First time visiting this location I thought it was very large with lots of items to offer. I did find that some of the prices were higher than other American thrift stores that I’ve been to. I did think they had a large selection of DVDs that I was able to find some things I liked and purchase. If you’re in the area I can guarantee you’ll probably find something you’re looking for.

Great selection but I know for a fact that they take the good stuff and sell it on eBay, FB, or other marketplaces. Most of this is heavily used and few products are high quality, plus the prices are ridiculous since they get everything donated and dont pay their workers enough.

I am shocked at how high the prices are on most items. $9 for a used shirt! $21 for a Bissel stick vac! I understand prices have gone up on everything but I will not pay retail price for used items, especially knowing all the inventory is donated. Everyone that was shopping today was complaining about the prices!

Clean and very organized thrift store! One of my favorite places to go because of the comfortable atmosphere and the attentive workers. I once ran almost $4 short and suggested to put an item back but the worker was so sweet she willingly paid for me and just told me to pay it forward in kindness. Absolutely ranks a 10/10 spot for me :)

I’ve been going to this thrift store for years. I call it my retail therapy. I just love taking my time and looking through the different sections. I take my little dog with me and she always receives a lot of attention from shoppers and employees who are always so nice and helpful. I love it when I get a compliment on an outfit I’m wearing and I can say…. I Got it at the thrift store ☺️

To be fare as far as employees go, you get what you pay for. Bottom dollar means bottom of the barrel employees. Their staff just sucks plain and simple. They use ebay to do most of their pricing, exains the over priced items. Their furniture section looks like they dug it up from the dump. They take no pride in anything but trying to rip off the customer.

They were putting out rack after rack of merchandise while I was there. Lots of great deals. All of the employees were super nice. The older lady putting out shoes was a little crabby but I guess we all have our days. I picked up some really cute baby clothes

The prices on clothing is ridiculous considering the items are all donated. A stained up pair of Wal mart jeans are the same prices as a new pair in Wal mart . Just walked out of the Jasper store along with a few others whom was also surprised by the high prices on used donated clothing. No reason a stained up pair of faded glory jeans should cost $12.09. I will no longer donate to this store due to what they are charging people looking for clothing and being ripped off.

I have shopped thrift stores all around the south east and this thrift store in jasper Al is the most ridiculously overpriced store I’ve visited. Clothing Items that were far from new- definitely did not have new tags - are priced at 15.00-24.00!! I’ve been in this store a few different times and the gauged prices have been consistent. I’m shocked that so many people shop here still. I guess because it’s one of the only stores in the area. With these prices you are much better off driving to Birmingham and buying brand new clothes. The furniture section was gross. When I opened the door on a sewing cabinet a huge spider and it’s web was front and center. The other furniture pieces had leaves and cobwebs in them too. No way I would’ve bought anything and put it in my car.

Way over priced. I was excited to find a set of plates like mine. I got mine on sale at Wal-Mart for .50 each marked down from .99 I found at the thrift store the same ones USED for .99 things you find at the dollar tree are 1.99 with the dollar tree tag still on it. You used to be able to find good deals but it is to hard to now. And don't even get me started on the furniture. WAY WAY WAY TO OVER PRICED. What kind of place jacks up the price of blankets when it is freezing out

This used to be one of the best thrift stores around but over the past few yrs it has changed so much. They used to have such a wonderful selection oh home goods like cookware and candles even yard decor, and toys galore. If you are looking for clothes and some pretty decent shoes then you may find a deal or two but not what it used too be.

June 10th 2017. Great place to shop if you don't mind the nasty floors. I live in Arizona and like to stop in when in Town. The store is very dirty and needs a good mopping, Been neglected for some time. I can see the decline from last visit in October 2016. Get employees who can do their job or get a manager to take responsibility.

They had the Work Pants that I was needing ever soo BADLY!! I'm sure I'm not the only one where fitting proves to be very challenging. With brands having different fits> even with same size doesn't mean all brands are a guaranteed fit. But you can't go wrong with America's Thrift Stores.... Amazing Selection on so much and whom wants to spend top dollar on clothes to wear doing choirs or venturing out of doors even!! Go visit just to see what you are missing out on!!

Good selection of secondhand items that is always changing. The store can be messy at times but overall it is decent. Staff is usually nice but now always as they change a lot. Restrooms are decent. Good store for deals but some things can be overpriced as everything is donated.

Trashy is the best way to describe this place. It was so dirty and smelled of cigarettes, and stuff was everywhere. Prices were high on top of everything else. Overall, not a great thrift store experience. Not going back.

Their prices are all over the map. Found a nice vase for $2.99. Looked in housewares and noticed a sad looking meatloaf pan with dents, no non-stick coating, and in all-around bad shape, also for $2.99. The Gardendale location seems to be well-kept and usually has a very good selection. Jasper, not so much.

Their employee Chris W Gunn beat me for asking about the price on something and kicked my puppy. Then he stalked me for a week and went to my grandmas retirement home and threw her off her wheelchair. The manager was in on it too, scary place.

The staff there are very friendly and kind. Like shopping at the american thrift store in jasper Alabama. The managers and associates will help you out with anything you need. Our store is clean and organized by sections. The clothes are organized by sizes.

This place is ridiculously priced. It is a shame!! They act as if it's the Galleria. But of course they have to pay for their rewards program and automated phone service.

I have been in here several timesnover the past few years. My experience today tops all previous visits. The store is neat and well stocked. We found some very good quality mens shirts for almost nothing.
