Good prices and selection of foods I like. The employees are nice and helpful. You can’t count on a pleasant experience if you have to go to the bathroom though. The floors are better than they were for years, but the toilet seats look stained like something is on them— even when they are clean. Maybe I’m peculiar, I go elsewhere if I have young children with me or already know I will need the bathroom.

Went in Kroger last night, went through self check out. The young lady was on her phone.. There was barley any bags, I had to take bags from the other register to put at the one I was at.. I guess I scanned items to fast so it ended up needing a employee, well I kept waiting, finally she came over talking to somebody on her phone with a ear bud on.. Maybe if she stayed off her phone she could actually do the job she is being paid for..

This store is NASTY! This use to be a descent Kroger and at least clean before they put more Kroger stores in Madison. As always, keep the black side of town looking trifling. My people deserve better. I see a comment about people taking baths in the bathroom, what happened to the security guard?

The frustration of having to self checkout and every single time there’s an issue so you still have to rely on a cashier to assist.It’s a complete waste of time and space. Anything marked down from the bakery or deli has to have an override.I appreciate being able to get decent meat options and fresh vegetables but at times it’s not worth it to pay more for foods that are definitely low quality.

I had an order from instacart and it got mixed up with the weather situation in Huntsville. Sean went above and beyond to make sure I received the groceries. I appreciate his efforts to make sure my family was straight in this severe weather. I appreciate him and his staff!

Awful just awful!!! I had a long drawn out essay written about how bad this place really is but I decided that just "AWFUL" truly encapsulates the message I was trying to convey. Probably the worst grocery store in all of North Alabama! Its most certainly far worse than Walmart and that's saying a lot!! Thumbs down!

Either shut the store down or do better. It’s mid afternoon and the customer service desk was closed! Tried to get out but can’t, because everything is blocked off. If you’re worried about theft, maybe you should hire a security guard who’s not sleep in the electric wheelchairs in front of the freakin store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This store is nasty. Homless people come in the restrooms & take baths. No one at the store will clean them & no one is made to clean them. I called customer service 1800 # & nothing was done. They promised $10 which I will use on gas bc I want shop in this store,but I didn't get that as promised. The bathrooms are still disgusting. Even had an employee tell me he will not clean them bc it's not his job as 10 employees was just standing around doing nothing.

This Kroger location could definitely use some freshening up, but they do have a decent selection and friendly staff so I hope one day the store itself gets the TLC it deserves.

Our friendly Kroger. I have been shopping here with my wife Crystal Harper since 2017. Perfect organicfruits.I had my first Flu shot in the Pharmacy Department 2019 with my Health insurance card.Am in love with their organic fruits especially Bananas. Nice place to be.I always shop here while living at 1312 Grace Street before moving to 2602 Dry Creek Drive Huntsville Alabama. Still continue to shop here before I left.

After shopping here for many months and regularly using my own reusable cooler bags to keep my cold items cold, I was chased down by a security guard and told I was not allowed to use my own bag. He told me the store manager said it wasn't allowed. I don't see any other conclusion than they were accusing me of stealing. I took all the items out of my bag and left. I will not be back.Additionally, there is a poor selection of produce and other items. I also saw a male employee get in a cursing argument with 2 female customers one night because an item got broken. Security had to stop the employee from fighting the 2 older women.That will be the last time I shop there.

I love this kroger! I love the layout and the workers have always been nice to me. only reason i’m rating 4 stars is bc I have found some expired yogurts and cheeses, I just wanted to bring that to attention because I know not everyone sees those and I don’t want anyone to get sick

I have been coming to this store for over 18 years and its always been busy. I have never had a problem. The pharmacy staff are just a delight and show compassion. Sometimes when I get in a line ro buy groceries... I can tell the cashier is in a bad mood. Its a little bothersome but most of the staff are friendly.

If you can't deal with being hassled for change by derelicts or dealing with crazy people in the parking lot, this is not the store for you. A thick skin is definitely required to shop here. They always seem to be out of things as well. I've asked store associates about the items they are perpetually out of and have been told, "We can't get that anymore". Odd, the other Kroger stores I've visited have had the items I've inquired about. I guess even their distributor doesn't like to visit this store. Just go to Publix downtown. You'll have a far better shopping experience.

Today I had a cashier that tried to shortchange me $10 out of the $71 that she's supposed to give me back. Instead of counting back out to me she tried to quickly hand me the money and close her register. Times are hard today so please don't try to swindle somebody.

The store has been rearranged and everything was horrible to find but my cashier Dana was so amazing and kind even though she was scheduled to leave she waited patiently while I tried to figure out what was wrong with my card and kept a very embarrassing situation from being a spectacle. I hope her manager knows what an amazing employee she is. I will never forget her kindness.

What an awful store. Shopped hard and not recovered during the day. Employees are so rude. Like they are doing you a favor allowing us to shop there. Cashier never looked up or spoke. I was certainly a bother to her. Some good sale prices. Other items way too high making up for loss leaders. Not a pleasant experience. On to Publix for me. This Kroger doesn't hold a candle to the ones in Memphis. Worst thing I've experienced since I moved here.

Kroger's has always been my preferred grocery store. I have shopped all of the Krogers' in the Huntsville area for over 20 years. If I have been Costco shopping and then plan to buy perishable I stop at this Kroger. Yes, it is an older store and has a worn out look, but it is clean and well stocked. I also find that the prices at this store are a bit lower overall. Generally, I use self-checkout because I am particular about how my groceries are bagged. I always check the shelves for the 'buy 5 or more and save $5' buys. I was in the store this afternoon and noticed that two of the Kellogg's cereals tagged with buy 5 save 5 price tag. But it was only on mini wheats and corn pops. I thought it was odd but I put one of each in my cart. When I think there may be an issue with a products price, I snap a picture with my phone. Well when I checked out, the total was over by $5. I called the young lady, Dynasti, attending the self-checkout over to correct the problem. She scrolled thru the list on the screen and said I had only bought 3 items that were buy 5 save 5. I said 'no that I had bought 5' and I showed her the snapshot on my phone and she said that was not the price and she would not change it from what the computer had as the price. I told her I expected Kroger to honor the posted price. She flat out told me "NO!" I said "then I will leave the groceries right there and walk out". She replied "Ok fine, you do that! I don't care!" I asked for the manager. When the manager came up, she acknowledge the problem and quickly corrected the price. While the manager was correcting the price, Dynasti was standing there arguing in this female manager's face that she (Dynasti) was right! She was still arguing with the manager in front of the customers in the busy self-checkout area. I have never seen a Kroger employee act/react the way she did. Maybe she was having a bad day (everybody has a bad day every once in awhile), but the way she acted made me wonder if she was mentally unstable. Thankfully, I realize that the large majority of Kroger's employees are respectful and helpful. Wished I had noted the manager's name because she handled the situation well.
