This location advertises that they sell propane. I've attempted on three separate occasions to fill my propane tanks there. Each time the only certified person that can do it is not there. This location has been difficult to sell a product that they advertise. See below for the reply to my review indicating they would like to hear from me. I call customer service and it says please expect long wait times.

Went the other day 4/8/2024 close to closing time , needed a gas shut off. Man at the front desk understood right where i needed to go , so nice , while over at said location the manager approached me and asked if I needed any help and had a wealth of knowledge relating to said part and equipment going onto because parts had been so similar I thought I knew what I needed and he assured also he was 99% sure. Great staff , great attitudes ,would definitely recommend to all

Took my dogs there today because I have a bad back and didn't want to deal with the mess at my own home. The nozzles on the dryers were broken, making it harder to dry the dogs properly. There was only one grooming noose, there should have been one at each tub and table. There were only 3 towels. If two tubs were in use, no hot water.I understand that there Two tubs in that tiny room, but if there are 2+dogs in there, wait your turn. I was a lone adult, trying this for the first time, with my 2 dogs and 3 young kids. Then someone opened the door and held it open. Sorry, close the door before one of my dogs run! Then to have a third party make their way in... seriously? No patience? We weren't even in there long. Maybe 20 minutes from start to finish and would have been quicker if the equipment wasn't broken. My dogs both left, very wet, still. I'm a former dog groomer, I only tried this to save my back and attempt to prevent a huge mess. Never again.

Super friendly staff. Helped us load our carts, and then helped us play tetrus loading everything in our car. So many cool finds!

Customer service is terrible. If you buy something, better return it within 30 days or your are out of luck. So that Christmas gift better not buy well in advance, because they won't take it back or give you store credit or anything. I used to go here fairly often, but not any more.

My family loves Tractor supply and frequents this location often. We buy dog food and bulk wild bird seed here for much cheaper than you can get across the street at Walmart. My family and I recommend Tractor Supply in general and this location hold to the brand very well.

I always love this store, they are welcoming and helpful! They are almost always fully stocked and if there is something you want/need yet can't find, if their store carries it they're willing to order it or get it from another store . They truly are a customer first kinda store!

Workers & the customers in there were so nice & friendly. Great prices on items, especially on the outdoor heater we purchased. We also couldn't pass up the jerky & candy, always a plus.

We purchase the store brand dog food here after comparison against most big name varieties. It's not the top rated options but you can't argue with healthier dogs, less allergic reaction and no ... "resurfacing" shall we say. Our German Shepherds have a nice shiny coat, are weight appropriate, and have more energy. The store team visited with us about their option, answered all our many questions, and never left us feeling pressured to purchase one over the other. It was truly an informative decision that involved all brand options on equal footing. It is a rare thing now-a-days to find a store that, while offering theri own brand, will still give you equal information in literal side by side comparison. They literally pulled the bags out and did a side by side comparison right there. That is how a true company remembers that it's all about the customers needs. And don't get me wrong, I'm all about a company making a profit, but not at the expense and detriment of their patrons. Way to go, Tractor Supply, you get it!

They were sooo fabulous for my order online pick up. My husband totally forgot to pick it up and I wasn't able to get it until right when they close and they waited for me and brought it to my car! 1000/10 recommended!

I have tried to get propane tanks refilled three different times this week. Each time I was told either they didn't have any or no one is trained to do it. I was told this often last year also. It is very clear by the employees demeanor, they simply just don't want to do it.

Our picky little dog didn't want to eat the expensive dry dog food,so we took it back,and the cashier Madison was so nice,and I told her I looked everywhere for the receipt,she credited our account,and when you treat customers this way,we will be back for sure!😊

This review is only for their propane refill. Every time I go, there is not a single person that can do refills. How much time does it take to train someone to do this? You would think it would be an investment to train your employees. And calling to see if someone is available before you go is a pain because they always put you on hold for longer than 5 minutes since they are low on staff….

Worst store and worst employees! We drove 29 miles to get there after calling about getting a bottle of propane filled. . We get to store and employee tells us we have propane but nobody to fill it! I thought you just wanted to know if we had any! The day before that we called to see if anyone could fill our bottle and the girl said you better hurry because we don’t fill after dark?!? This store needs a new manager!!!

This place has all your farm and rural needs. They have a great selection of items for anyone in the family including your pets. There is a great selection of clothing, construction material, tools, home and garden items, farm animal essentials and much more. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Great store.. it’s a joy to have Bob help me every time I come in. They even do curb side . Employees like Bob make it worth me paying a little more that walmart.

I'm exceptionally disappointed! If you're going to advertise that you refill propane then you should make sure that you have the staff to do so! I come to the store to ferry a refill and am told they have no one available until the next day after 1PM. Absolutely unacceptable! Either make sure you have someone there to handle it or put hours on the door since this location is clearly not managed correctly.! And on top of that, the Athen's location's pump is broken so this was my only option. I'm so disappointed and in absolute shock at how these location's are managed. Also, the woman I spoke with gave me an attitude when I was clearly disappointed. Will never, ever come here again.

Staff is nice enough but there's a failure on the end of management to ensure there is an adequate amount of staff on shift. There is literally no point in doing a curbside pickup order when you have to physically go into the store to hunt it down yourself. Don't bother trying to call them, you'll just get a highly unpleasant busy signal

Very little staff, so there's no one to help you find anything. Checking out takes forever and doing a simple return is even worse. It should be easier to shop at a small store, but it isn't. Next time I'll go to Home Depot or Lowes.

This place carries a lot of useful products. We picked up some clothing/shoes for muddy weather, but they have a good sized section for livestock and even sell chicks. We had a bunch of questions that the staff seemed knowledge about, and overall will definitely make a return trip.

The workers try to be helpful but my wife specifically asked for a 100 watt heat lamp bulb and they handed her a 250 watt. I hope they figure out that 120V does not mean 120 watt. Hopefully, it will not be too difficult to get a refund.

We picked up Ashley wood heater yesterday (Saturday) never took off truck, today took box off and the top of the heater was warpedBad! It won't close !!! This thing never got off our truck! Took it back to Madison store, refund it back to card. We want to order another one, but they said the manager wasn't in , that she would call tomorrow. We hope we can order another one and will check it before we leave the store.

If you are going to sell propane at your store you should at least have someone who is capable of filling tanks..I bought a 40 gallon tank at TSC Madison store and have made several trips for a fill and only to be advised that no one is qualified to fill the tank :"today"..

Folks were helpful, found what I needed. One item wasn't priced, and wouldn't scan on the associate's handheld device. When I got to the register I found out why you'd want to hide the price, $35for a metal bucket chicken waterer!

In the Madison AL. Store The manager’s attitude needs improvement. I returned two packages of pine shavings cause they were wet. When doing so the manager questioned my honesty and the amount in the bag, saying two will fill up a big garbage can. I had to open the lawn/leaf bag to show him the two Tractor Supply marked bags. They won’t fill one up when most is still compressed. He said there is suppose to be a sign saying they are wet. Suppose to be, isn’t is. On a second visit I asked him when more fence tensioning devices “Strainrite” would be in stock since I needed ten and the store only had six which I purchased. He said “ I don’t know they send us what they want.” I found the other four at Madison county COOP. He doesn't have a helpful or approachable personality that is required when dealing with the public. He has a smart mouth. I buy a lot of Tractor Supply everyone else and the stock is great.

There are the nicest most, helpful people working at this Tractor Supply store, (Shelia Robert and John.) John first assisted me assisted me while we were there, he took me to the dog food instead of telling me where it is. Sheila then helped me when I locked my keys in the car, then after getting home I realized I left my card there. I called and Robert had found it and put it up for me. This could've been a bad day for me but because Robert John and Sheila were therel, it was saved. Thank you so much.
