Great place to stop by if your looking for fishing and hunting stuffs they’ve got it all. From fishing live bait to different parts of boat or charter boats.Also, some essential clothings for fishing l, camping and hunting.

I have twice come in to purchase new boots for my husband and myself. They have not had what we needed either time in our size, which aren’t unusual (10.5 m 8.5 women). I was willing to try different styles and none of the 3 styles on display had a 10.5 men’s and the women’s only had one style in Keens with a mid upper and not in an 8.5. I am becoming very disappointed that I cannot go in and buy a pair of hiking boots at the store without ordering.

Pitiful management. I show up today ready to drop $800 on a new kayak. I walked inside to ask for help (because the kayaks are locked up outside), there’s a group of 3 employees at the front who don’t know what a kayak is and tell me to ask customer service. Turns out they were just selling credit cards.So go to customer service, that guy doesn’t know who has the key [narrator: the key was on the wall behind him], and says the guy with the key just went to the bathroom, he’ll be right back. I said okay I’ll swing back around.My wife and 3 kids are with me, luckily they’re all well behaved (including my wife) so we stroll towards the fish tank. Upon arrival, some girl tries to sell us on a time share. I told her I do not want a $99 timeshare, I want to spend $800 on a kayak. She’s confused because she’s new to sales but I don’t have time to coach her so we 180 and head back toward the front.The guy with the small bladder still hasn’t returned and the bald guy tries to avoid eye contact. I walk to registers and no one there is helpful. And then walk back to customer service. Finally (30 minutes later) the guy who knows something shows up. Pulls up the kayak I want on his phone, lets me pay and tells the customer service rep the key is on the wall. Super quick and efficient at this point, and he radios for help.We’re all walking outside at this point and I turn around and notice it’s only my family. Strange, but I’ll pull the truck up for easy loading. Pull the truck up, wait for 10 minutes and get the kids a snack. 2 guys carry a kayak from inside to the sidewalk….i ask them what’s that and they said it’s my kayak. I said no it’s not, that kayak is used, its missing the weathertight deck plate, the latch on the storage hatch is broken, the paddle holders were broken and there were no scuppers (zip tied on the others).I told him my kayak was standing up against the wall and he needed to go get the key from behind customer service.I don’t blame the hourly dudes trying to help. This place is just poorly managed. After 45 minutes, trying to off me with a used/returned/damaged kayak is just pitiful. Management needs some training.

It's really great to have a Cabela's here in Huntsville. I don't go there often but when I do it's really impressive. There is a great variety of gear, boats, clothing, cooking supplies, guns, and food... something for everyone!The outside of the store was decorated really nicely for Christmas.

Cabellas has such great customer service!!! We had a return that was a gift, so we didn't have a receipt. No problem. With the tag still on it, they gave us store credit. I will remember that in the future with gift giving.

The cashier seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else and not friendly at all. Let a bad impression and may not return. Only went because I had a gift card.

Great staff all around. Quite attentive and genuinely helpful. Gives great recommendations and suggestions. Wide variety of all things outdoors. They need to do more to market to the residents here as I fear they might leave, for lack of business. Always not busy. Need marketing guys !!! You got great items, with ok prices...just need to let the community you are here and what you offer. Five stars to the guy in the eyeglass section. He had a stutter, like myself, and was able to help us in an impeccable way.

While my wife and 17 month old son were trying to enjoy the aquarium, a person trying to sell a timeshare ruined their time. Solicitation should not be a part of this experience. We are never coming back here again.

Today was my first visit to a Cabela's store despite years of getting catalogs and the occasional order when I was a kid by my parents. I don't know if all stores have designated parking for expectant mothers and young families, but I want to say THANK YOU! With three under 2, I was about to cry when I saw that because it made me feel welcome and not like a bother. You have won a lifelong, generational customer. Thank you Cabela's for seeing and appreciating young families!

Everything you need...and everything you want from Santa too! 🎅🎄☃️Ammo is back down almost to normal, 9mm rounds for only .10 a round...after paying .65 a round just over a year ago.Staff is very friendly and helpful. One staff member approached me today to offer assistance and was able to answer my questions.Scuba diver was cleaning out the huge fish tank today, so the kids enjoyed watching him and the large fish.Vets with Vettes charity car show (co-sponsored by Cabela's) was out front today!😁👍🇺🇸

Very poor customer service at the gun counter. More than enough workers to help those looking for assistance. Those not actively helping someone would not ask who was next. When one of the older workers realized I wasn’t there to buy a gun but wanted assistance with a holster he just looked at me over his glasses and walked away. When I finally got attention the person offered absolutely no assistance with my question. Simply said they had a 90 day return policy.Terrible customer service.Larrys Pawn and Gun is far superior!!

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. Only complaint is they regularly adjust their hours without updating Google so you can drive all the way there only to find a note on the door that says “Sorry, we are closed for….sorry for the inconvenience!”

Where the man cave meets man land! This place is awesome. From camping, to fishing, to boating, to hunting this place has everything. The staff in the firearms department normally seem to be professionals who know their products. Cabelas also offers training classes for those who aren’t familiar with firearms. 😎

After waiting an hour at the gun counter with no one offering assistance; My dad attempted to get an employees attention. In which the man behind the counter raised his voice, basically yelling at my father that he was busy with another customer. Then continued to ignore us. Needless to say. We left and are very unhappy with the service received.

I usually don’t rate business as I understand they can positively and negatively affect a business however find it a bit disappointing that after standing in front of the gun counter for nearly 30-45 min I finally get address by a staff member. You will say well they were busy! Not necessarily they had 5 individuals behind the counter which one-two were helping wrap up other customers while the others were putting up guns as I came in a little late by little late I mean 8pm, they close at 9pm. And the only reason the guy behind the counter helped me was because he was about to put away the guys I was looking at! While I was speaking with the gentleman (which turn out to be a cool guy) another gentleman behind him started stating “You know we are about to close right?” Well yes I know that but had you took the time to let me know before hand rather than have me standing there clearly interested in a product “Hey sir we are wrapping up for the night would only able to show you gun for a short period of time” I would more than like said no problem I will back another day. I understand you’re about to close and would like to go home. Trust me I don’t want to be out and about so late however work happen!Let’s just say I know what I want however I’m going elsewhere to purchase. Figured someone up the chain would like the feedback or who knows it may not lead any where….if you are looking to buy a gun please come with a ton of time because chances are you will need to (if you get attended) Ps I used your queue and still haven’t been called out what’s the point?

Visited Cabela’s Huntsville today Dec 10. Went to the firearm counter witnessed several people waiting for service noticed a sign on the counter to check in for service I did that after a long wait at the firearm counter and continued browsing in the store I was never contacted for service at the firearm counter. During this time I noticed 3 employees waiting on the same person and other customers just walking to the counter without checking in at the check in kiosk. Cabelas you lost a costumer.

Great location! Everything is well organized! I could spend hours at this store!! Not even lying! I went in here for a cooler and some D- Rings - 2 hours later I was leaving the store. Everything is well stocked and the employees were very professional! The organization of it all makes me want Everything in the store 👍. Highly recommend 👌
