So, I went into Sam's with 10 bucks cash, hoping to get some hot dogs.The screen said $1.38, but the lady said it was $1.50. That strikes me off, but I moved on and didn’t fight her about it.I’m budgeting my money to understand how many hot dogs I can get. I estimated 6 before I arrived and was wondering if I wanted an icee or some chips.She rudely interrupts me and says, “I’m telling you now I don’t have ice cream.”I’m like, “Okay?”She says, “It’s frozen, so.”I’m like, “Okay.”"Well, I want 6 hot dogs." She laughs a bit and says, "6 hot dogs?" and widens her eyes. I’m like, “Yeah, I’m taking them home.” She then says, "Do you want just the hot dogs?" I’m like, “Can I have just the hot dogs? How much is that?” She’s like, “It’s $1.50 regardless.”I’m like, “Well then, I’ll get the drinks too since I’m paying them regardless.” I didn’t know why she’d offer to give me just the hotdogs if she’d charge me the same. She’s like, “$9.03, didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else.” I say, “Can I have chips too?” She’s like, “Okay.” My total is $9.99.She laughs and says, “Barely enough.”I’m like, “No, actually, I’ve been budgeting this all day. It’s just enough. This is my breakfast. I’ve been working and running errands, and I really looked forward to this meal. Believe it or not, the hot dogs are some of my favorites from the café. My parents have been members for years, since I was a kid.” Anyways, I take the penny, and she says, “I was gonna say you were cutting it close.” I say, “No, I was just where I expected to be, hence I only brought 10 bucks. I didn’t expect to go over at all. I knew my budget beforehand.”I grab the penny and my chips, and I walk over to wait. She gives me 3 hot dogs, and I have to wait on the other 6.I’m waiting. She offers me a plate, I’m like, “Thank you.”I eventually get the rest of the hot dogs, and she placed the stack of cups face down, meaning the drinking rim was down.I’m like, “Hey, I need a new cup.” She’s like, “Why?” I say, “Because you put the cup face down. The table is visibly dirty.” She says, “It’s fine,” I guess she assumes because she’s older than me she can just dictate what’s okay and what’s not. At that point, I stop her and say, “No, ma’am, that is not okay, that’s nasty.” I lift the cup to show her red stains on the rim and some sort of crust. At which point, the man working with her takes the cup and exchanges it for me since she wouldn’t.I then go to set my food down to find that the drink area is sticky and dirty, and the area where the straws are is sticky and dirty. I went to grab relish, it was sticky and had leaked relish all in the bucket.Also, She didn’t offer a receipt.Overall, the café was dirty. Every surface, every table, and the lady was highly rude.

Love Sam's! They have great prices and a clean store. I really love their scan and go app where I don't even have to go through a checker or stand in line to scan my own items. I can use my phone scan the items right in my cart, pay with my phone and I am out the door!

I’m 7 months pregnant and I thought ordering pickup would be easier so that I didn't have to lift heavy items or be on my feet for long. Apparently not. It took over 30 minutes for me to receive my order after notifying through the app that I was here. I was legit the only car this evening and no other cars were here. I couldn't call because the pickup department didn't have an option to connect me to the Togo area. All of the other departments didn't answer. After waiting another car pulls up and get thre order less than 5 minutes of being here. Frustrated I waited for the to go person to load his 50+ item and asked politely where was my order because I had been here before him. He replied that the gentlemen always come. At that point I became furious because I was already waiting 30 minutes then I had to wait another 15 minutes for 3 items. The worker on this shift Sunday Feb 18, 2024 at 5-5:30 pm was not friendly and did not seem to care about my time or order as the other customer. He also slammed my trunk. I am very unsatisfied with this visit.

Customer service does not exist at this store, so good luck getting any help. Products are usually bad quality especially lunch meat and produce. It usually bad when you get home. Save yourself the headache and go to Costco instead

My favorite Sam's of the two bc I know where stuff is at. Definitely Love being Sams member and hope for more better deals in future. Definitely place to get gas and groceries. Worth membership fee for convenience. Great customer service and clean store with Fresh Produce

I want to preface that this review is about customer service and not the actual store, it was very nice and organized. We came here around 4pm on a Sunday and it was quiet. Upon getting my receipt checked, we noticed I didn’t scan one item and accidentally scanned another twice. Total mistake so I went to customer service to pay for the item and get the other taken off. No one else was in line so we walked right up but were stopped when the guy working there, Caleb, was on his phone and waves a “no” and “stop” motion at us but says nothing. He continues on his phone with earbuds in and says nothing for another 3 minutes. I would have been more understanding had he been busy, but he was literally just on his phone texting, and the “no” motion made me irate. After a while, again not saying anything, finally motions a “come on”. I explain my mistake and absolutely no words were spoken by him. He returns the extra charge and then goes to another register for me to pay for the other item. I hold it out for him to scan and all he says is “no. membership card.” I’m flustered at this point so I apologize. I proceed to pay and said thank you when handed my receipt. Again he said absolutely nothing. He was the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered anywhere. To wave your hand at a customer “stop” and ignore their existence is insane. Like I said the place was very nice but he ruined it for me. Maybe don’t have this guy as the face of customer service 🤷🏻‍♀️

They should rename “Scan and Go” to “Scan and Stand” in a line 30 people deep for 10 minimum trying to get out the door, only to have them scan you items again. Makes me hate visiting a Sam’s for just a few items. Love the concept, they just can’t execute the idea.

Sam's is a great place to shop if you want to help a multi-billion-dollar company suck money out of towns and cities all over the country to make rich people richer while poor people get poorer. I worked there for almost 20 years, and in that time, I saw one department after another eliminated so the Waltons and the board of directors could take even bigger pieces of the pie for themselves while workers were left out in the cold. My own hard work was rewarded with being forced to choose between losing my full-time status or losing my job altogether while my lazy supervisor, whom every single manager in the club knew wasn't doing her job, got to keep being lazy. And that was just the first time they did it to me. When you shop, you can't find anyone to help you and you can't find a cashier to check you out because the company doesn't want to spend any of its billions to adequately staff its clubs. They don't care how easy or pleasant your shopping experience is or how good of a living their workers make; all they care about is making sure their board of directors gets to buy more mansions.As for this club, 8107, it runs on favoritism, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. The hard workers get to have ever-greater expectations foist upon them while the favorites get to continue slacking off, and the supervisors and managers get to be just as rude and mean as they please in spite of the company's supposed belief in "respect for the individual." The associates are eternally stressed out, not only by unrealistic and superhuman expectations, but by supervisors and managers who are knowingly allowed to bully and harass them. As a result, (trust me on this) workers despise the company and their jobs, their morale is always low, and they are easily discouraged from trying to do even an adequate job.They also spend as little time as possible in training. In my time, I watched a week+ in new cashier training that involved computer courses, videos, and shadowing an experienced cashier dwindle to a single day of computer courses. Because training costs time and money, and the company realized they could save both and therefore make more money by forcing members to stand and wait while associates ask questions and get trained on the job.I once spent months seeing the men's room floor covered in black streaks of pee and dirt because the maintenance workers refused to clean the bathrooms during business hours and insisted on waiting until we closed. And a manager defended the workers! If you've shopped at 8107 before, I wonder how much of other people's pee you tracked home onto your floors.The club manager Jawann is not only rude and mean to his workers (intentionally, he once told me, by the way), but he's incompetent enough to fail to fully read an email and double-check the details before he tells some of his workers that the company is going to give them all two weeks off with pay when that wasn't really happening. I've heard from multiple people that he's developed a reputation around town for being extremely difficult to work for, and as a result, they have a hard time finding people who are willing to work at his club. in my nineteen years at the company, he was the single biggest disappointment, a manager-in-training who seemed nice and caring but was the total opposite as a club manager, a guy who openly relied on intimidation to get things done.Don't do it, just don't. If you walk into Sam's and Costco at the same time on the same day, you will find more workers to take care of you at Costco because that company actually cares about its workers enough to take care of them, give them adequate help, and keep them feeling good, which helps them have a good attitude about taking care of members. Shop at Costco, shop at Target, shop at Kroger or Publix, anywhere but Sam's. Don't reward bad behavior with your business at a place where you're likely to have a bad experience, anyway.Well, look at that, Jawann! You finally got to read something I wrote. How was it?

Loved the deals I found. Nice, well stocked and clean store. Having only 1 cashier was really bad. I don't care to use cc/debit cards, so I have to use a cashier. It'd be nice if they'd install self check outs fir cash transactions.

I will try to make this short and concise.I ordered two items (Keter 230 gallon storage boxes) from Sam’s Club online to be delivered to my home address.The first of two deliveries arrived and I proceeded to assemble the item. I noticed one of the parts was broken, however, I was able to superglue the part to make it useable.A few days later, the second package arrived so I proceeded to assemble it. However again, I found a broken part and one part was missing so I couldn’t assemble it.This is where the frustration begins. I contacted Sam’s Club to see if they could send me the two parts (one broken and one missing) rather than send the whole thing back for an exchange. Obviously this would have been the easy thing to do…but no.After over two hours of phone and chat time with various representatives, Sam’s Club told me that I had to send the whole item back in order to get a replacement.The phone representative stated that a driver would come to my house (with a shipping label) and take the box to return. BTW, this box is almost 6’ by 4’ by 8” and very heavy.They could/would not tell me when they would pick it up or when the replacement box would arrive.A half hour later, I received an email from Sam’s Club stating that I needed to print the attached shipping label and take the box to FedEx for return…not what the first phone representative told me. I don’t even have a vehicle big enough to transport this big box.I called back again to tell the next representative (who was in the Philippines by the way) what had transpired. He stated that he would correct the problem and schedule a pickup of the box. I have yet to receive confirmation that this is the final resolution and will wait (for days probably) to find out if this comes to fruition.Meanwhile I will wait for the replacement box to be delivered and see what happens with my return.Again, it would be so much easier just to send me the replacement broken/ missing parts and be done with it but Sam’s Club would rather waste the time and expense of shipping (trucks, fuel, labor, etc.).In summary, I will never order or shop at Sam’ Cub again. Secondly, their customer service (phone and chat) are very time consuming and I spent over two hours waiting to be the next customer in line.If/when this ever gets sorted out, I will follow-up with the conclusion.In closing, a very bad experience with this major market business and recommend thinking twice before utilizing their services.And the canned response that I’ve seen after reading mine and hundreds of other reviews just confirms that you really don’t care. The law of averages is probably on your side…the fair reviews outweigh the negative ones so you can live with it and let your bot reply to the negative ones.

I ordered my wedding cake here, and I was very impressed with the level of excellent customer service that Tiffany gave me that day. I had a ton of questions, and she patiently answered each one thoroughly. I couldn't decide between the icing colors or which layers were going to be chocolate or white cake, and I felt a little foolish to get so hung up about something so simple, but she reassured me to take my time to decide because my wedding is one of the most important events of my life. That meant a lot to me, and I can't wait to see the cake next weekend when I marry the Love of my life

I submitted a pickup order for between 10:00 and 11:00. I did not receive any notice it was ready for pickup, and when I checked online, it said, "In Process." I did all my other errands, including getting gas at Sam's and arrived at 11:30. It is now one and a half hours after I expected to pick up, and it still says "In Process," so I called the Club. After 5 minutes and 37 seconds of listening to the phone ring (after the intro of push this for that, ...) the call disconnected. (I use pickup because I have a bad hip and don't want to walk the store.) So I called Sam's Customer Service, they couldn't get an answer at the store... Finally, after sitting in the parking lot for 40 minutes, they brought my items to the car. She threw, not placed, threw, my items in the back seat, which didn't hurt the toilet paper or paper towels, but the dinner rolls didn't fare so well. This was Sam's on National Blvd. I have never had a problem with Sam's on Holmes Ave.18 February 2023This time, I went in and used Scan and Go. No problems except for the excessively long line to leave. But of course, with Scan and Go, the only interface required is to leave.12 August 2023Picked up without any problem or unreasonable delay.30 November 2023The "service" desk provided anything but service. I attempted to renew my membership and was unable to because my spouse passed away. The account was originally in my name somewhere over the course of the 30+ years we've had this membership (probably sometime when my spouse renewed) it got changed to their name. I told the customer "service" person, "You made a mistake at some point." To which she replied, "I didn't do anything." I replied, "You are representing Sam's, Sam's made a mistake. Therefore, YOU made a mistake." She then called someone and said, "I need assistance, I am being abused by a customer." (I'm not 100% sure this is a direct quote, but it is very close - it may have been I need a manager, I'm being abused by a customer. )

I can't believe that in the middle of 2023 we are still suffering from racism, I went to Sam's like every customer to buy my products and the lady who served me along with her other employees discriminated against me for being Hispanic, they didn't even want to sell me a product and that's what I'm telling you. With the membership, it had never happened to me that when someone bought a product they asked me for my American passport to prove if I was an American citizen or not to purchase said products. I can't believe that we continue to suffer from racism. I had to tell them that I had a photo of myself. passport on the phone when I was just carrying my identification from the state of Alabama so I could show him that even I am of legal age to buy any product, very sarcastically he tells me I need you to go to your house and bring me the photo of your American passport since your Mexican consular registration identification is of no use to me here because you are not from this country, it should be noted that I have dual citizenship, what is the joke of showing him my American citizenship

I am so sad to say this is by far the worse Sams club. Never can find an employee when there, I called to see if I could order pizzas and I literally had to call four times because employees kept ‘transferring’ then hanging up then was placed on hold for over 30 mins; tried several different extensions AND still never was able to order my pizzas because not even management picked up to help when paged. A total waste of my time.

First the good. The store is clean, well organized and stocked. The door greeters and cashiers I’ve dealt with have all been pleasant.Now the bad. I’ve been to 4 different Sam’s locations (this one included) in the past 6 months. This Sam’s location has the worst cafe. In the last 5 visits they have been out of a lot of items, tables dirty and the line is beyond slow. With 3 people working in the cafe and only 3 people ahead of us who had small orders it shouldn’t take 35 minutes to get a frozen yogurt. This area of the store needs improvement. I know it could be better because the Sam’s cafe in the last city we lived at was usually always stocked with all the options and the line was faster. Even on a busy Saturday it was faster.

I've already tried this laminate, and the 100 percent waterproof one. They are both great products at a terrific price. If you have small children, pets, or someone who likes to move furniture around frequently....I highly recommend it.

Nobody beats Sam's prices on tires...nobody. I compare every time and always come back to Sam's. Got the Michelin Defender LTX M/S, 275/60R20s for my Dodge Ram 1500 for only $995, including tax and full warranty...unbeatable!Flat tire from a nail? They replaced it with a brand new tire!

Large, clean local Sam's club with wide aisles. Somehow much easier to navigate than the Costco in town and much less busy. My main complaint is that the beer selection leaves a lot to be desired and I wish there was a liquor section like Costco has.

The store was dirty. It's all self checkout which sucks when you're doing a big shopping trip. Employees were just standing around talking and texting. The store was well stocked so that's why it's getting 2 stars instead of 1.

The associate named Candi sent an associate home because it was slow and then went to another associate and was laughing about sending her home and how she lied about it and it was her attitude. Kiki was absolutely lovely when I asked her a question so it leads me to believe that Candi may be immature and childish and if this is who you have in management then I understand why the store is understaffed.I will also be reaching out to corporate about this issue because it is not the first time I have noticed that Candi has been demeaning and hostile to the other workers. This behavior is unacceptable.

I initially brought my vehicle to express oil change cuz my vehicle said low tire pressure, and they quoted me 300$ … I had to wait a few days to get that money together, and my dad suggested to check Sam’s first before I did. I went to Sam’s and I told them I need a new tire, no one would’ve had to argue with me, I was ready to drop the money… Tony in the garage at Sam’s fixed my tire in 30 minutes & since I’m a member it was free of charge! Today is a great day and even though Sam’s denied me when I tried to apply cuz they didn’t like that lil pre-employment survey I did, I am now a Sam’s customer for life! A huge thank you to Mr Tony in the garage as well!
