if you purchase Quaker instant Grits at this store, be sure the price on the shelve matches the price at the checkOut.Today they only had one box of Cheddar cheese.They put the 4 kind cheese boxes in place of Cheddar.They price 4.99 as 2.50 for regular Cheddar.I have issues before pn pricing.

Very clean and organized place....but.... yes, the 'but'.....it is a little frustrating (not just once) talking to the younger staff, asking a question about an item and getting that Bevis and Butthead stare and response 🤭 oh man Lol

I liked the variety and size of the market. They have a fresh seafood department which surprised me.Here's the negative I found quite a few things out of code in freezer department, specifically were pot pies and things are. So watch codes.

First time here. Giving 3 stars because there was an awesome lady that spoke to me in produce but when I got the the registers the cashier didn’t speak to me in a greeting or any other word towards me. She was busy talking to another cashier that was on the register in front of her that came to her register and also said she wasn’t bagging for her then said she was kidding and bagged my 3 items. 2 lemons and 1 bottle of honey. I stopped here on the way home from work and I normally shop at major retailers so it was not a good experience and as high as groceries are I want to atleast have a decent experience. Big shout out to the nice lady in produce.

I like going shopping here when I need good fresh fruit and vegetables. I know thus is where people love to go to order cakes. They have the cheese my friend can only get here and they have a deli where my Daddy loves to get the thick cut bologna. My best friend use to go just to get her husband some of the big shrimp and Jerry loves the fudge they have and it is the only place he can find it around here ♡ They also have a lunch bar that I hear has a delicious taco salad on the same day every week. I love my Rogersville food land, but this 1 has seems to have some of everything. :)

They make the best cakes around! Their chicken salad is made fresh and it's wonderful. Love the pharmacy staff and the prices in the pharmacy.Foodland itself has some good deals but a lot of things are way too pricey like dairy products, especially milk.Be sure to check all expiration dates on any foods purchased. They have a history of having outdated products still on the shelves. Lately this seems to have improved though, and if it continues I'll revise my review.Another mark off (in my opinion) for not being able to count on items you normally shop for continuing to be available. The items kept in stock are discontinued (not by the manufacturer, the store just suddenly stops ordering them, or they become unavailable from the warehouse). This can become quite a hassle when you plan your time, shopping and menu around being able to acquire from Foodland the things you normally buy at Foodland, just to find out they're no longer stocked.With the exception of a few people almost all of the staff are friendly & helpful, especially the manager who will order certain products and items for you if you ask. The store is kept clean and well lit, with a comfortable temperature throughout.

The lady that works in the seafood area gave us good advice about buying crawfish. We were going to buy 4 lb. of them but she told us it is cheaper to get the frozen that comes in the same amount. That was very nice of her to tell us something that helped us save a little bit of money. Not a lot of people would help you save money while shopping where they work. We greatly appreciate her kindness. It's hard on people right now with this pandemic going on.

I went in the Foodland and asked the lady at the front register if they had fruit by the foot. She said no they sold it by the pound. May 9th 2022. Today I left my billfold in the buggy at Food land in Killen Al. I called and they said they had it. Phew. Was I relieved. A fellow named Max found it and returned it. I had several credit cards and some money in it. I asked the lady who found it and I gave her some reward money for Max. Max has restored my faith in humanity. Employees like this are a rare gem.

Think twice before visiting this Foodland. Only one employee was wearing their face covering correctly...a very nice young man. The rest were either wearing their mask below the nose or wearing a face shield only. Both ways allow water droplets from the individual to be spread.

I only go here when I absolutely do not want to go to Walmart. They are always too pricey for me. Their milk is almost $2 more than Walmart.

Very nice grocery store. It's modern and upkept. Always very clean and organized. All of the Foodlands are great stores. This is the biggest location I believe. This location has a full bakery and a pharmacy onsite as well as a large deli. Prices are very reasonable. They have started doing 5 for $20 on certain selections in the freezer dept as well as the meat Dept. It is handicap accessible and there are several handicap parking spaces close by the doors and electric scooters available. They also have a change machine inside to convert your saved up coins into bills.

Our hometown grocery store with awesome Pharmacy, Brewer Family Pharmacy!!! There’s no better pharmacy in town!! Mickey Brewer takes care of his customers!!But Foodland continues to raise prices all the time!! They need to be careful, or they’ll loose our business unless absolutely all our business!! IF they continue to raise prices!!!

Used to make special trips to Killen Foodland. Well not anymore. Service is less friendly and the Deli has quit offering smoked butts. I can get fried and rotisserie chicken closer to home. Those smoked butts were one of a kind.

Good clean store. It has most of the grocery items that we need. It's not a low price leader, but we welcome having a good mid market grocery nearby.
