Dr. Clanton and his staff are amazing! I've had 3 separate experiences with them, one for the surgery of a removal of a kitten's eye I rescued, and 2 of my cats. Dr. Clanton made me feel heard and truly took the time to answer any of my questions, while also educating me in the best treatments for my cats issues. He was so kind to my animals, and I left there feeling as if I finally had a clear treatment plan for my babies on their road to recovery. You have a new loyal client. The did surgery on my cat to amputate a hind leg. He survived the surgery but died a few hours later. They refunded my deposit and took care of the cremation at no cost. I wish I had my cat alive with three legs instead of dead, but they did their best and were very sorry.

Since the horrible emergency clinic on Quintard closed, we have no emergency vet services in this area anymore. So, my dog (Nugget) was gored by an animal while walking in the forest. 2”wide circular gore wound. I could literally see her poor organs. She’s in shock. She’s in pain. I was terrified. These people, which have never seen Nugget, was able to get her in for emergency surgery and on top of that they fixed her abdominal wall and put in drainage tubes. It was done quick and masterfully. I want to thank everyone there for saving my dog. I know she thanks every one of you guys who I owe everything to. They saved my dog and to a large extent my sanity. She means a lot to me and I just couldn’t stand her being in that much pain.

We showed up in a frenzy first thing on a Monday morning. One of our cats had become lethargic & unsteady. Wasn't eating or drinking. Drooling. It looked like poisoning or something. But I don't have that kind of stuff here. I clean with white vinegar, peroxide, baking soda.They calmed us down, ran a comprehensive list of tests. Gave him fluids and steroid shots. They were amazing with him & with us. Thorough. Compassionate. And our bill was half of what I'd expected. I highly recommend this vet.

I’ve only been about three times, and I live close. Every time I have gone it just feels like they’re the money hungry and not pet first type clinic. The reputation from what I’ve heard is that as well. Called to ask some questions and was told that they can’t tell anything until I come in for an appointment.Called another vet for contrast, and they were as friendly as possible and gave me possible options and actually convinced me to come in.If your dog has to be seen and you’re low on money, good luck with this Clinic!

Excellent pet care. Brought my white German shepherd here about a week ago for shots and an ear infection, the infection has cleared up for the most part(medicines still doing its thing.) Friendly staff and super helpful!

Literally have an appointment for another vet at 8.Your website made me spend a lot of time looking at it and feeling like my vet in Atlanta and smiling people and I call and Kayla is the most. Wonderful person. I told her the scenario didn't think they could really get me in today because I drive back and forth from Atlanta and she's scheduled me and was so sweet and I am super excited for our Rufus to have his way that away from home that be you guys thank you so much! My cat got a toy with a string wrapped around and knotted into his paw. He was in extreme pain.The folks at Clanton got him right in and fixed him up perfect. An hour later and our little guy had completely forgotten about his rough morning. Great service with an extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. We will be back!

I rescued a neonatal kitten a week and a half ago from underneath the hood of a SUV at Walmart. The kitten had something serious going on with his leg and we needed him to be seen. We've been looking for a new Veterinarian (for our two dogs and now our kitty) and I did a google search, saw and read the wonderful reviews, called the office and took Grayson that same day. I couldn't be happier with our experience! Thank you so much to Dr. Ryan and staff for being so kind, compassionate, and for going above and beyond to care for our little guy. First time there today. They all were friendly. When the tech came to get my pup to take back she was non threatening and greeted my pup so she had no issues with going back. I would bring my dogs here again. Only issue I had was I was charged $100 more than I was quoted.

I’ve never been to a vet that cares as much as Dr Clanton and his staff.I have used him for everything from newborn kittens to having my oldest most precious queen put to sleep and they treat me with dignity every time. And I have to tell you their prices reflect their care because they do not charge you half what another Animal Hospital in Anniston charges and you don’t get half the care or concern at that said “hospital “

I am so pleased and impressed beyond measure. We just moved to town recently and have been looking for a vet to bring our furbabies to. A family member recommended Clanton and I'm SO glad they did. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ryan, Angie, LVT and the staff. One of our dogs Marley came in for a full work up, blood, vaccines, etc. They addressed our concerns with his health and gave recommendations based on his age and environmental surroundings. Not only were they exceptional in answering my questions and caring for our dog, but they know that financials are important. They gave us options that worked best for us as a family and for our dog. They worked with us every step of the way and made us feel like family. The office was one of the cleanest I've been to, they offer multiple pet products and the staff is very friendly. Marley wanted to go with every person who walked through the door and would whine when they left. He absolutely loved it there. We can't wait to bring our other baby in for his visit. This vet's office worked with me every way possible to ensure that my big dog's visit was nothing but pleasant and simple. Just because we own dogs and mostly do not have dog health insurance, we can never complain about fees and such, but these were as reasonable as seeing a vet gets. I will definitely use them again.

We have been going to this hospital since before it was first built here - over 30 years and many, many of our furry children have passed onto pet heaven and new ones have come. And, always Dr. Clanton, Mary, Pam and the entire staff have always been professional, loving and caring about our pet family. My baby has allergies and she was eating herself up. Took her to another vet and she had 2 shots and meds and it didn't phase it. Took her to Dr. Clanton and he knew exactly what to do. She had quit biting herself the next day! Thank you!

Our 11 year old Pekingnese "Buffy" was seriously ill, suffering from pyrometra. We didn't think she would survive much longer.Dr. Clanton saved her life.She is energetic and playful, like the young pup that we remembered. We have taken all of our fur babies to Clanton Animal Hospital for a very long time and have always been extremely happy with the services they provide. Dr. Clayton, Dr. Ryan, and their entire staff are very professional, kind, caring, and compassionate. Both of these exceptional vets have saved the lives of several of our babies. For those that sadly passed away, everything humanly possible was done for them. Never got to see the vet inspect my dog. Then they said she is diabetic. That's true but they never truly to time to explain things to us. Didn't have time to show us how to check our dogs glucose, ever. They gave us insulin that is better for cats. So they kept increasing her amounts. Still never got it under control. She got sick and started vomiting and it only got worse. We took her an hour away and she had to have IV fluids and antibiotics IV and after her insulin he blood sugar is great.I don't ever plan to take any other animal to Canton Animal Hospital. If I could have given negative stars I would have.
