I have been at the mini warehouse going on two years there has been a change in management since that time and the office is now smoke-free and filled with security monitors.I always deal with a lady named Judy who is super professional in the way she runs this office. She is understanding and knows most of her tenants my name and unit number. As they come and go they almost seem like family. I would recommend this place to anyone because of the price difference Compared to other places and the security monitors and on site management.

This place is CONSTANTLY being broken into and no one seems to know ANYTHING. If you want to keep your things safe DON'T store them there.

Five Stars! I've rented units several times over about the last twenty-five years and have always had good experiences. I've dealt with three different facility managers during that time and all three were very knowledgeable and helpful. My units were good values for the money and my stuff was safe and secure. I've never had any damage from weather or climate conditions. The main reason I keep coming back is the people who work there are always good to deal with and patient. I highly recommend the Mini Warehouse to others.

I have been at Mini Warehouse for over 12 years. I have had very few issues in the past. Any problem was addressed quickly. The last year or so has been great. New security cameras throughout the property and the new manager is on top of things. She is very professional and polite and seems dedicated to improving things further.

Rent has gone up 15.00 dollars but it has been completely repainted. The entrance key pad has been replaced. And more improvements are in the works

Terrible storage place. You walk into the office and it reeks of cigarette smoke. Got to my reserved unit, I don't remember paying for roaches and mouse feed (Ridex). Now I know every storage place is going to fight bug and mice problems but this was bad. Unit was dirty to boot. Called to cancel. No refunds. Do not recommend, the place down the street is much better.

We went to put some items into our storage facility with an inside entrance. It had been flooded and in a not so distant past. It stained about 4 inches from the floor. It ruined the antique canopy to my 150 year old bed. I was too upset to go look at to much more of it. At no point in time were we even notified of our unit holding water and ruining things, not only were we never told but no attempt at all was extended to take and make anything right. Matter of fact we were still paying every years to store our ruined belongings. It just dont seem legal to me

The following has taken place in February 2016, and today is June 2016 – 3 months later. I learned about the Mini Warehouse in Irondale when I was moving back to Birmingham. Penske said if I rent with them, and pay for one month I will get the second one for free. That much & only that much was true. My plans changed and I arrived in Birmingham two weeks earlier. I called the office and spoke to Betty. I notified her that I was coming to rent the unit. She stated, “The door needs to be fixed.” She called me the next day and said, “The company can’t get here today, but it will be here tomorrow.” I said, “Ok but I need to return my moving truck tomorrow.” She said”,OK then the following day she says , “They can’t come today.” I told her, “I can’t keep the truck any longer”. She said,” Ok move your stuff in, and we’ll fix it afterwards.” They never fixed the door and now it's three months later and still the door is NOT fixed. Not only do I have to prop it open, but when I do, I always get dirty from the door dropping (lots of dirt). I always have to take a shower after I retrieve anything from my unit. The unit also contains ants which is unacceptable. I can’t believe she did not know that about her property. I was never offered a discount or refund or anything at all. In fact, she never brings it up in a conversation. It’s not right that I wasn’t given what was promised to me and get dirty in the process. It’s also funny that she expects the monthly payment like clockwork and my door never got fixed/nor spoken of. I strongly believe that she and/or her managers should correct this situation ASAP and please their customers especially those—like me—who pay on time or early. A company’s reputation and advertising is by customers’ (present or former) word of mouth. I WOULDN’T recommend the Mini Warehouse to anyone—family, friends or strangers, and I will not come back.  The most unpleasant experience and unacceptable service I've ever had

Very nice employees! Just the only thing is need some lights on the second floor there!!! When u trying to walk a fridge up stairs its already hard as *@@k Lol but then no lights makes it a "Final Destination" film!!!! Lol

When I signed up they said 2nd month is free. When time came they sent me a bill for the 2nd month. I called them and they denied saying that. Then they sent me a letter threathening Legal action. So I pulled all my stuff out fast ! Lesson : make sure it's written on the agreement !
