Terrible store! I’m disabled and I actually saw the lady locking the door before I could get up the sidewalk good! I actually needed the supplies I was trying to purchase with my health savings card! Being on a monthly income and getting in a bind before payday will suck this day forward in Jemison! Been here over 10 years and I can’t believe they have these type of inconsiderate people working here now! I called and Robin was on shift saying the close a few minutes early! So I asked before 8:55pm and of course she didn’t see me! I don’t know when DG corporation started letting their employees make the hours!? Then she go say it’s another DG on the other side of the interstate if I could make it there! I barely made it here but it looks like I still wasn’t on time for her polices! Need better help around here asap!

Friendly, clean inside but parking lot could use a cleaning... Fairly well stocked and in appropriate area with prices including sale items/notices easy to see.. also cashier/manager was manning the register and self checkout was working... I did have issue with machine but cashier person in charge was quick to come to aid and correct issue quickly with no hassle because I had proof ready to show... Would recommend any day over any store in Clanton... It is like night and day versus the North Clanton and 2nd avenue (old Fred's or Winn Dixie location) compared to this Jemison location...

Considering there are usually just 2 employees at a DG, they do pretty good with all unloading, stocking, cleaning store---register & closeout . And people like me usually asking where's somethin.

Employees are awesome! They are working hard to keep store clean and stocked. Self checkout is nice to have. I know the employees have so much to do. The reason they don’t have anything on shelf is cause a shortage of truck drives. Employees can only do so much when no one wants to work. Jemison store 8862 is a store you should thank the workers. Not fuss at them.

I didn't rate this place 5 stars. This store, all in Chilton County are so messy. Employees are different every day. I say upper management needs replaced. Always out of sale items. They know you can't get sale items because of having to go on phone. I have tried the app., never been able to get it to work. Needs a LOT OF WORK. UPPER MANAGEMENT.

Quickest way to earn a 1-star review from me is by having inaccurate operational hours. If you say you're open at 7am, then be open at 7am. If not, update your hours on Google.

Love the new store but usually have to do self checkout because there is no cashier and have had issues with it wveey time i uae it. Customer service is only issue i have, but that's big.

Very bad place to shop at the jemison dollar store, the manager Mariah is rude, the employees are very rude. The young girl i encountered today was very rude, her name is Tiffany, the man she was helping in front of me paid for his stuff an he left a bag so she yelled to stop him in store, i was next in line, i pay for my stuff an she hands me 1 bag, my other stuff i paid for she left behind the counter in the bag, i thought she put it all in 1 bag. As i was walking out she did not bother to stop me, she did this on purpose to make me drive all the way back to jemison from thorsby. She is discriminating against me, you respect your elders an you respect your customers. I drove back there an instead of me going to jail for what i really wanted to do... I have her name to report her for discrimination an her manager as well, Mariah. Look.. If you do not like your job, quit!!

clean friendly place nice cheap prices but have to watch out for sell items if its marked 2/1.00 you better buy 2 or they will charge you a lot more for just the 1/2 price.

Unorganized, Cluttered and very slow ....there's never a time I go in DG its not a long line with one cashier!!Don't go in there expecting to run in an out cause you will be upset!!
