Had a wonderful time visiting Starjumpers Tank yesterday! Absolutely worth the drive from Madison. Got great help finding what I needed and very useful information in response to every question I asked. I was only shopping for plants, but I can’t wait to go back when my new aquarium is ready for its residents! There was a really great selection of pieces for hardscapes. I couldn’t help myself and got a beautiful piece of driftwood, perfect for my tank.I had such a nice time walking around looking at the tanks. It was so refreshing to see such well-cared for animals, some locally bred too! Very cool!! I was so impressed with the shop that I came back with my boyfriend that same day, as soon as he got off work, because I knew he’d love it too.Oh and the dog was a lovely greeter at the door, very sweet!!! I got my daughter four guppies, six otos, and a magenta mystery snail last week. As a person who hates driving it was well worth the hour drive for strong and healthy fish. All of them are doing great!

What a delightful fish store! I stopped in and discovered these ADORABLE red eye balloon tetras. I bought 8 for my 150 gallon discus tank. The Starjumpers Tank owner and staff are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Their fish are healthy and high quality with many species that are locally bred. I highly recommended stopping by and checking out the shop. Huntsville has needed a quality freshwater fish store and this is the place!—-adding a photo of my adorable mystery snail I purchased at this shop. He’s fond of green beans. I’m still loving this wonderful fish store. They just keep getting better.

Very nice owner and a little start up company. Lost of potential with a good variety of fresh water fish. Also able to special order fish to.Lot of potential for this small little store the owner and staff are very nice and professional to each customer.I recommend at least a drive by and see what they got and give them a chance to wow you with the small friendly store.

I stopped by for the first time yesterday. We needed some fish for mine and my daughter's tanks. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, their stock seems very healthy and well cared for. I'm happy we found a local small business to help support. We will definitely go back in the future!

I had been looking for a local fish store to shop at. I hate going to chain stores just to see sick and lethargic fish. My wife and I made the short trip from Harvest to Starjumpers Tank and, well, all the other reviews are spot on. The fish were healthy and well taken care of. I had good conversation with Don, who is very knowledgable. He answered all my questions. I purchased 10 cherry shrimp from him. He had a good selection of fish. He didn't have all the fish I want but something tells me we could work something out. Don will be seeing more of me. As far as fish and fish supplies, I'll go nowhere else. Of course can't leave out Oreo. He greeted us at the door. Very sweet pup.

Just had a wonderful experience visiting this store for the first time! Only wanted to buy a valve for an airline and maybe some food, but I was super stoked to find out they carried a species of catfish I had been eyeing online for years, from the exact same breeder I wanted to buy them from! There was also a bunch of locally bred stock, a big assortment of plants, Aquarium Co-Op products, and hard to find hardscape items. Highly recommend this store for fellow freshwater nerds - definitely worth the drive from Madison. Extra awesome points for a big friendly dog. I will include photos of my new Synodontis pandas in bag and settling into quarantine.

I love that there is finally a new fish store in town! All the fish were healthy and a great selection of fish and plants. I picked up some Banded khuli Loaches I have been looking for, frozen food and did I mention they are an Aquarium Co-Op retail partner!! So I got me some easy green! Thanks so much! I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing store. The fish are very high quality and well kept. They have lots of plants, wood, and stones as-well. The owner is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

My husband and I found this place on a whim and we're so glad we did! Don was amazing and so helpful. He took his time and answered every question we had with patience and humor. He had a lot of inventory of different types of fish and shrimp, so we got everything we came for and then some. So many plants and healthy ones, too! If you're in need of freshwater fish and supplies, this is definitely the place to go! Plus, he has a great coworker, Oreo, who kept my husband company while I decided on which plants to buy. Lol.

Some absolutely beautiful fish in varieties you don't often see in pet stores. Many were full grown fish, which you don't often see either. Dry goods, fish food, and equipment available as well, and the shop dog is so nice!!

Fantastic local aquarium shop - all freshwater, with a TON of live plants (great news for us and our 55 gal planted bank). The owner is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable - he answered a ton of questions I had about neocaridina shrimp since I want to set up a 10 gal shrimp tank. Bonus points for the sweet shop dog. Prices are very reasonable - going to start getting our Seachem liquids here and cancelling our Amazon subscriptions. So glad to have a local aquarium shop now!

This is an excellent store! The biggest thing for me is that a few weeks ago I bought five different plant species and each one is THRIVING for me. The prices for everything are really good and the selections of plants, fish, and supplies are awesome. Plus, the owner is really nice and super knowledgeable about fishkeeping and he's always willing to offer up advice and help.

Great selection of unique fish and invertebrates! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of aquarium ideas staged and maintained. Staging area for his inventory to make sure only the healthiest fish are available for purchase. Highly recommend for freshwater hobbyists.

Great aquarium store. The kid knew his stuff and was very helpful. I have been in the hobby for 20 years and can say don’t waste your time at petco and petsmart go to the local guys. Better selection of fish and much better quality.
