower didn't work ,she called before going to the store to make them aware of the situation and the store manager got nasty with her telling her she couldn't give her any money back without her receipt,she said she only wanted to exchange it for another one. So upon arriving at Dollar General we entered the store stopped by the service counter, presented the heater and the manager said to my friend go and pick out another one for the same value . Upon arriving at the shelf that we had visited three days ago and several heaters was left,how do I know this,is because I purchased one myself and there were heaters left,now all a sudden the shelf was completely empty except for two fans, Stevie Wonder could see they had intentionally removed those heaters prior to us arriving at the store,so my friend had to bring the heater back home with her all because she had no receipt,and the reason for not having a receipt is because she wasn't given one after making the purchase because,there was a line of customers waiting to be checked out on Halloween and the young man just passed her change, without pulling her receipt,the heater was placed on my buggy and we exited the store.It was wrong for the store manager to remove those heaters like that,no ethics at all.
