Great prices on meat. One of the last stores on earth that doesn't accept Amex though. They won't let you bring carts outside. Apparently there is a cart bandit in the city of Jemison. They will however bring your groceries out for you. I'm not a fan of that either.

Everyone has always been so friendly. I appreciate the fact that someone will take my groceries to my car if I need them to. Just a small town grocery store with a small town feel.

January 24th I went in the Pig, sat my umbrella by the ice box, shopped for 10 minutes, and my umbrella was gone. A manager had taken it knowing it wasn't theirs. An employee notified the other manager that was in the office and she never bothered to get up and acknowledge that I was even there. The employee apologized before I left. I left very unsatisfied.

This store is so well taken of, and it's truly a pleasure to shop there. The shelves are always fronted to it's not a struggle trying to reach to the back for an item. Their employees are all friendly, several are often working in aisles, pricing or stocking, and they always greet customers. It's also clean and organized. Their meat is good and I found some great deals on ribs and beef today!

Friendly staff that welcomes you upon entering & bags groceries well. The produce section was fresh with a wide variety. The meat section looked good, with quality options. One of my favorite sections is the freezer section with an amazing selection of vegetables, especially numerous varieties of peas & beans. All prices were reasonable. The store itself is clean, organized & stocked well for its size that offers many local goods. This store is my favorite grocery store in Chilton County.

Not a lot of variety and pricey but that's due to the convenience factor. Walmart iceberg lettuce is $1.94. I was shocked to see the Pig had iceberg lettuce for $3.89!

Was pleasantly surprised at the variety of name brand sauces and condiments. Spice aisle was good and I always enjoy the Pick 5/Southeastern Meats choices. The bread aisle was small but adequate. I had heard the prices were higher than normal, maybe a little. But I definitely am glad to have this grocery store so close to home. I will always do my paper products restock and main staple items at Walmart or Sam's, but I will continue to shop here for quick trips, meats and produce.

I grew up shopping in this Pig, and coming back to visit it was a refreshing take on memories I've long held dear.The store is clean, well-stocked, and well-organized. I had no issue finding the things I was going in after.

I’ve notice they pay attention to what people buy and go up on those prices. Also not to long ago a man that works there was following me around the store which is weird cuz I go there all the time.

Well stocked and friendly. They carry your groceries out and load them most of the time. One of my favorite places to shop. Great place to go especially if you don't like the big box stores like me.

I haven't been to piggy wiggly in Jemison in years. I enjoyed my time there today with my mom. Found most everything we were looking for. Liked the prices,and friendliness of the workers. Will definitely go back sooner than later.

This is the only grocery store in Jemison, AL. You have Dollar General and Family Dollar as well close by. Some of the items are ridiculously over priced and this is family owned. I purchased chocolate syrup years back and it was soured but the date was current. It was a Piggly Wiggly brand syrup. I brought it back to exchange and refused bc I didn't have a receipt for the item. I literally drove 10mins to exchange and they refused. The older woman that was there (maybe 50-60yrs) was very rude and had an attitude. I was upset bc my child wanted chocolate milk. After that, I intentionally started going to Walmart. I do shop there but only if I can't get at other stores. There fresh corn on cob is very limited. There hamburger meat is outrageously high. Sometimes it will be reduced bc its not being sold bc its so high. Drinks, Chips (NameBrand) is high and can get it cheaper at Dollar General. Milk is cheaper at DG as well. Sometimes their steaks, ribs, pork will be on sale so can't beat that.

Was not a good visit cashiers today seemed to be bothered by me and my wic order. but how is it my fault you cant get lettuce there with ewic?? Its a vegetable?? Asked to speak with the manager and the young lady said I can call them but they can't do anything about it either ,really? Will not be back

The Piggly Wiggly in Jemison is a quaint little grocery store, located in a somewhat developed shopping center. It's not as big as other locations but is packed with the basic food varieties, decent prices an a very friendly “southern” atmosphere. The employees are for the most part highschool age, always helpful and extremely polite. If you don't need to run to a larger chain store then this is a great place for a quick in and out shopping experience

The lady that owns and runs this store is extremely rude to customers. She thinks that since she has the only grocery store in a 15 mile radius that she's entitled to be able to treat people anyway she wants and take advantage of people. The whole store is extremely overpriced. The produce is not worth buying, it's very rare that you find a decent buy on meats. You are better of driving an 15 extra minutes to Winn-Dixie in Clanton or Lucky's Food Land in Montevallo. Both have a great meat department and Winn-Dixie has great produce. The only time they get my money is if were actually cooking already and we have to have something right then.

I'm sure that this location is great if you live nearby but they didn't have a very good selection of fruits and vegetables and you sure pay for the convenience of it being close to home.

I like the Piggly Wiggly in Jemison they usually have what I'm looking for. Also like the fact that they have local fresh grown vegetables. Their ribeye steak is always good quality. Their prices are fair enough to save me from Walmart as far as grocery shopping goes.

Wow they have some high prices! More than $10 for a small package of pepperoni and a gallon of milk.
