Travel from up state and had been driving for over 5 hours when we decided to make a pit stop. First off Saveway was chosen for its proximity then I guess you could call it, it's demeanor. Clean, safe looking, and on a quick mental assessment that it could serve sll of our needs. Employees were polite, neat, interacted well with customers but as I ascertained overworked. Could of used another register and coworker to ease the stress and pressure off of just the one young lady.Overall pleasant experience. Wide section of food, snacks and beverages. More than your typical gas station/convenience store. Clean and bathroom smelled quite good to most I've experienced.4½ out of 5.

Easy access and right off highway. Clean restrooms and plenty of snacks for you if your needing a quick fix. In and out very fast attendant was kind and extremely polite.

Ordered four pizzas and was told a pickup time, then I arrive 5 min after pickup time and still had to wait 30 min. Plus the store is absolutely filthy. Hunt brother pizza is the only reason it gets 2 stars

Used to be my favourite place on the I-65 in Alabama. Not anymore. Apparently, they're under new ownership. The food prices have increased sharply and they now charge for parking. All parking.This will be the last time I come here unless I have to. Sad.

This is the second time I visited. Sadly my second experience was unlike the first. My first visit was overnight. The cashier was super helpful, welcoming and pleasant. This morning's let just say poor. If poor attitude and rudeness had a face, she'd be it. Definitely will never gas up there again because I'm not trying to go to jail. If you don't like what you do...time to change jobs. Her unhappiness shows.

Cashier was HATEFUL. Came inside because pump said pay cashier before it would pump gas. She was rude and told me someone was trying a different card and she couldn't do anything to help me. I told her I had the card in my hand. She raised her voice and rolled her eyes and said" I told you I can't do anything when someone is trying another card!" So I went outside and my fiancé was standing at the car. Hadn't used another car then all of a sudden the pump reset. What a coincidence...Lol

Parked here last night... pretty quiet but does have cars parked in some spots.. parking is okay... but the store clerk decided to charge me for his homeboy drink when I checked out... didn't offer me my receipt so I asked and see 3 charges.. I only had two items.. his homeboy walks up holding the item I was just charged and the cashier gonna say to him.. hey, imma have to run your card again ..lol what a joke!

Stopped for gas July 24, 2021. The place was filthy. The women’s restroom was disgusting. Prices for snacks were outrageous. That does not bother me, I do not have to purchases snacks. Dirty surroundings is another thing. I will never stop here again.

But the best thing about here is the Mexican restaurant next door. That place is amazing. I got my food like 2 minutes after I ordered. And it was amazing. The tamales are a real treat too!

The cashier needs a new attitude or a new job. She can visit with her friend when she gets off not while I'm trying to check out. I found her very RUDE!! The bathroom was acceptable, as far as being clean.

One of my favorite truck stops to go to. You headed down 65 South towards Mobile its a must you stop here. Had everything you could possibly need for a road trip or if you want to grab a wick bite to eat. It's very busy but I can't take away points when you popping.

We were broke down in our class c RV for 2 days in the parking lot here. Very nice people. Large lot. Overnight parking allowed. Not as loud as big truck stops. Small grass areas to walk dogs. The pizza is pretty good too.

Gas prices, ok. Bathrooms were ok on cleanliness, but no toilet paper( luckily I carry something) but No hand Soap is the reason I marked down lower. The two employees, two women, very friendly definitely an asset. But with two employees, someone needs to check the restrooms or maybe there was no supplies..? Then soap should be put out from a store, but soap for hand washing and paper for tail wiping ( not in that order) should be available to an " open" restroom.

Super Rude employees, attitudes could be way better. sells expired product and won’t let you exchange or return because you walked to the pump with it. Sick.

Cashier was very pleasant & friendly. Clean bathroom! We do have different opinions about the hand dryer; I like it very much, my riding companion prefers paper towel option. It's a personal preference.

Very nice truckstop. Good amount of parking for trucks at this smaller type facility. They have two showers and a very small tv room. They make fresh breakfast sandwiches which are delicious. As an added bonus there is a fantastic Mexican restaurant next door. There is also a cat scale on the premises.

Place wouldn't be a bad spot to shutdown if the lot wasn't littered with personal vehicles taking up a lot of trucker space. When I shutdown there almost all the trucks parked liked idiots and it could have easily fit another dozen trucks if they parked accordingly

Staff are friendly and helpful. Safe place to park overnight but as mentioned-too many inconsiderate drivers who use the lot like their driveway and park cars where trucks should park. This happens at all small truck stops . Good coffee and hot sandwiches. They have CAT scale, showers (if you ask they will look for a ticket that a driver did not use and let you use it-free shower). Have a small tv room ,free WiFI, and washer and dryers that are only $1.25 wash and $1.00 long dry. I like it because its relatively quiet and clean. Some times they are overwhelmed by travllers and thus its a bit messy, but I spend alot of time there in my semi and can say they get after any dirty things as soon as they have time. Mostly very clean in and out. Good place for truckers to spend weekend if need be. Easy in-out.
