I've been a customer at this location since it opened. Staff is always nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the store is congested with carts of products to be stocked. Not sure how much space is in stock room, but I feel it would be better to leave it all back there and only one cart at a time be brought out.

This area has really NEEDED this store.Prices are great, employees are very friendly and helpful.Haven't had one bad experience here. Also, if they dont have something you need, just tell the cashier or manager and they will start stocking the item(s)Overall, the best Dollar General in the Bessemer/ Hueytown area.

Things were a little messy and one of the girls working Sun night on 4/1 was cursing and joking about how she hadn't worked at all that day. She was literally outside hollaring in the parking a lot and playing around about how she would probably be in trouble for not doing "a thing since she's been there" and things weren't a total mess but the store could've definitely used a good organizing.

Store isle not easy to walk through, they had tables of merchandise set up in front of existing shelf display for gift cards, I had to move table to get to gift cards. There was trash(boxes, plastic wrap etc.) On floor. Cashier was talking to her friend on the phone the whole time she was ringing me up.

Really like this place. Very convenient. But might want to put the right hours on here or tell the employees. Last weekend I went here to get a bday card & to look around. Thank god I got there early because I wasn't in there a min & the employee let everyone know inside that it was 2 mins to close. Was confused because like it says on here, it closes @ 10:00 pm. I thought that I had plenty of time but I guess not because they closed at 9 pm.

They have a little of everything and you can find one on every corner in town so what they mean by Dollar store is that they are convenient.... as in ....itakes a dollar in gas to get there... convenient! There prices aren't really dollar store material. Everything is not a dollar. No you cant price match your item from the dollar tree. Bye Felisha.

It’s a clean store with walkable aisles. The people who work at this location are quite nice and I’ve never been there when the line took too long, so they do a good job getting customers through.

The store is clean,employees r very helpful and polite.this store is less than 2 miles from my home, this branch is always well stocked with products that my family uses.we feel as though this stores employees r part of our family so much so that while my husband was on vacation he would go every nite around closing time to make sure the employees were watched after & made sure they felt safe with a police officer there for them we love the convenience of this location and this has become our 1st Choice of stores to go to. Great alternative for those wanting to avoid Wal-Mart. Isles are small and they generally ha e what you are looking for. Prices are ok. You will not ha e that big of a selection of different items though. Some are extremely limites.
