I am a door dasher and often shop for my customers at dollar generals. I must say that this is one of the cleanest and most organized dollar generals in jasper and surrounding towns. Keep up the good work. I wish the other locations were as good as this one and the market one in carbon hill.

Store always smells like cat pee. Never stocked. Google says they're open until 11pm & I drove 30 mins to get there & they close at 10pm. Ridiculous.

The manager does sit outside most of the day smoking, she does not allow employees or even family of employees to pick up the trash around the disgusting parking lot, they have never had the shelves stocked or cleaned leaving products in boxes on several carts blocking half of the aisles, the refrigerators are the worst! the milk fridges are caked in layers of old milk dried to the shelves. I bought milk once from there and it went sour in 2 days. management has been made aware . They do not care

Store manager needs a replacement. Lady sits outside for 50% of her shift smoking and store looks like a mess. Always products still in the boxes waiting for evening shift to put it away I assume. If you go at night store tends to look a little better. Not as much smoking for certain.

The employees are fantastic, They are not only fast they are very diligent, clean and attentive; in this area do not worry about looking for a bathroom in the gas stations because they are all closed and dirty and stinky except this dollar general and the employees will help you if you need something.

They are great when u don't feel like going to Walmart. Their prices aren't so great on some things but are excellent for others. Their clothes are always packed too tight. It makes my family not even attempt it!!

The employees are always friendly and helpful to me. I would’ve given five stars but they were out of many items that I came in to purchase. I like this store because of its convenience between my home and work.

It is convenient for my location. There have been times I'd get a bag of chips get them home and find they where about deflated from what looked like a rat had a bite and they'd be stale. Somethings due to Corona have not been it stock at times. You can say that about any place. Over all the girls work hard and they will help you if you need it. I've yet to wait on someone to come to register there is always someone up there for you.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I live in Manchester and everytime I go in this establishment I am reminded why I drive miles out of the way to avoid it! The staff is INCREDIBLY RUDE!!!! They act like they are doing you a favor by showing up to work. Most people will acknowledge a person verbally and respond in some way to a "Good morning" "How are you?" Or "Have a nice day!". Instead these gems will just stare a hole through you while you are standing at the register with noone to check you out while they are stocking shelves 6 feet away. Lazy, inonsiderate, and severely lacking in basic communication and social skills.On another note (this has nothing to do with the employees), the "checkout lines" are not lines at all but rather a giant cluster of people trying to figure out who is next in line because the setup is atrocious. I will continue to go to the DG on Hwy 5, Hwy 78, or the one in Curry. All of these establishments have helpful and friendly employees who won't try and ruin your day.

I can't even rate this store anymore. This store has changed dramatically! From the unstocked shelves to the trash on the floor to the blocked isles. Parking lot is covered in trash.This store is very convenient for me and many of my friends. However, if they do not straighten up with managing this store, I will definitely stop shopping there. I would prefer to go out of my way rather than leave a store completely frustrated!WHAT HAPPENED?????

I used to work as a Merchandiser at a Dollar General and found out, quite surprisingly, that they carry a lot of items that the Walmart chain doesn't. So, I've found a new place to check out for small gifts, even some inspirational.

The Dollar General on 195 is always a mess. It is never stocked properly. The parking lot has garbage all over. There is always a line. I love Dollar General stores but this one needs help!!!

Good place to shop for the week, the day or just for the moment. Different locations around town an outside of town. If you don't want to fight the traffic to get wal-mart.

They are now just a large convenience store with convenience store pricing on most food items and check out speeds almost as slow as Walmarts, due to never having enough cashiers working.

Absolutely nothing I miss the old workers like Keith ally Mandy. Dumb assets shouldn't have ran their best employees out the Danny door. Now everyone there is rude except for the guy who works there he's ok. Others are rude stupid and annoying they don't talk to you they talk at you. Fubar this store.

They have a little bit of everything so you don't have to go to Walmart to get what you need, only issue I usually have is they hardly ever have enough cashiers working, you have to stand in line way too long to be able to check out.

Filthy store. Merchandise pilled in the middle of the floor. Staff incredibly rude and lazy. Will bypass this store even though it is close to my house and go to one further away on highway #5. Wish I could rate it zero stars.

I live in a town with 2 stores and the one stores going to make sure they make tht money the way they look at it they got stuff dollar general don't have pay their price or drive miles to the next town the only thing I seen the store beats the dollar general on are cigs and their 2 liter drinks are 4 for 5 where do got them for a dollar 80

You can get a lot of cheap clothes here but the problem is you have to be careful some some cheap not worth buying because of materials then or with the washcloth should get from Pakistan you got to wash those before you use them cuz there's too much die in there that will poor out into your laundry

I love my local DG, the staff is courteous and knowledgeable about almost everything you ask about. If they don't have the answer, they'll get it for you.
