Went to store today to buy trash bags. Purchased them and told teller that they were on sale. He loomed at me and told me to have a good day. I went back and took a picture of the sale sign and showed to him. The manager comes up to me and says "Oh Sweetheart, you need to read the bottom (fine print)." Sale ended on Nov. 4th. Today was Nov. 10th. Sales sign is still up 6 days after sale. It was only a dollar but still they should have honored the sale price. Instead, he tries to tell me the person that removes them is out but tells another employee to go remove the sign. (So classy.) I don't write bad reviews but customer service has gone to H..ll since covid.

The new manager Jess there is horrible! Worked for them for a few weeks and management is horrible. Store is never stocked. Bathrooms is nasty! They don’t clean!!

I go here quite a bit since I live across the street. Today had to grab a few things and I overheard the manager talking to the pretty, dark haired woman (I didn't get her name) about an employee no call no showing... Growing up in retail I know that can ruin a shift, but she still treated every customer with a great attitude and was very professional. Ever since she has started, she has been my favorite employee to see when I go in. Don is lucky to have her at his store.

Upset that they don’t have “Clover Valley Mountain Soda” any more. If I’m not mistaken I don’t think they have any “Clover Valley” sodas anymore. But I want the “Mountain” flavor. And I want it in the 12&24 packs of cans. I will have it out of no container besides cans. Alzheimer's flavor from the aluminum or nothing at all is what I say!!!EDIT: Real talk though please bring back the clover valley canned mountain soda. It was #1

Love that this dollar general has an expanded grocery section! It's very helpful! Store is typically well stocked though sometimes chaotic and messy. The majority of employees are helpful and polite

The elderly woman who manned the register was nice enough, but the parking lot is one of the dirtiest, filthiest lots I have ever seen. Not a good first impression at all.

About every aisle always, I go there every couple of days because it's the closest store to my house, always has hearts with unstocked items waiting to be put on the shelf. They always appear to be short-handed, no one is ever waiting at the register to check you out, and you'll have to walk up and down every single aisle to find the person that is working to get them to come to the register. sometimes it's even easier just to yell out really loud "I'm ready to check out please come up to the register!" Why do I keep going back? Like I mentioned earlier, it's about a mile and a half from my house and the closest other store is about 10 miles away.

Staff is very friendly, pretty knowledgeable about everything. Not much different than your ordinary Dollar General; you get in, and you get out. Have a lot of basic necessities for a lower price! Great overall.

I love this location! The employees are always helpful and friendly. It's the wharf is clean, well-considered to comparison. Should take stand to be a little more tidy, but overall I would recommend this location over many of the others

I love Dollar General! Great if you need to grab something quick or they have great holiday decoration stuff & I get alot of my crafting stuff here!

Cashier was slow as molasses and person in line to check out was shoping. After putting items on check out the cashier wanted the items put like right in in front of her. Always only one check out lane open even if 15 people are waiting to check out. Takes to much time in this store your purchase only a few items. Won't be back. Walmart is faster even though the store is big.

Good place to go in and get things you need for real cheap. I guess that's the price you pay for absolute horrible service. Every single cashier there acts like they are put out by your presence. Just saying, a smile goes a long way.

This is a great dollar store. Seems to have most of anything on website available all the time. Needs more acrylic nail (DIY at home) selections. Everywhere Nail tips for acrylics are sold out. Very osrt bc I've recently in 3 weeks or more have traveled local n far (roughly 1hr & 30mins) away from home to find at the retailed price.

Really like Dollar General. Prices are good and you can find things rather easily. I wish tbe district mgrs. would get the stores more help to stock,etc. Seems hard for them to keep up with it all.

Prejudice and opinionated, but even worse... they have closed 15 min. before stores closing hour. This resulting in my family doing without heat. I desperately needed propane, but lack of morals, ethics I was left to make due with what I had.

Went in to get a pair of rubber gloves and a vinyl tablecloth. I get up the register, and there is a man with NO MASK! I wait at leat 10 minutes, and then he leaves to go to his car and I move up to pay for my items. I ask the cashier, "Why are you allowing this man in the store without a mask?" She says to me,"I can't make anyone wear a mask." I responded,"Oh, yes you can! It is a STATE mandate. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that everyone coming through door has a mask on." I am reporting them to Madison County Department of Public Health on Monday.

This is the most organized dollar store I've ever seen.All items were in place where they said they would be and it wasn't messy on the shelves or in an up roar as most dollar stores are.

Hardly no lighting at night. Take your life in your own hands if you go there after dark from the north. The sign is never turned on and you can't see the store from the hywy.
