My wife and I had a fantastic experience buying bikes at REI, thanks to the incredible support from Linda, Cole, Chris, and Jeremy. They were not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally helpful throughout our visit. They adjusted our seats to the perfect positions and swiftly resolved a rotary issue with one of the bikes we purchased. Their expertise and customer service really enhanced our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at REI and appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of the team.

Atlas did a phenomenal job finding my whole family the right gear for our upcoming trip! She spent over 2 hours with us and answered all of our questions. She took time to be sure our packs were properly fitted for us and our children, got us the right sleeping bags, and helped us pick out some other things that will make our trip successful. She made sure we knew all the features and how to use everything before making a decision. When we were ready to check out she organized our purchases to take advantage of our membership discounts and coupons. The store selection was great. We did order one pack online so we could get a different color. Atlas handled that for us as well. GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! Great experience at REI. We'll be back.

Had some issues installing a Thule rood rack I recently bought from REI Huntsville. Jonathan and Payton came out to the parking lot, figured out what the issue was quickly, and had me squared away in short order. I really appreciate that kind of service. You won't get that level of expertise and good attitude very often these days.

I wish the store was organized by item rather than brand, but the sales associate I spoke to was very knowledgeable and experienced with the product she was selling. And even though I have a disability, she spoke directly to me rather than my able-bodied husband, not making the assumption that I wouldn’t be, doing outdoor sports like hiking and camping simply because I am blind. The store even has braille and gift cards. The checkout process, price tags, and overall layout isn’t the most accessible in the world, but they get points for even trying.

They fixed my road bike and adjusted everything perfectly. It reignited my true cycling love of dodging cars, rabied pitbulls, and getting yelled at by goateed, sunglassed, Silverado boomers for "not moving over far enough". But in all seriousness this store is wonderful, and I enjoy just walking around inside. I find the prices to be reasonable as the gear they sell is high quality. Theres also attractive women who work there, so theres that. The employees, in every instance, have unfailingly and with utmost immediacy, extended their recognition towards my presence, subsequently providing their invaluable assistance with any inquiries that I could, with a profound degree of contemplation and deliberative thought, ponderously cogitate upon. 5 out of 5, would REI again.

This place is a tale of two stores. You can go in one day and have a great experience and another day you can go in an have the worst experience. It’s almost like all the buttheads are scheduled together and all the great staff are schedule together. Selection and atmosphere are great, but the staff makes or breaks the experience.

Checkout took an unacceptably long time for the PREVIOUS customers. Absolutely nothing was being processed by the cashier. He was simply distracted and it was evident on the customers' faces he was supposed to be checking out.

Great customer service! The store has great quality camping and cold weather gear. Membership for life is $30, and you get good discounts. They do ski tuning and repair, too.

I was in this store for the first time, being really busy for New Year’s Eve!! Unlike other locations, the store was very neat & organized. Being a twenty year now, co-op member I do most shopping on the website. Occasionally I like to look around, perhaps a display or employee recommendation may peak my interest.I must thank employee “Atlas”, for making me aware of an alternative solution to something I was looking for. Unfortunately that item itself was also sold out, considering the holidays. As I started my barrage of questions on the alternative item, she had all the answers. Her recommendation came from personal experience. It’s one thing to just hire employees, but when they have experiences with the items… is golden! I had an excellent first experience here and highly recommend this store. Thanks again “Atlas” for telling me about the Bees Wraps. 👍👍😁🇺🇸

Staff were helpful and they have a nice selection of items! My favorite tip is if you are smaller, you will save so much money getting the large kids clothes that look exactly the same as the adults! Also love the local stickers they carry!

This store is so hit or miss with customer service. Some of the younger staff won't greet you or assist you when it's obvious you need help. For example, standing by the bigger backpacks and waiting for an employee that is standing 3 feet away to acknowledge you. I needed to replace my old Osprey and came in looking for assistance on picking a new one, possibly the Osprey Atmos 65. Zero assistance!!! Fine, Amazon it is and $50 cheaper. I try my best to support brick and mortar stores but support goes both ways.

Great help from great people. Dollar was very knowledgeable on boots. Ben gave us great information about the backpacks, and he gave us great pointers on Philmont. Both men were very patient as we tried on multiple backpacks and boots. On top of it all, they had great in the garage sale at great prices!

Just got my Flat Tire fixed. Amazing, they fixed it right on the spot. Donavan showed how it got flat and suggested I might want to get a new tire because of the way the sidewall was wearing. They had knobby tires on sale for $13 apiece. I got two plus bought an REI membership. My whole bill was $64--which is as much as one tire cost me in my previous repair place--plus Donavan and I had an interesting conversation while I waited. Nice folks--good service. I'm going back to REI off 72 across from Walburgers and Trader Joes.

I'm a member of Rei and The bike shop is great! They're always super friendly. Took my bike in this morning and waited while he checked it. He said it was just a minor adjustment to rear derailleur and took my bike home this morning. Then I finished my 4000 mile goal for 2022 and had no problems with shifting.I'm definitely sticking with Rei for repairs!!

I'm a current REI member. I recently purchased a bike for my son's 5th birthday. Our sales assistant, Linda, unprovoked was able to apply a large savings on our bike due to a sale that had just begun. She didn't have to, but went out of her way to help us. Cole in the department also assisted. They custom adjusted the bike for his fit and made him feel welcomed. It's refreshing to shop somewhere with great (and friendly) customer service. This example is why I'm a lifelong REI shopper. Thanks again for making my son's birthday special!

Everytime I’ve went here to get a pair of shoes the sales person tries to talk me out of buying them. The first time I went in for on clouds they told me I’d hate them and bring them back I have bought 3 pairs since. Some of them are nice I bought the membership and usually even tho they try to talk you out of your purchase they help you any way you can but today I asked for another size in hokas to try on and he prettyMuch told me no I don’t want them and how they’re not running shoes and I said sir I have no intentions of running I like the way they look and he said these aren’t everyday shoes which I understood I just wanted the shoe I got told I didn’t want it so many times I finally just put it back 🙃

If they can't help you right in the moment, they find another staff member to come assist. Great store all in all. A very clean, comfortable environment to shop or parooze in.

I don't usually write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My experience at REI, especially the bike department has been wonderful! The staff created a welcoming environment which made purchasing my new bike (COOP Drt 1.1) quick, painless, and honestly enjoyable. They allow test-rides to ensure you have the perfect bike before going through with a purchase. Then upon finalizing a purchase they do an inspection as well to guarantee there are no issues with the bike when leaving the store.I had to bring the bike back after a few rides because the front gear cable was a little loose causing the bike to not stay in second gear. However, the bike department got it tightened up, shifting smoothly, and it didn't cost a thing.If you are considering getting into biking or really anything related to the outdoors and need equipment. I would highly consider REI. The items sold here are quality and the service is as well. You will not regret it!

I've always known REIs to be high-quality stores, and this one is no exception. We went there for the first time today since they shut down for the virus. They were greatly limiting capacity in the store (which we appreciated), and gave out coupons to those of us who had to wait outside while the capacity inside was at max.When we walked in, multiple employees approached us and asked how we were doing and if we they could help us out. Super friendly.One employee, Brett, spent almost an hour with us helping us pick out the right packs for our needs, making sure they fit well, and giving us tips on how to effectively pack our new weekend bags. He even offered that if we wanted to bring in our gear, he would show us how to affectively pack them. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you're well taken care of.
