Staff is wonderful… very professional and courteous. Corporate and analytics is to blame for the continued that disaster of the store. I literally left over $100 on the table due to carts in aisles, no stock on what I buy… it’s like playing bumper cars with a cart of unboxed product…. This is corporate

for the past few days this place has often put up “self register only” signs. and then when the self register messes up the head manager is nowhere to be found to fix it! this used to be my go to store when i needed something fast, but ever since new management has changed things it has been the worst store i’ve ever been to in general

On 12/10 @ 5:00 pm . A very very rude cashier. She wouldn't look at me, and wouldn't speak to me. They need to get better cashiers because their inventory is good for our community but not that attitude. We are in the south not NYC.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Nice clean store. Sometimes, not always, checkout times are long. During resets aisles can be cluttered with unpacked merchandise, making items in store difficult if not impossible to access.

Staff was nice enough and the bathrooms are clean and don't stink it's great. Do have to get a key from behind the counter. What store has quite a large selection a Dollar General. This store is just about the only place to stop anyting in Lillian. Other than that it's a pretty standard store.

Had to give 1 star to review, but this manager is AWFUL! Nickhole is a loud bully, yelling at ELDERLY people. The most disrespectful thing I have every seen. Tried reporting her, but guess she is the only worker they have 🤷♀️ She is a disgrace

Good store. Friendly staff. Need a small item or two quick and you don't want to drive to Wal-Mart, here's your place. In and out fast. They have most of the basics, in name brand also. So save yourself some time and money and just stop by.

As with all Dollar General stores, it was understaffed. There was unstocked product left in the isles throughout. For small odds and end items, these stores are for sure convenient and pending a line at the register, you can usually get in and out and be on your way fairly quickly.

Ran in for bread, milk and eggs in light of the impending hurricane (Sally) and was expecting little to nothing left behind but found shelves were completely stocked and ready to go! Nice job Dollar General!

Shop at this dollar store all the time. Most of the people there are friendly, the only problem you will run into, is most of the time there is only one cashier, and the line gets backed up. So don't be in a hurry when you go in. Great local store.

The lady behind the counter was just chanting all these things I couldnt underneath. And I swear she was putting a curse on me! I thought I was tripping but my boyfriend heard her as well. The first thing he asked when we walked out was wth was that lady saying.. Like a whole different language! And she didn't stop until she said my total and then she went right back to chanting.. Im just hoping that I hit the lottery instead of breaking a leg or something. Lol. Pretty clean DG tho.

I've been a loyal customer of this store for over 10 years and had always had good experiences until May 30th,2015. On that morning I went to the store to buy a beach umbrella among other things. I found it outside the store. When I entered the store, I asked the cashier the price, since there were no price tags on it or displayed outside. She told me she didn't know. I asked her to find out while I was shopping. I asked her where I could locate some items. She said she didn't know because she had just started on that job 30 minutes earlier. She offered to find out and help me, what she did. When I came back to the cashier to check out, I asked her about the umbrella's price. She said that she still didn't know but she thought it'd be $15.00. She scanned the tag, but nothing came up on the register. She manually entered the price and checked me out. Later on the umbrella came out defective (the fabric came loose from the tip of central rod). In the afternoon, I asked my daughter to came back to the store to return it. She went to another branch, closer to the place where she was. The cashier there said she couldn't make the return since the receipt wasn't showing "an umbrella", but "TOBACCO". She called me and I asked her to go to the branch in Lillian, AL, where I'd purchased it in that morning, and so she did. The cashier there told her the same thing, so she asked to talk to the manager. A man named Allen came and was extremely rude to my daughter. He told her that "no umbrellas were sold in that store on that day". My daughter told him that her father (me) was the one that had purchased it there that morning. He said that I'd never been there that morning and told her to "GET OUT OF THE STORE BECAUSE SHE WAS TRESPASSING, OR ELSE HE'D CALL THE POLICE". My daughter called me, so I immediately went to the store (I live 0.5 miles away). I asked to speak to the manager and explained what happened that morning. He wouldn't take my word and told me that no refund would be made and that I'd never been in that store that day. So, from that point on, I was a LIAR and a CHEATER, trying to cheat the store in $15.00. I told him that I'd paid with my credit card, which proved that I was there. I asked him to check the surveillance cameras' tapes. The time I was in the store was on the receipt so it would be easy for him to check it out. He said he had done that already and that he didn't see me. I told him to watch it again. He told I was telling him that he didn't know how to do his job (I honestly think he doesn't). HE MADE ME AND MY DAUGHTER FEEL LIKE CRAP. Both the manager (who, in my opinion, has very poor customer service skills) and I engaged into an argument. As a matter of truth, he offered to replace the merchandise. I didn't accept because I thought the replacement could be defective as well. He than told me to come back the next morning to talk to the employee who checked me out. I told him that I wasn't coming back and that I just wanted my money back right away. I told him that I wanted to talk to his supervisor. His answer was: "I'm not giving you her home phone number". I asked him to call her himself and let me talk to her. He, than, said he was done with me, turned his back and walked away. After some time, I decided to call the police and, when I had the Sheriff department on the line, Allan came back talking to somebody on his cell phone and, on a hostile tone of voice, said: "I owe you $15.00", and gave me the cash back (without tax, but who cares). I believe he owed me way more than the cash back. He owed me and my daughter an apology, what never happened. I know how hard and costly it is for a company to acquire customers' loyalty. In this case, Allan decided to give it up on a matter of $15.00
