Needed some ice cream for dessert and did a quick search of ice cream near me and viola, Handel’s! So many flavors to choose from I did the 4 flavor sampler and I was impressed! 4 scoops for $5.95, that’s a deal! The quality of the ice cream was some of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! LOL! If I lived nearby then this would be my go to ice cream place!

Ice Cream and Sherbet are divine! The location is perfect! With a walk up window to order, there is some seating in front or in back of Handles. But you might opt to get your cone to go and walk around the park just across the bridge! After reading some of the reviews, I decided to try the 4 Flavor Sampler! Great option, I should have asked for a cone on the side for some crunch. The young lady behind the counter was patient as I tried a few flavors to see what I wanted. I settled on Praline Crunch which was creamy with little pralines and nuts with a ripple of caramel. My second choice was Lemon 🍋—also creamy with a hint of cookie or shortbread. My third option was the June Flavor of the Month, Orange 🍊 Pineapple 🍍 — very creamy with delicious orange flavor and a tropical edge of pineapple. My final selection was a Raspberry Sherbet. This was the best by far, the deep ruby color and the intense raspberry flavor was something I hope to go back and try again! Definitely a place you should consider stopping if you fancy some delicious ice cream!

I recently visited Handel's Ice Cream for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. While our previous favorite was Lappert's in Hawaii, Handel's has quickly earned the top spot on our list of best ice cream shops. The strawberry and blueberry cheesecake flavors we tried were absolutely amazing. The rich and creamy texture paired perfectly with the burst of fruity flavors. Handel's has definitely won our hearts, and we look forward to many more visits in the future. It's a must-visit for any ice cream enthusiast!

Wish they had smaller sizes. My 2yo dropped his 6 dollar ice cream immediately because it was too big, and of course started crying. I then asked for another one to be a lot lot smaller, charged full price for his second ice cream and it really wasn't any smaller. Definitely won't be back. I understand not giving every baby that drops their ice cream a free replacement but a "dropped cone discount" would be nice or something.

Try the 4 scoop sampler for $5.75. The scoops are a little smaller than they used to be but the quality is still excellent. This location has fast and efficient service . The two scoop cup is $4.75. Outdoor Seating is better than the Madison location also.

Handel's Ice Cream tastes amazing! The hardest part is deciding which flavor(s) to have! There is not a drive through option. With the newly constructed bridge leading to Jones Family Park, you can easily go from Handel's to the park to walk off some calories from that treat in a relaxing atmosphere.

I'm impressed. Although they were seriously understaffed today, it was worth the wait. Some of the smoothest creamiest rich ice cream I have ever tasted. And the portions are generous and reasonably priced for what you get.

So excited to have a Handel's that isn't so far away from me. Honestly been wanting to try ANY Handel's for years but never wanted to make the drive all the way out to the Madison-ish location.This new location has young but friendly staff who are working hard to fulfill all the demand. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size of ice cream. They have a couple other confectioneries too (brownie sundaes, frozen bananas, etc).Since we'd just enjoyed a huge dinner, husband and I split a small cup of chocolate peanut butter ripple. It was super rich, very creamy, and exactly what I wanted. Nice balance of peanut butter swirls.Honestly don't have any complaints or notes other than I look forward to coming back and trying many more flavors. :)

Maybe the ice cream is great but I wouldn’t know. I wanted a cone with just one scoop of ice cream and I was told the smallest they sell is with 2.5 scoops and that they wouldn’t give me just one scoop. 😳 How in the world does everyone eat almost 3 scoops of ice cream on a cone in the summer without it being a melty mess? So we decided we didn’t need to try it after all. Come on Handel’s consider those of us that just want a small serving without having to order 3 scoops as a small. I can’t imagine how big the large cone is!!!

Oh my goodness! the BEST ice cream ! Counted over 40 distinctive and creative flavors, and servings are very generous. Try the graham central station flavor if you like the taste of Graham crackers. Mocha almond fudge has a wonderful strong coffee flair. Our new go-to for a treat. Working our way thru the flavors.

Ice cream was delicious and a good serving size. The did seem a little under staffed and it took quite a while to reach the window and place our order. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes good, quality ice cream.

Sad they don't have a menu for small children. My grandson has a dairy allergy and I could only buy an adult size small ($6) for a 18 mo old baby, but you can buy a small scoop for a dog ($2.50). We will just stick with child friendly shops.They were out of chocolate covered bananas took my money and didn't give me a refund. Bust
