First time here and I was looking forward to it. The ordering was confusing and the girl at the register didn't really know how to explain it. The chicken salad was good but 1/3 of the spring mix was brown and no good. It was enough that the person making the salad should have seen it. The broccoli salad flavor was good but the broccoli was minced into tiny pieces. Will not be returning after this bad first experience.

Everything was great for the short time that I was there to place my order and take out meal. The atmosphere received a two star rating from me due to a big service dog in the restaurant. I fully understand the need of a service animal. I just don't like pets period and it's a real stomach upset when I see a dog in any restaurant. Sorry, that's just my opinion. Plus I know that service dogs are fully trained, I'm still very afraid of dogs due to being attacked by a dog before.

I love Chicken Salad Chick, but just ordered off Door Dash and there is no dressing for my salad and they gave me 5 packs of crackers for 3 scoops of chicken salad. They didn't staple the right receipt to the bag so that I can scan it for my rewards..Also, the Trussville and Homewood store always taste more fresh in my opinion.

Food was fine. Restaurant was way off on pick up time, could use a portion on the website stating peak times and that ordering online for pick up may take longer. For those of us on lunch breaks it would be helpful if our food wasn't 30 minutes late. Disorganized lobby and lots of stressed out people. Would eat again but likely not this location and definitely not over a lunch break.

Listen here family! That chicken salad was made by God himself lol! I’m talking about cut up the chicken and stirred it with the staff he gave Moses! This is the best chicken salad ever and I got some pretty good chicken salad. It was so good that I bought extras to take home and not share with my husband. The employees was great and they let me sample a variety of what they had on the menu. If you haven’t been I suggest you go try it!

Awesome lighter meals! Great place to avoid greasy heavy foods. Enjoy having such a better option. It is REALLY TASTY too!!! Never had a better chic salad with 12 varieties if you like it sweet, cheesy, spicy, buffalo, bbq or even lemon basil. Pemento cheese is also offered in single scoops to be eaten with crackers or you can choose a sandwich or opt for turkey club or BLT with your choice of chic salad. Sides are soups, mac n cheese, fruit and pasta or broccoli salad. Buttercream cookies are like a BETTER loft house cookie. Haven't had any complaints in the 8 or so times I have ordered. Even the dill pickle spears are delish!

Its good enough for guys to even like to eat here. I see some complaints, but when I came on a Sat at lunch time every thing went smooth, even changing my mind about a flavor after the order had been rung up. If you like chix salad then you need to eat here.

I had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad with the broccoli salad. Both were good. I was disappointed with the kids meals as they were processed. The PBJ sandwich was Uncrustables and the mac and cheese was definitely not freshly made.So a decent place for adults, not so much for kids.

This place is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants to visit. All the chicken salads are the best and that's coming from a person who rarely eats Southern food, but almost every time I've came into the store there has been someone smug at the cash register ruining this great experience. This place is really 5 stars, but some of the people placed at the front are quite arrogant, especially tonight. There are very nice people who work here. Unfortunately, I don't get to order from them instead.

Tonight was my second night and time ordering from here. My first time was great. However, tonight not as I was looking forward to. I came in to pick up my call in order before closing and there was a young woman helping another customer and once she was done she glanced at me standing in front of counter and turned away and then she began to eat. After, she walked off to where I couldn’t see her and got on her phone. You would have thought I was literally invisible. So I sat down and Thankfully another employee walked out of the kitchen and assisted me and I mentioned it to her and she said “Oh it’s ok, she’s new”. Like huh? I definitely understand being new, but I’m so confused on what that have to do with having common courtesy. Customer service comes with the job. The least she could have done was acknowledge me and go get help if she didn’t want to help, but to just act as if I’m not standing right there is wild.

Never been but looked at all the options a million times. My Mimi wanted to meet there and so I just picked what went with my mood.. a fruity Fran! I got a croissant and sweet tea. Came with crackers & a cookie. So since it was yummy and not overly priced, I’ll meet her there again sometime. I will add pics and update my review for y’all fellow foodies.. #mysunshines ☀️✌️ 💭

Quality, quantity & attention to detail have all noticeably suffered since one of our favorite local chains sold & became a national franchise. We both ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a bowl of potato soup & a grape salad side. My husband's order arrived minus the soup & complimentary cookie. When the soup arrived, he still received no spoon. The croissants had a minimal chicken salad...a thin, thin layer at best. Sad when one of your favorite lunch places is no longer a favorite & $$$ takes over. I have yet to see a small time business improve after being sold to a national chain.

We ordered online. Order was perfect, complete on time as stated. Great online website with nice variety. Easy and allowed pre-payment. Pick up and go.Food was outstanding and so fresh. Loved the soft frosted cookie included in Chick meal- nice touch. I missed out on trying the grape salad with brown sugar and pecans. Next time! Five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

UPDATE: I was contacted by a member of management after leaving this review and they sent me some gift cards for free chicken salad. I will raise my rating one star and give this location another chance.Original review; Normally I love chicken salad chick but after getting two pints of two different types of chicken salads yesterday I will never go back. (At least not to the Hoover location). I gave it a second star because in all fairness the chicken salad has always been good (at any other location i have been to) but my experience at this particular location was not good. In BOTH salads, the chicken was dry dry DRY and had a mouth feel of what I imagine chewing shredded cardboard or hay would be like, despite being drenched in Mayo. In addition, one of the salads was inedibly salty. The order was takeout so I was home before I tried to eat it. Had I been in the restaurant, I surely would have complained to the manager on duty and returned the salads, but I was not willing to make a special trip to return the salads. I will not be back to that location. It’s too bad, I really like chicken salad but I’m not a horse and I don’t eat hay.

I placed an online order, prepaid, walked past order line, my order was ready and waiting and out the door in less than a minute. My husband had the Dixie Chick sandwich. The bread was toasted perfectly and quite tasty. I had a scoop of jalapeno Holly with pasta salad, delicious! Great, fresh food, excellent service!

I’ve always had a great experience at this restaurant. They have so many different types of chicken salad, along with some pretty delicious side items. The staff is super friendly also. They also serve iced tea cakes for dessert if you eat in, and they remind me of the ones my grandmother made when I was a kid. This place is kid friendly, as long as your kid likes chicken salad.
