Service has been great, but they need to tow people for parking in the pickup only parking spots.I'm hoping the service does not start to lack like a lot of places in Irondale.Edit: hot bar was turned off so my chicken poppers and cheese curds were cold.Edit: as I thought, the customer services has already tanked.Edit: now the signs for pickup are gone.

This is THE BEST Publix in Jefferson County. We drive all the way from Oakman just to shop here. The staff are professional, helpful, and courteous; and the store is always clean and organized.Big shout-out to the pharmacy staff as well! Doug is a pleasure to speak with every time.

Great supermarket as usual. Has all the items that you are looking for and more! Deli has a good selection of hot foods and is always clean. The staff is also awesome. Would recommend this Publix over most others in Alabama.

Everything but the deli is pretty good. BUT it always takes a LONG time to get a sandwich, even if I’m the only person in line. I often have to wait for someone to help me bc they are in the other side cleaning equipment and do not seem to see or acknowledge me. Inevitably, they are out of one thing or the other and have to go to the back to get it, which takes forever. I could understand a handful of times, but I go there often and have just about given up on trying to get a sandwich. I did try to order ahead of time and that did not help.

Sent my fiancé by there to grab me a sandwich because I was stuck at work and couldn’t leave. She calls me to tell me they’re out of bread & all they have is rye. How does a deli inside a grocery store that has a bakery run out of bread for their subs? She has to go get the sub bread herself so they’d make the sandwichWe’ve given this deli in particular chance after chance and always come up disappointed. Out of the dozen or so times, not once have we went in there & it gone smoothly with the deli. I’m sure the rest of the store is great but you’re only as strong as your weakest link & that’s this deli.

We loved the new building! I liked the location and arrangement of the produce and meats. It felt very spacious and easy to find items. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. We will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Clean, varied selection of items & produce. Pricey, but to be expected with higher quality items as well as being in a richer area. The deli is fantastic & I love the olive bar.

Really disappointed so far. Managers don’t talk to anyone or help their employees. The deli closes too often and cannot stay stocked. Many employees act like customers aren’t in the store. The cashiers, however, have been a bright spot.

So far the service is excellent. Hopefully the standards remain. The selection of Organic produce for this area and for being in 2023 is unacceptable. Grocery stores should not sell their customers food that poisons their children. Selling strawberries covered in roundup and other toxins and genetically modified is appalling. Do better. We expect to not pay to poison our children. It should all be organic, otherwise you are willingly poisoning your customers.

Would rate this higher but based solely on the past month's experiences, around 85% of the time, I've been unable to purchase one of their teriyaki bowls for lunch around 1p as they're always away on break. One week had 4/5 days during work where they would always be gone and the other employees didn't know how to make one. A little peeved but otherwise the rest of the store meets expectations.

This Publix is more expensive than all the other Publix grocery stores near here. Go to Winn Dixie or Aldi if you want a deal…there are none here.
