Super friendly and clean! Bought a super cute fancy bearded dragon a couple of weeks ago and you can tell she was well taken care of and handled! In my opinion that matters. Easy transition… She adapted very well from store to her new home. The store was well organized and items are easy to find! All in all, great experience!

Definitely not my favorite pet store. The product selection is fine. Small animal selection is fine, if you catch them at a good time (somethings there are none at all (reptiles too.)But my biggest problem is the service. This review is based on multiple visits, and you may well be asking, “If you don’t like it, why do you keep going?”The short answer is: my daughter wants to. She likes the fish, and looking around, dreaming.But every time we come in, there are invariably three to four, sometimes five employees just sitting up at the front station (cashier area) seemingly doing nothing. “Is there anything I can help you with” is accompanied with an eye roll. Not fun.I don’t know how this branch of pet supplies plus isn’t hemorrhaging from over-staffing.

Noooo, I will NEVER buy fish again from here we lost a whole tank of cichlids (12) ($30 plus $ a fish FISHHAVEN) that we've had for over 2yrs and we also lost our flowerhorn (expensive fish) due to there ick issues that seems to happen often.

This store looks amazing since it's remodel! The store is so neat & organized. The manager at this location, Anna, is so kind & helpful. If you're in the Huntsville area and need anything for your pets this is 100% the place to go!

I used to love pet supplies. Gone to this location a couple of times, and this store by far has the most incompetent staff EVER! The girl who was always helpful unfortunately left. I don’t blame her for not wanting to work with a bunch of teenagers on their phones all the time never wanting to work. Will never return.

One of the young ladies that worked, there was a big help to me getting my dog a collar for him. She even helped me put it on him cause I couldn't adjust it. She was very nice this is where I go all the time

Came here due to the fact that midtown was out of crickets and should have just gone to pets smart to get them. Got 50 half of the were dead before we got in the car, informed the lady on her phone at the register and I got another bag to separate them to give them more air to maybe bring them back to life. Front end crew was more concerned with gossiping and playing on phones then attending to the customers. You can definitely tell this location is owned and operated by a different owner than the midtown location and not in a good way. We love pet supplies plus but this location is going to give the brand a bad name in the city of Huntsville and it is unfortunate. We shop at Pet Supplies Plus locations regularly enough to have $50 in rewards stacked and I will never bringy business back to this location. Very unfortunate.

I’ve had “horrible” experiences at other places , this is my second time coming . Very reasonable prices and excellent staff . They do an amazing job , and most importantly my doggy Hans comes back home happy .

Employees are nice and helpful. I loved them when they were Pet Depot. They were very competitively priced.Now, aisles are very narrow (difficult to bring your dog). The mix n match deals are a bit misleading.

i used to work here when it was pet depot. since it’s new branding/ownership it’s constantly employed with a bunch of lazy high schoolers with attitudes that can’t be bothered to do their job.

Love it here, and so does my mini schnauzer. They had what I needed at prices extremely reasonable. They are also close to my home and easy to get to. Only down side is handicap parking, is still a walk to get to the store. Their groomers are fantastic. The animals are handled gently and let her to know the groomer before the bath and trim.

Update:Glad to see the biscuits are back and we have staff that communicates. Prices are higher, but I think we know this is true for anywhere in today's economy. Thank you for excellent service.So sad the new Pet supplies Plus was rather underwhelming. Same food 6 dollars more, the dog biscuits boxes totally empty. 3 employees out of 4 just chatting at the register counter. I felt my presence interrupted their chatter. I hope it picks up again.......2 star because they finally do have Himalayan dog bones, the only upside this evening! Get it together guys. Also do not slap a sales sign on the labels and charge me full price. I hate these stupid rewards programs, where I am forced to give my info.

I have shopped here for two years consistently and use no other pet store. I have bought multiple filters hundreds of fish, a snake, a rat and everything that they needed out of this store for two years. I have never seen the woman who claims to be the general manager before but she was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a retail store, she had an attitude and was a smart Alec, and refused to help me and was very in my face about it. I will never return to the store again unless the blonde tattooed supposed general manager lady is no longer there. I have pet perks and can track all the money I have spent in the store. And everyone else who works there is literally so nice outside of her. She must be miserable

They always have what I'm looking for for my dogs, I don't go anywhere else to get their deer antlers, shampoo, collars, probiotics etc. Today they were having a 50% off sale, needless to say, I spent way too much money, tis the season! They will love their gifts and goodies♥️!

Purchased a 150 watt lamp for my bearded dragon. After a week the lamp went out. They refused to exchange the lamp even though I had a receipt that said they accept all returns with in 30 days. I have contacted their headquarters and was told I would hear back with them by the end of the week. I have heard nothing. There are other pet stores including Pet smart that will let you exchange a bad lamp in 60 days or exchange a lamp if you purchased the wrong lamp.

The three depressive, emo-looking individuals that work here who were huddled around the checkout refusing to even look at you, offer to help, or even give as much as a greeting sum up my experience. Perhaps their conversation amongst themselves was more important than they customers.

Won't be going back to this location. Asked for help and no one seemed like they cared to do their jobs, just sitting down the whole time continuing their conversations. Tried to interact with the cashier for checkout and they had the same nasty attitude & didn't speak just asked for the phone number and rung me out, the kitten spoke more than them.

I love this pet store!! We don't do big box stores.. Unless we have to! Pet depot is friendly, nicer and they care and will help with questions and they gave knowledge!! The staff is always awesome and friendly! We love pet depot! They have pretty much everything you need, that you could get at a big store, very seldom do I find myself not being able to find what I want there. Shop pet depot versus your big retailers!!! Thanks pet depot for being you!¡! ❤️❤️
