The company, and the technician, were responsive and professional. This time of year, in the middle of summer and so hot, they were able to work our pool needs into the schedule within a few days. The technician was able to resolve the issues with our Hayward control panel within minutes, and 1/2 an hour later we were up and running! To say I am happy is an understatement. We have used Anders Pool for several years to open our pool. It has typically cost between $350-$450. This year, we received a bill for $900 - no warning, no explanation, no reason for the massive increase. The bill lists chemicals Anders said it used in the pool but we have no way to knowing if this is correct. Other than 3 bottles of a chemicals left in our trash can, there is no reason to believe these chemicals were used in our pool. There was no schedule for when they would arrive, just show up, walk around and tell me they'd be back in a few days to check on the pool. When we went to the store to pay the bill, the worker agreed he'd be upset, too, if there was such a massive unexplained price hike. I understand prices have increased but the customer should be informed beforehand. We paid the bill but will not use Anders again and will advise others against using them as well.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We had Anders replace a multiport valve and rebuild the header on our community pool. Took five hours at $180/hr and $760 in supplies to complete. Part of that time was the tech driving to and from the shop to get supplies. The actual rebuild and installation took less than an hour. Everything else was travel time and unnecessary troubleshooting/rework of stuff that had already been done (like reinstalling our old pump just in case the new one had a problem). The valve was about right at $310, but the PVC, connectors, and glue were $450! I was told that "PVC is expensive" and "that's just what it costs now". Well, I can get 10 feet of 2" schedule 40 pvc for $22 at Lowe's. The total for supplies should have been about $100. I feel like I got taken for a ride. Won't be calling back unless we're desperate.

Spoke with Jay and he is the bomb!! Didn’t try to sell us stuff we didn’t need. Our pool had gotten mustard algae and we had sought help at another place ( initials J. P. ) and they sold us some chemicals we didn’t need and gave wrong advice. Jay at Anders was very professional and informative. I’ve used Anders pool before and they did a great job. a little more costly than I had expected but a friend knew the owner, so I thought I would support them and use them again. (The bill was around $400. )This year they showed up as they were supposed to, and did open the pool.The pool water was green, but this wasn’t any different than any other time when the pool was opened.They came back to brush and vacuum the pool, all as expected.They returned again to inspect the pool and left saying that it needed to clear up a bit more.I think they actually came out once again , but I’m not sure what they did and they didn’t speak to my wife to say anything was abnormal.The bill was over $900.All I can say is Wow!Sticker shock. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of.I’m sorry, but I’ve got no option. There are other companies that can do this for less.Perhaps I will just do it myself.I was trying to support my friend’s friend.

I've used Anders for several years. I've had 2 liners installed along with a safety cover over the years. They have done a great job every time. They work hard and are always there when they say they'll be there. Also their liners are cheaper than everyone else in town (price not quality). Both liners fit great!!

I have used them for the past year and a half and have had consistently small issues with them. Maybe it’s just my attention to detail, but those details are important to me. Like making sure the screws on my filter assembly on my pump are screwed down all the way so it’s not sucking in air, cross threading the drain on my sand filter and when I tell people at the store about it it takes them two weeks to finally replace it and fix it, when they opened up my pool for the first time this year and started the pump they opened up a access panel on the electric motor side and left it open and didn’t tell me about it leaving it accessible to rain and debris. Two weeks ago I had to replace my pump, just a coincidence. I don’t think so. Between all the details that they don’t pay attention to and the absolute horrible communication between the front Store staff, the staff that clean the pools and the general manager. I could no longer put up with their horrible service. They might be knowledgeable, but all they did was cost me more money.

These guys are great to do business with. I discovered them back in 2019. So far, last year, they replaced my pool liner. They did a first class job. This year, I had them replace my chlorinator. Again, a first class job. I went there to obtain some O-rings, a pressure gauge and a gasket. The staff were brilliant, in getting me alternate options for the seals I needed. Due to Covid-19, there are shortages, in many of the spare parts availability. These guys, always go the extra mile, to satisfy your needs.

They will do a great job and reasonable priced. Two years ago I bought a pool cover because Anders had the best price. This year I needed a new liner and was given a free upgrade to a thicker 27 mil liner. The installation was very profession and went beyond. After removing the old liner, they treated and clean the walls and flooring. In some spots they refloat to level any dips / imperfection in the foundation. They even cleaned and removed the stains on my steps at no extra cost. Btw their price for the new liner was very competitive. I would recommend Ander pools. TG

Last December, we approached Anders Pool Company, to install a new liner in our in-ground swimming pool. In beginning, the staff were extremely polite, courteous , knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. We picked out the pattern we wanted, and paid 50% of the total cost, to cover the price of manufacturing the liner which, was very reasonable indeed. Steve came out in late December, to take the measurements of the pool, to pass onto the liner manufacturer. We then agreed to call Anders Pool, early March, to set a date to install the liner. I called Anders Pool, March 9th, and spoke with Steve, and set the date to install the new liner on Wednesday, March 27th. Steve touched base with me, a few days before the install date, to make sure we were good to go. Chris and two other staff, arrived early Wednesday, and drained the pool with a gas pump. They removed the old liner, thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, cleaned, the pool walls and floors, smoothed over the pool floor and installed the new liner without any issues at all. Then, they set up a vacuum pump and a set a vacuum hose between the pool wall and the pool liner, to suck the trapped air out as we filled the pool from the faucet. The Anders pool liner installers, were extremely Professional and polite throughout the entire operation. They did a fantastic job, far, far, better than their local competition, that I'd used for the two previous liners, over the past 30 years. This liner fits snuggly up against the 4 ft. radius walls of the pool. Anders Pool, took the time, to accurately measure the pools dimensions. The previous pool company, when measuring up, rounded down the measurements, to get an even number. Which, resulted in a poor fitting liner. If you need a new pool liner, make sure you get a quote from Anders Pool Company. Trust me, they'll get you the best price and, the best quality liner, and the best possible installation. This company is well worth my 5 star rating.

I've used Anders for years for everything from maintenance to liner replacement. I have a sand bottom pool which can be challenging and wouldn't consider going with anyone else. Recently had a liner, filter and motor replaced and they kept to their schedule, were friendly and professional and answered every question I asked.
