Absolutely the rudest employees I think I’ve ever encountered would not stop sighing when we asked to price match their own website prices. And she let it be known without speaking it that I was wasting her time even though I spent well over 100.00 and that’s literally the definition of her job. And after it was all said and done I found it all cheaper at Walmart for exact same merchandise

If I could rate it -5 stars, I would 100% do so. I have shopped at both Petsmarts in Huntsville, Alabama and it seems like at both locations there is this same older female cashier that is always just so rude and makes me as a customer feel like a complete burden. It could be two very different women and they are just around the same age and look similar. OR it’s the same woman going back and forth between locations and she always has a horrible attitude. I have not figured this out yet. BUT I will say that my experience on 4/1/24 at the Carl T Jones location in Huntsville, Alabama was by far the WORST encounter I have had at a Petsmart. In fact I would go so far as to say it was the worst experience at a store in general. The worst part is that it’s not just this one older female cashier that is rude. It’s also the fact that the manager that tried to reach out to my father and I about our experience there that day was also rude and either got our experience totally wrong or was mislead by the cashier as to what REALLY happened. Either way, every time I go in there and it’s the older woman at the cash register, I just want to walk right back out. She is rude, overly sarcastic, and god forbid you try to price match with her. She literally hurried through my entire transaction to avoid having to price match with me. And it was ONE ITEM. 95% of the employees need to take a customer service class or something because it’s just absolutely terrible all the time. As a manager, you should want to resolve the conflict with the customer, rather than talk down to the customer when you were obviously lied to by your employee as to what actually happened. I’m not entirely sure as to what the exact name of the manager was, but it was either a “Cindy” or “Sydney”, the voicemail was not that clear. I normally try to believe the best in people (to a fault really) and I never leave reviews (I believe this might be my second or third review in my entire 29 years of existence), so if that doesn’t tell you that their customer service is terrible, I don’t know what will. The reason I am even leaving this review is because of the fact that the cashier used extreme sarcasm with my father and I when we were there. Like she should win an award for her performance on that, truly. To stop in your tracks after you are already sighing heavily the entire transaction and mad that you’re even having to ring a customer up and then look up at the customer after they apologized for “being such a hassle” and say “oh NO SIR, you are NOT a hassle at all!” And then go back to being rude, that takes the cake. What really pushed me to leave this review was the fact that the manager, taking what the cashier must have told her at face value and leaving a voicemail in regards to our experience that, in a nutshell, all she did was talk down to us and acted like we were stupid. It just didn’t sit right with me. If you’re a manager, you should know better than the cashier. You should have a bit more customer service skill than a cashier. Especially if you know that a review was left about the attitude of the cashier. So when you hear what I experienced with your employee and then you go and basically do the same thing, you are on the same level as the cashier, but you wear the title of a manager. Something is wrong there. Something is wrong with these two locations in general. From what I have noticed, the younger cashiers have been great and the older ones have ZERO customer service skills, are so so so soooo rude and there is no visible reason why they are still employed there. None whatsoever. Please understand, your stores will not get good reviews by being rude, sarcastic, pushing customers through their transactions so you don’t have to do as much work, sighing the entire time, rolling your eyes, etc. You don’t have to be chipper and overly nice and talk about our life stories, but being so rude that you literally make your customers want to turn around and walk out because we are so uncomfortable by your attitude towards us? That is a problem.

I scheduled my Aussie for her second grooming appointment. The first experience was 5 star and I felt confident bringing my girl back here. I am very particular because my dog is very anxious around new people. I booked her for a bath and brush which stated it includes a sanitary trim. The last visit I had scheduled the grooming which I was told I didn’t really need to do because she wasn’t getting an actual cut. Anyway, when I got there and spoke with Brittany she was extremely unfriendly and condescending. She asked if I was getting the bath and brush and I said yes and her bottom trimmed. She said, that’s not included. She said if a groomer had time maybe they could do that. I obviously did not want her fully groomed, she is an Aussie but I did want the sanitary trim which was what I scheduled. Anyway, Brittany’s attitude demonstrated to me that she was uninterested in being helpful and I wasn’t comfortable leaving my dog with her. We left and won’t be back.

Staff were always polite, and the selection of cat scratch boards was entertaining for the whole family. We appreciated the seasonal toys that they would bring out for purchase and affordable peanut butter for the dog.

We were approached by another im woman and her dog without warning or encouragement. Her dog attacked mine and all she said was “sorry he’s a little snippy.” When I asked the manager to remove her and her aggressive dog, the manager told me they they’re required to give all owners and their pets the benefit of the doubt! I contacted their corporate, and they promised to contact me concerning my dogs injury. They never contacted me again, and I still can’t get in contact with them. Don’t take your pets here if you value their health and safety.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a groomer. My dog went for a full wash & haircut and was there for about 4 hours. When I picked him up he had multiple scabs up and down his legs which he didn’t have before he went. He didn’t receive a bath while there I’m guessing all she did was spray some type of spritz because he didn’t smell or even look clean like Danielle had told me either. He had grass still stuck in his hair under his chin it was just unacceptable for the money that was spent. If you want a good experience don’t bother even going to this location they lie and don’t take care of your dogs at all. Also, I don’t understand how you washed him but his face is brown as soon as I pick him up just awful.

The store has a lot of potential, great products, but the return of an open wet food is not refunded (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡ I dare to choose Target better, for they donate the food to the shelter and it shows kindness for the mascots, plus money refund! (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

We've been taking our pup (now 9 months old this month) to PetSmart Jones Valley's Grooming team since June. Her first and only two visits so far have been with Michelle who's done a fantastic job, told us how much she loved our dog (and our dog loved her too), and never voiced any struggles with a pup who's still getting used to grooming. That experience ended today, however. We scheduled today's appointment 6 weeks ago for 12:30pm this afternoon. At 10:30am this morning, we received a phone call asking if we could bring our dog in now. We were confused, because the caller didn't say who they were or why they were calling, but upon further questions, they said their name was Kristen and they are the PetSmart Salon Manager and that they would be "doing our dog" today. Still confused what happened to Michelle, we asked again only for them to initially say Michelle wasn't there until finally elaborating and saying in a very irritable tone that Michelle quit last Thursday. Surprised and not expecting this, we agreed to bringing our dog in earlier (albeit it still ended up only a half hour prior to the original time due to not being ready to bring her in so quick after the call) and put off the abruptness of the call with Kristen. Taking our dog in though, we found that Kristen – in the Salon – seemed to forget they talked to us and asked if we were new to PetSmart grooming and followed it up that a groomer named Karen would be grooming our dog instead. They both seemed to ignore appointment documents where the grooming style that we wanted was listed, asking if we wanted "an inch and a half" off of our dog before we said we want the Goldendoodle style (that Michelle did and specified in records). Despite miscommunication, they seemed to agree and Karen said our dog was the only one she had to do today so she would be done quick and to pick her up before 4:30pm. We left, and at 2pm (two hours later), we receive a call from Karen, who similarly abrupt as Kristen, said our dog was done and her legs were still wet because she was difficult with the blow dryer and they had to use a towel. Both employees seemed impatient on the phone, and in picking our dog up, neither of them were even there (an hour and a half before 4:30pm). A young woman was in the room instead to bring out our dog, and she explained in conversation that our dog was still really damp due to putting her on a table in front of an industrial dryer that she apparently didn't like, and instead of using a hand dryer that we thought they always used, they seemed to barely dry her with a towel before calling her done. We paid 86 dollars for rude and abrupt behavior, an unfinished dog (still wet), and the groomers not even there when we picked her up. After thoroughly looking her over at home as well, the cut they did is uneven, her ears are also wet, there are clumps of long fur on her legs that were completely missed, and her tail is cut short near her butt but is still fluffy the rest of the way up so it looks like a feather duster (picture of it is attached). Very unsatisfied, and now that Michelle is no longer there, we will be taking our dog elsewhere.

Salon is really good. They are skilled pet stylist and they truly love all dogs and care very much about their well being. Very nice and professional. You can find any dog food (just about). Lots of toys and accessories for pets.

First class customer service! I had an issue with a bag of dog food that we bought. I had called 35 min before closing time, to consult what I should do. Not only were they extremely helpful, but also extremely knowledgeable. I was able to get to the store before they closed, with bag of dog food along with the container in which the rest of the dog food was in. After showing them the issue I called about earlier, not only did they assure me that everything was ok and that its normal, they went over and beyond and cleaned the container(s) for my piece of mind and gave me a chance to exchange the food. Thank you all that was working the late shift at this PetSmart on 28 Aug. It is much appreciated!

This petsmart employs the NICEST people!! Our sweet Khloe is about 4 1/2 months old, currently enrolled in the puppy training with Sara, and they are AMAZING. Sara treats Khloe with so much patience and will even stop and interact with her on non-puppy school days. Khloe has received so much positivity from this store! She just had her second ever grooming session (the first was somewhere else) and she was SO nervous, but the groomer didn’t push the blow dryer on her, which I’m glad, so she left a little damp. But she’s short haired so I didn’t mind. All-in-all, this store is super great for your fur-babies and their needs!

Feb/march 2023~💢TURKEY TENDON UPDATE 💢Now after my post my treat is never in stock. And when they do have it in stock I have to drive far for 1 darn bone, cause they limit me. Not doing this anymore. Purchased bone today- drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Ridiculous. Auto-ship you say? I have been able to use it one time in several months because out of stock. Not a happy mama. Pups are highly depressed.Feb/march 2023~💢TURKEY TENDON UPDATE 💢BEEN 6 WEEKS AND OUT OF STOCK DENTLEY'S TURKEY TENDONS.Unfortunately I have 2 Westies that only snack for turkey tendons.What's a mama too do? I wrote PetSmart about the situation, they were no help, they actually are clueless to the whole situation and did not seem to care, blown off.I had real trouble trying to locate turkey tendons for dogs. I had to TURN OFF my Googles tracking/location. Once done, I was able to find products easier.I did not realize that I could have been purchasing USA MADE TURKEY TENDONS this whole time! I don't trust PetSmart, I found a recall on their DENTLEY' products, highly toxic contamination due to how foods were kept. They stored products in used TOXIC CHEMICAL barrels.SANCHO & LOLA'S CLOSET 100% TURKEY TENDON USA MADE!!!! 1~ INGREDIENT ~ With sale price and free shipping, I scored HUGE & ain't bothering with PetSmart anymore!
