The store staff determines prices on many donated items and some of them are extremely overpriced. I think as soon as a staff person see a brand name they stick a high price on the items. I just saw a pair of brown Coach fabric women’s tennis shoes that are ripped for $44.99. Really? Who’s buying Coach tennis shoes anymore. Many items have prices on them that are higher than the original store purchased items. Children ribbon and hair accessories are priced extremely high and placed in a plastic bag. Faded t-shirts and shirts are priced at $3 and up. Worn out regular tennis shoes are high. They lock their 6 dressing rooms and you have to wait until someone find a key. It’s a thrift store that function from donations given by many and they are running it like Macy’s. Used pet items are high. Clothes are high and don’t get me started on the racks of clothes and shoes they priced high and is considered high end and the few purses behind the counter. Now many contributors are seeing and hearing about the HIGH PRICES and are now starting to send donations to Nursing Homes, Shelters and State run facilities, cheap and fair garage sales and that is fine with me. The purpose of the store is to help the community who can’t afford to always pay high prices for basics and to provide training to help employees obtain job skills. The purpose now appear to take from those who can’t afford to go to regular stores and stick high prices upon them and make a profit. Goodwill Stores in my opinion has gone to hell and not meeting it’s purpose/goals for shoppers and those that donate to help others.

This is a BADWILL, not a Goodwill. Just like in Athens the prices are stupid. In some cases they are over retail for very used items. There are many many Great Goodwills, this is not one. Also employees are rude I don't know how they are rated so high. Maybe friends and family ratings

My husband has a temporary apartment in Huntsville and we were able to furnish a lot of it here. Older but very well made items at very low prices. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

A good, clean, thrift store. Mostly has furniture, toys, and clothing. There aren't very many electronics other than flat panel TVs. Everything is well organized, so you can easily find what you are looking for, but don't expect to find many hidden treasures.

Goodwill is to help people that not have enough income but this goodwill is so expensive for pears of shoes all dirty and very bad condition they charge 44.99 Walmart have best price and is brand new what happened with the CEO that not check the stores employees charge wherever they want I don’t going to donate anymore in this place they got for free and they charge to poor people expensive prices this place is not good at all.

The store is a pretty well stocked and neat, but some of their prices are crazy! I heard multiple people complaining saying they could buy the same thing new at Walmart.

I visited at this Goodwill from Florida on Aug 18, 2023. The store was very clean and the associate was very very friendly but I found nothing there that caught my eye. I hyped myself up for nothing. They had a jacket there thatI like but how long are our winters? About 2 months. Once I visit Huntsville again, I’ll go back. I may find something the next time.

As a former long serving old school boot strap Army Officer I am not used to obvious focused monotonic direct indifference and disrespect. When I asked a simple and respectful question about using an item I was met with cold blank eyed sniffy and dismissive attitude by the mid to late 20's counter woman. She cited and recited house rules as if I was some foolish underling who was wasting her time. Just a blank fish eyed stare with minimal explanation. Most of the folks working here are nice and with an up and onward friendly attitude. I am happy to tell everyone I know and meet about trying "other" thrift shops to spend their money.

Been here twice now and I have loved it! Its neatly organized and at least in the womens section I have found some really good clothing items! I found a pair of pants from a brand called Cider who I love and was shocked to find them! Also found a Kendall&Kylie skirt!

Prices are insane. Not sure if it's just this one goodwill or if they are all like this now but good lord you might as well go to a regular store and get merchandise that won't be ruined by bad sticker placement for a few dollars more.

My favorite thrift shop in Huntsville/Madison for clothes and fabric. Several of my favorite outfits and best dresses are from this store! I've rarely left here empty-handed.

Picked up a few spare golf clubs. All clubs with priced listed for $1.99 each3 didn't have prices and they wouldn't sell because no price. Said they would have to go to back to get priced even though they were all sameManager said this is their corporate policy that all items have to go to back and wait 48 hours to be priced. Kind of frustrating as I don't live near this and trying to but something from a non profit and their policies present selling items and giving local management the ability to reasonably fix pricing .

Bad experience Poor management Store is cluttered and many items were damaged or missing parts.A bin of sunglasses were not priced and manager very rudely refused to sell them to me at any price. She told me it would be 48"72 hours before a price could be given to them. That is ridiculous.
