Don't buy the 2 liter 7up....the 2 liter had an awful plastic taste and there was no expiration date printed on it anywhere. Dollar general has gotten greedy, it shows by their lower quality with higher prices....I'll shop elsewhere at their prices.

Very busy. Store was somewhat clean. Wasnt easy to navigate because of all the inventory on the floor waiting to be stocked. Too much work and not enough employees. These people are extremely under appreciated and under paid. The door is wheelchair accessible although the aisles weren't again due to inventory in the floor (not the fault of the employees. They were doing the best they could) Everyone was very nice, I was greeted as I entered and thanked upon check out. Also, there is a sign posted on the door asking you to wear a mask. I go there often and will continue to because the employees are always so nice.

Convenient location easy to get in & out of parking lot... Employees got more prompt service & glad that D.G. upgraded. I like that D.G. has better selections in food items as well as other household items. If they could get it all displayed & where we the customers can move around the store to shop without having to peek behind carts of inventory needing to be stocked... This store also has great hours...

It's close, most of the time it has what I need. Checking out can be a problem at times. The employee's can be very rude though. There is a couple of them that's polite, but it's rare. One cash register has been torn up for a very long time. It won't take anything but cash and the cashier doesnt warn of this, till she has rung up your merchandise. If you can shop elsewhere I recommend you do. It's just convenient for myself.

This location is one of the original stores before Dollar General started popping up steel buildings all over the landscape. Looks a little dingy because it is so old and because Dollar General stores receive a truck nearly every day and "upper management" refuses to let them hire and staff the store to necessary levels. You can't check out all the customers AND restock the shelves at the same time. It is literally impossible.Good people, mostly good prices. Quick in and out anytime of the day.

There was hardly any room to walk around for carts flooded the store from a stock delivery. I understand how deliveries can be an issue, but surely there can be a better way than crowding out the customers.

Ahh, another Dollar General...I have to say again I was a Merchandiser but I was responsible for 3 Dollar General stores: the one in Jasper (behind Captain D's), the one on Curry Hwy and the one in Manchester. Every store manager that I worked with was excellent...they made a point of getting to know their customers and trained their people to be the same. Like I've stated before, I've found that the Dollar Store chain carries unusual things that can serve as gifts and the selection is different for every store so it's fun going in a different one!

I found some good deals,they were having a sale of 50 percent off on a variety of things. Had to wait for a while at check out because there was quite a bit of customers in line but the cashier was fast and efficient, I was impressed with her.

I love this place I just don't like all the stuff cluttering the walk ways all over the store my friend uses a wheelchair and it was hard to get through I had to move carts of stuff out of his way but good prices😎

I needed milk and cereal. I usually get 1 percent, but the bottom shelf where that milk sits was covered in a layer of slimy water. So, I got two percent, which was on a higher shelf. I thought I'd let the cashier know that it was dirty and that he cooler might need repair. She didn't seem concerned, or say thanks. She was about 50 years old too, so I guess I expected her to care.

Nice clean store. 4 stars because they need to restock more often. And there's always a long line with only 1 register open but 2 or 3 workers in the store.

The store is always untidy and in disarray. The cashiers are very very rude. I am a couponer and every time I go in there I have a hard time, and let's remember I'm not doing anything illegal. Despite this fact, I am treated like I'm trying to shoplift and it's very embarrassing.

They keep this DG stocked pretty well, so much better then the other one that's supposed to be Downtown Jasper also but is really West Jasper that one 8s never stocked and you can not get throttle isles in it even

Aisles were crowded with unworked boxes. The shelves were empty of a lot items. The employee at the register was super friendly and they did appear to be short staffed.

Store is ok, most of the time employees are ok, just depends on who you get as to how your experience goes. But it is like that at a lot of places of businesses. As they say," it only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole bag." You just have to try to not let it count as an all over experience for all of the stores.

The last couple of time I been there they r not stocked with essential items. The cAshiers are more interested in each other rather than the customer.

With my rather quick visit from Tuesday Evening, extremely tired, I didn't realize until I got home and settled that my bag was lite a couple of items, called and they had my items bagged up and waiting, So I went back today.. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'll be back!! 😀
