One of the best experience during our tough time traveling across the great state of Alabama.We suffered a puncture on our spare tire during our journey and decided to stop by this location. The fixed our spare tire and made sure we were safe to continue our journey.This is one of the best Pep boys shop. The manager and tech here were very helpful. Thank you again.

Had a great experience here. We had a tire puncture that needed a quick turnaround. Kenny was absolutely helpful and was able to get us in/out in just 15min. Would definitely recommend this Pep boys.

Won't perform a rideshare inspection unless you bring your own printed form. I can't fathom a business that A. Can't print a form and B. Offers a service that is contingent on you bringing your own form for completion. I know it's like $10 so they probably don't care, but it's also essentially a way to monetize a courtesy inspection. Can't imagine they do a good job on anything else if they can't be bothered to print a form for $10.

I had the misfortune of a flat tire on my SUV on FRIDAY while in Birmingham for a conference but I was fortunate to find pep boys at Galleria Circle in Hoover. Service Manager Kenneth Cavinder and his Associate ,Blake were the consummate service professionals in servicing my needs .I recommend this location without reservation and although, i don't reside in the area, when i purchase new tires for my vehicle, I will return pepBoys #1584 in Hoover

getting hooked on a service they can't perform is not a good idea. before installing tires they must say that they cannot perform balancing or alignment. The person at the reception does not know that Amazon allows you to pay for the service. He had me there for 1 hour (being the only client) with a pc that needs to be updated. They couldn't find my tires that were there 3 days before and their intention was to recommend and sell me tires that they have there.they also broke a rear light. I do not recommend it at all.

The convenience provided by PepBoys being open on Sunday and allowing after hours drop off and pickup made it extremely easy to get a tire installed and back on the road in the middle of an extremely busy weekend!

I called this store because they had goid reviews. I work a lot and drive a lot so i need my car to be safe. Blake was very helpful. I called and he ordered the tires that I needed and the price was good. The problem is... I asked them to check to see if I needed an alignment. They said my alignment was fine. I took my car to Toyota the next day for an oil change and they said I needed an alignment. I asked my bf to check the alignment and it is indeed off. I specifically went to pep boys because they're open on Sundays. I work every other day. So now I will have to take more time to get my car right so I don't mess up the new tires I just bought.

I saw my car’s alert about the front left tire’s low air pressure at 6pm. Found two nails in the tire at 6:05pm. Called this place at 6:08pm, brought the car in 6:20pm. Both holes were fixed by 6:55pm and I could safely go back home. Sincerest thanks for the excellent service.

This could have been a five-star rating. On September 20th Blake quoted me $150 total for a tire. It was installed on September 21st and suddenly the price was $183. Got it knocked down to $165.07. When I went to get into my car, I noticed two obvious scrapes under the door handle. The cashier "didn't know how they got there." They weren't there when I drove in. I am very careful with the exterior of my vehicle and have touch-up paint for just that reason. The cashier knew that I was going on a trip and offered to touch it up when I returned. I did it myself when I went home but it still shows. A very disappointing service call. 😑

This Riverchase Galleria location has the most caring and friendly people ever. I had an issue that they could have totally dismissed. Instead, Ms. Rica and Kenny made it right. They are 1st class. Thanks to Blake, too. He's such a sweet and polite young man.They all made me feel like I mattered, they worked with me with scheduling and they handled a problem one of the former employees caused. Now THAT'S customer service.

The manager at this store was outstanding! I was driving down to Florida from Tennessee and had a tire that kept going low. I called ahead of time on my way into Birmingham and asked if they could squeeze me in. When I got there they said it would probably be an hour or two before they could get to my vehicle but when I explained I was really in a bind and trying to continue on my trip the manager said he himself would put my car on the rack and address the problem with the tire. He found the problem immediately and got me back on the road in no time. Thank you so much!

Kenny and Zach are are my saving grace tonight. They provided top notch, professional, and caring service for me and they never treated me like a silly woman who didn’t know anything. They didn’t even charge me for their time nor did they accept money to go above and beyond like they did. I will go back to Pep Boys at the Galleria the next time I need tires, a battery, whatever. I was out of town and I needed new brake pads and rotors. I was able to make appointment online at 10pm the night before. The next morning I received a text reminder and when I called the business, they already had my name and knew I was coming. The mechanic even gave me a ride to my hotel while he did the work and came back to pick me up! 😊😊😊😊what wonderful customer service by Kenny, the manager of the Pep Boys and Chuck was my mechanic— he was totally awesome. I highly recommend this location.

For years I had refused to use Pep Boys for any auto repairs, but now I am overwhelmed with appreciation that I took Ulrike up on her request that I give her team a chance. Chuck has handled the repairs on several of my vehicles and I strongly recommend them for any and all automotive services. Pricing has been competitive and service is outstanding!

Kenny and the gang were great. I had a 1pm appointment and they took my car back immediately. They communicated throughout the process, completed the work in a timely manner and were very courteous and professional. I usually take my car to a different location closer to my house, but do not get this level of great service. I will bring my car to the Galleria location in the future for my car repair/maintenance needs.

I called on a Wednesday and spoke with Rick who was super helpful and kind. I was offered a 10am appointment for the next day to have two tires installed. I get there the next day and they told me I wasn’t on the schedule, but to bear with them. They got it done in less than an hour and were very nice. Highly recommend this location.

Honest people.Refreshingly honest. I scheduled an appointment the night before to have a flat tire repaired. Upon checking in, I was informed that I needed the tire plugged and all they do is patch (which wouldn’t work in my case). He said the tire was much too good to be replaced (which they could do). He recommended that I shop around and find someone to plug the tire and save hundreds of dollars. He apologized for the company policies and wished me well. His advice worked and for $20 another shop had me going.Can’t vouch for their work, only their honesty.
