While at the self checkout, every terminal needed assistance from the staff, including mine, and staff was nowhere to be found. When she did show up it was apparent she was not very familiar with the equipment.I needed a sheet of plywood cut in half and the elderly gentleman that cut it for me took his time to make sure it did not have ragged edges. I was pleasantly surprised when he followed me out to the parking lot to help me load.

The Home Depot located on South Parkway is my go to hardware store because there are no locally owned hardware stores in South Huntsville. Of course, when I say South Huntsville, having grown up within a couple of miles of the Tennessee River, anything above Haysland Hamilton Square, or whatever they’re calling it now, is North Huntsville to me.The store is always neat, stays well organized, and they carry just about everything I’ve ever needed hardware wise Plus they carry the appliance and power tool brands that I prefer. I have never had a significant issue while getting help from any of the employees. When I have ordered things like custom blinds or appliances, there have been no issues with delivery, or installation when I got lazy and opted for that.I recommend the South Huntsville Home Depot.

My husband & I went in to buy some supplies for a home project & the salesman, Kelly, was super helpful. He gave my husband some good ideas, showed us where to find what we needed & cut us some scrap wood to help in the project.

I was ignored by staff for a while standing in front of them directly in front of the key kiosk.I needed a key made. They weren't interested in stopping their personal conversation. 10/10 won't go again, which sucks because I know several people that work there and used to stop in and check on them. I even knew the people who ignored me, but I have severe anxiety so apparently this place isn't the place to go for assistance.

We purchased a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and washing machine. It was supposed to be delivered on 11/17. The delivery did not happen. Home depot stated they tried to call me. That did not happen. Their tracking system said they attempted to deliver the items. That didn't happen either. When I contacted Home depot as to when it would be delivered the response was "I don't know". I was hung up on by two resolution agents. When I finally got to the supervisor "Chris" he was rude and told me there was no way to get the items before 11/21. We sold and made arrangements for the fridge and stove to be picked up on 11/18 earlier in the week. So all contents of the fridge and freezer were lost.

Very wonderful lady named Kim helped me find a drain snake to unclog my horrible kitchen sink. She gave me very good maintenance advice too. I FIXED the sink btw Kim, I cried a whole lot but I fixed it. Could not have done it without you, you are my hero Kim <3

As a fellow THD associate, it pains me to write this negative review regarding one of my fellow associates at a this store. However, I rented a pressure washer for 4 hours. I received it in less than stellar condition (dirty, rusted, hose partially brown from neglect, pressure washer handle cracked in places due to age, etc.). For reference, my project was pressure washing my grandmother's siding on her house. The distance from the house to the pressue washer was the entire length of the hose to prevent overspray dirtying the machine (roughly 20-25 ish feet). Upon renting the pressure washer, I was not told it needed to be returned full of gasoline or pressure washed to near new condition. Upon return, the tool rental associate attempted to charge me a $25 cleaning fee and a $35 gasoline fee for a few pieces of grass on the wheel, the hose not being rolled the way he rolled it, the handle being on the counter and not on the machine, dirt that he himself had to muscle off with his hand to say I put it there, it not being full with gasoline (although it e=was damn near full since I had to refill it during my job), among others. When I tried to argue this with the manager, she immediately took his side, stating I did it and theres's no way her associate let it leave the store that way. Overall, I have never met a more rude, unfair, and overall unprofessional manager and associate in my life. I will be filing a complaint with corporate regarding their unprofessional, sarcastic, and rude behavior unbecoming of a THD associate. Do not shop here, especially the tool rental. They are unfortunately the rudest employees I have ever met. I am ashamed to post this negative review.

I had they another bad experience here. When I tried to complain to management, I couldn't get through. The store manager was either nowhere to be found (and the service desk hung up on me), or out to lunch, or no one answered the phones. Every single time I shop here, it's a bad experience so I avoid the store like the plague. I only shop here once every few years and only if I have no choice. This time, I am permanently cutting up my Home Depot card. And telling absolutely everyone I know how truly bad this store is.

Online pick-up is a joke. Takes 10x longer than going in the store and getting it yourself. They also overcharged us for a thermocell and they refused to honor their “new low price” that was marked. Terrible customer service, she just argued with me that there was nothing they can do and refused to be helpful. I will not be going back to this location.

The Home Depot is a really good place for Home Remodeling or whatever outside or inside then you're doing but one thing they need to really work on is there parking Arrangement a lot of people park right in front of the Home Depot entrance just to walk in and get up a gallon of paint when other people have to load up their whole truck and wait for these people to get through congregating they need to really work on that

I am a contractor that spends over $25,000.00 per year choosing home Depot over Lowe's. Now I'm going to reconsider shopping here ever again. The lady at service desk was very very rude. First of all of I'm returning $5.00 worth of unopened electrical items to get what I need there should be no issues. Well apparently there is. I didn't have the original receipt so no exchange and she said oh well you can shop somewhere else. I've never treated my customers this way and don't expect to be treated this way. I pay for everything I get from this store and the receipts are at my house filed away. I will have to go home and dig through receipts just to return this stuff. I will keep it now and will find a better place to spend my $25,000.00 per year. Thanks for being idiots and losing a customer over $5.00. Yes Home Depot you won this battle but lost the war. Have fun replacing me.

Best thing about it is the 10% veterans discount. It's always a dice toss whether or not you're can actually find the item you need. I really wish they stocked a greater variety of things.

To start off I drove from TN to pickup a 40v Ryobi Battery operated chainsaw because the store said they had one in stock. I couldn't find it on the shelf so I asked for assistance. After an hour of waiting for them to find it they told me to go to another store. So I drove even further to different store that said they had five in stock. Well after I couldn't find one on the shelf there I asked for assistance again and it took them about 45 min and they finally found one. I went to checkout and save my 10% with mitary ID and it wouldn't ring up with my military ID and then they proceeded to tell me it was on sale as to why it wouldn't work. I showed them on their website it was not on sale and they still didn't believe me. You think at this point they would do an override for me but they refused to do it. I am really disappointed in Home Depot right now. I thought you were better than this. After the thousands of dollars I have spent there you would think I would be treated better than that!

Go in the store with a piece of wood I need color matched. I tell him it's a flat finish. He insist that it is a satin finish. He mixes it up and puts it on the board and you can clearly see it is not flat it is a satin finish. I speak with the manager Ace and he tells me that guy is really good in the paint department and I told him anybody that knows anything about painting can look at that and automatically tell it is a flat finish but he insisted it was a satin.

I spent all day looking for someone who could duplicate my basic car keys (2003). This store had me covered, and the employees were super friendly. We joked around about the quirky machine as we waited. It was a fun experience!

I love their 70% off wood rack; constantly getting great lumber for my projects at an awesome price. And most of the employees are very knowledgable about the products in their departments. It is s bit harder than in times past to get an employee to offer some help without you going to find them. But they do there best to find the right person that can help when you finally find one.

They can't hire enough folks that know anything. It seems like most of the people who work there have never gotten their hands dirty, and they don't know the product they are selling. Lots of the time you ask for help, they read the box; if there isn't a box they tell you what they think, but it is often wrong upon later research. Used to be my first choice because they had knowledgeable employees. Now it's a toss up between Home Depot and the blue place.

Fantastic customer service!I was given great advice for a gift for my grandfather and I was also greeted with smiles and a fantastic attitude! I've never been more satisfied at another Home Depot. This location is the one you want to go to.
