If your use to a PX at a larger post you will be sadly disappointed here, it’s pretty small, staff is nice. The guys at the gun counter don’t know much of anything, and their fishing supply is next to nothing. Over all not a bad place at all to shop and save a few bucks in taxes.

Great place to shop, if you are allowed. The people are great. The store is clean. The inventory is strong. They ensure the shelves are stocked. Con -They are a little on the expensive side for what they offer and though the inventory is strong the selection on clothes, shoes, and electronics seems narrow. Not many name brands and the stuff they do have have seems like it was ordered for 36 and up. Ages 15 through 35 has no place here, unless though they have a thing for Carhartt and Underarmour. Overall, it's still a great store, with a great atmosphere. It's kind of like a baby Macy's. Most shoppers go there out of convenience for the great sales, but if they upgraded the selection of brands it'd be 5 star.

Small but nice store with a good selection.But maybe not put someone who is mean, angry, and obviously hates their job working self-checkout? Very snippy and rude interactions with customers.

My only complaint is the boys (kids) clothing section really lacks. Generally, it's for younger boys (maybe up to age 7) pretty sparse for the 8–12-year-olds when I've gone. Love the shoe department for men & women, as well as the adult clothing section. It's always very clean and the latest styles or products on shelves.

I have shopped at exchanges all over the world and unfortunately for me I chose to retire and live near the absolute worst exchange I have ever been to. The staff at this exchange does not care about customer service or satisfaction. I purchased a gun online and had it delivered to the store. I went to pick it up and the gun counter was closed for inventory during normal business hours. I came back a week later and they were doing inventory again and stated they would open in one hour. I returned an hour later and they said it would be 4-5 more minutes. 30 minutes later the manager said they were just finishing up and it would be another 5 minutes. I said that is what they said 30 minutes ago. She looked at the gun counter staff and said "pay no attention to him". That is the manager folks! I had already paid for the gun so I had no choice and waited another 45 minutes to get the gun. On the way home I stopped at two local gun shops and it was $50 cheaper at one and $85 cheaper at the other. It was only a $300 gun so even after tax it was much cheaper at both. Please do yourself a favor and save a headache and money, shop out in town. I will never return to this excahnge.

I worked there up until June 27th, 2023. Until, I was separated “for cause.” But, the truth is, that I was born with autism, and ADHD, and PDD-NOS with OCD tendencies. The GM tried to work with me, and everyone else did too. But, I was treated disparately from Day 1 when I started at the Martin Road location. When the company separated me, after that, I knew that I had to sue the Exchange for breaching my rights under ADA! So, yes! If anyone from this business reads this, I would like to ask that these issues be addressed, including no climate control in either one of the sheds! And, everything else, including no benefits for intermittent employees, which I was in that status. But, that category is being excluded from benefits, which is unethical and wrong! At least MWR practices what they preach as a government agency! The Exchange as a company doesn’t do that at every location, all across the planet! Thanks for reading this!

This exchange is pretty small, and the selection of merchandise is super basic. You would think that with Redstone being home to basically nothing but senior leadership, the Exchange would cater to that crowd with higher-end merchandise... but thats not the case. It is clean and well maintained, but just barely a step above walmart quality products. The electronics section has some nice things, and the gun counter is well stocked... but everything else seems somewhat lacking. The food court is just sad; only Popeyes, Charley's, and Subway.

Absolutely fed up with the arbitrary rules on price matching.!! I have no plans in ever stepping foot into this pathetic retailer. Price gouging veterans. Robbing them blind with a F you for your service..

As far as PX go this is a smaller one. None of the food places were open except Popeyes. They were low in merchandise as well. Most of the men's clothing was S or M. They do have vendors in the hall and clean bathrooms. The sales were not super as compared to outside. Kind of sad after coming from Washington and Okinawa.

It's a PX. There is nothing special about this location. It's probably smaller than most Exchange PX/BX and fewer deals. The employees are kind, and the store is clean. My biggest complaint would be the limited hours of the food court since COVID.

Between the lies of when my TV would be shipped from both the PX and the garbage FragilePak bullcrap they use to ship, no chance Id ever buy online from the PX again. It’s been a month since my TV “shipped” and now the date to schedule delivery has been delayed yet another week. Not to mention you can’t cancel an order. Trash.

Very nice. This one is on the smaller side of medium-sized, but is well stocked with quantity and quality items. Standard Exchange layout for the different departments and contrary to similar civilian establishments, the employees actively seek you out and ask if you need assistance with anything.

This store is not like it use to be. No nice clothing. I see the clothing are ordered for older person in their 60's. Management has always been a reason I DON'T shop there. Management stinks. That's why I quit working there.

Its exactly what you would expect from a military installation ... The staff are very friendly and beyond helpful ... Nothing beats the prices at your local Exchange ... Be fair warned you are required to wear a mask while in this facility.

I will NEVER shop the px or any other on post stores! If you can't wear a mask because of a documented medical condition they will treat you WORSE than a common criminal! Within 1 mins of entering the PX, I was told to put my mask on. I politely showed my id tag stating that I have a medical condition and can not wear a mask. He then immediately got on his walkie and 2 other lady workers asked me where is your mask. I told them the same thing. They didn't look happy as they radioed another worker. I heard other walkies throughout the store talking about me so I decided to leave. On my way out a guy mopping with some really noxious fumes told me I HAD to wear a mask. I said I'm leaving anyway but I DO have a medical exemption. He said it doesn't matter!! SMH!! P.S.- their prices are very high and selection is mediocre at best.

As a 30+ year veteran and former Army brat, I'm offended by this. 'Not sure why AAFES has chosen to support such a small section of folks in the military that goes against Christian values...just because society does.Supporting a society 'popular' decision doesn't make it the right decision.I can tell 'you' for a fact, that just because it's allowed...a large majority of military members do not support this! And we shouldn't have to tell you AAFES, who the majority of your customer base is.Didn't see the sign this year...and we were all Thankful!

Oct 7 2022, went and got it line at the Buger King across from main PX at 13:45 the car ahead of me was waited on at 13:58 , I got to the ordering platform and started my order, then a very disrespectful voice came back and said we close at 2:00. I WAS IN LINE FOR 15 MINUTES UNACCEPTABLE!

I love all the exchanges. It's a fabulous place for military members and their dependents to shop and have the opportunity to find a wide assortment of things they may need or want in one place. Always a go to place if your on the base.

There appears to be something very wrong with the phone system. The message keeps coming up that 'the account hasn't been set up yet' and puts you in a loop back to the operator. So calling is useless.

I have been to many PXs and Redstone has one of the best. It is well organized and the staff is wonderful. I love going there. Its about an hour and a half from me and to go that far to shop it means they have to be exceptional and they are. I could spend all day there.

Trey at the phone department in the power zone is great. He went above and beyond to make me happy with the right phone service for me. He also helped my mother as well with her phone service. My hat is off to you Sir for getting us taken care of the right way after another store screwed up my account.
