Wags 'N Whiskers is a wonderful place! Not only am I the Kennel Assistant Manager but I have boarded my two dogs here. They take very good care of my babies. Tank & Chloe got to have solo daycare time outside, lots of hugs & kisses from the family that I work with. Definitely will be boarding with them again! :)

Don't be distracted by the new and shiny in town. We have consistently had great care with both daycare and boarding at the place where everyone knows your dog's name and his quirks. Always willing to take him at the last minute if room is available, staff is consistent and not a bunch of turnover. You know the employees by name and they know you by face. Have recently changed jobs and drive 30 minutes out of the way two times a week even though a new place has opened up less than 4 minutes from my house. Put full confidence in them with my fur baby.

This place is wonderful!! We boarded our dogs here for a week. They were so sweet to my dogs. My dogs are, well, rascals and they did really well here. I can tell the staff took special care of them which takes a lot of stress off me when I have to travel. Reservations, pick up, drop off, were all very easy here! Jari and Laska will be back!Our dogs' behavior has definitely improved since we started bringing them here

Wags and Whiskers is great! My 3 dogs have loved staying there, attending the day program and being bathed and groomed before we pick them up. The staff really care about the pets they work with, whether they are privately owned or part of the rescue program. I really trust the owner and wouldn’t consider any other place for my 3 fur babies.

I LOVE this place and my pups do, too... They have boarded there no less than 20 times in the last year. The staff is awesome and treat my girls like their own. When I drop them off, they run to the staff like they live there and leave good and exhausted. Seriously, they sleep for a day and a half and are in such good mood when they get home. I'd recommend Wags 'N Whiskers to anyone who is looking for a quality kennel or daycare.

To be honest, I’m disappointed with my 1st and only grooming here. I was told my dog didn’t “act well” for her groomer, after informing them this was her very 1st time being groomed. When I got her home I realized he did such a poor job on clipping her hair around the rear end, as well as her ears were not cleaned like requested. A family member had a good experience here, but me, not so much. I won’t re-book, and regret giving a 20% tip before fully examining what was done.

We have a 1 year old husky/lab mix named Marty who has gigantic puppy energy. As my work schedule picked up there was a noticeable increase in his boredom behaviors, so we signed him up at Wags for a few days a week. We immediately noticed such a huge change in his demeanor and mood. Marty is more even-keeled at home and easier to train on our walks. He so clearly LOVES daycare and is so visibly over-the-moon excited when he realizes it's a daycare day.I have to give a special shoutout to his best friend at daycare, Emily!!! Marty, with his big energy, is a real handful at pickup as he is just so excited to be there and has trouble staying still. She is endlessly patient with him and even brings a treat to help get him a little calmer for the walk in. Despite him bouncing off the windows of my car, she stays cool as a cucumber with him and always tells me how much she loves him. It can be a little nerve-wracking to trust a place to take care of your sweet (and crazy) baby, but the care and obvious love that she shows to him at drop off and pick up tells me everything I need to know about the amazing care he gets there. Thank you Wags, and thank you Emily!

Really disappointing experience. I cannot speak to the grooming services as we never made it in the door, but the customer service is lacking. I was looking for a new groomer and was excited to be able to find a place with availability the next week. The fact this was the only place I contacted with immediate availability should have been a sign. I exchanged emails providing the needed documentation and confirming my appointment the week prior. I arrived around 9:30 and I was informed that was past their drop off and there were no exceptions. This would have been valuable information beforehand. I was then told that I did not have an appointment on the books and there was nothing that could be done.I did tell them I was a first timer and I had an email confirming my appointment that day which all meant nothing. They were clearly not interested in trying to resolve anything. If you are looking for a new groomer, keep looking.

Wags is absolutely a luxury experience - the owner cares deeply about your pets, and treats them as their own. Friendly and knowledgeable staff always take care of you and your pets. I cannot recommend Wags N Whiskers enough. If you need a place for your fur babies, pick Wags!

I traveled to the area from out of state and unexpectedly found myself needing to board my dog. My inquiry was answered promptly and my dog stayed for 4 nights. I was a bit nervous about leaving him in a new place after travel but he was very happy when I picked him up. I would not hesitate to use them again.

First time foster fail dog owner here. (Thanks pandemic) I’m pretty clueless. But the staff has been amazing. Started my baby at daycare and LOVE that I could see a picture of her or a short video on Snapchat. I quickly became THAT pet mom with daycare screenshots on her phone she sent to friends.The drop off and pickup is very quick and easy. When I realized I would need to board her last minute, I called and they were very accommodating. My baby seems happy and tired when she leaves there. And all too eager, in my opinion, to jump out of the car when we arrive. The owner is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean indoor daycare or place to board their pup.

Barkley absolutely loves going to Wags! I have always been very hesitant to board my boy but after seeing the way the staff loved on my baby during daycare I knew I picked the right place! Bark Bark always leaves tired and happy. The best part is you can even see videos and pictures of your fur baby on their Snapchat! The staff is extremely friendly and the drop off and pick up process is always smooth! Thank you Wags for loving Barkley!

Been coming here for about 2 years and initially things were great. Good cuts for reasonable price. In the last year things have really fallen off. The last 3 times I've been I either had to come back because instructions hadn't been followed the first time (including once when grooming wasn't done at all) or I end up having to try to fix things myself when I get home. Additionally the price has almost doubled. Would NOT recommend!

My 3 dogs absolutely love to see their groomer every time they visit. The people here are wonderful! All of them remember me and my babies when we come through the door and make us feel welcome. Their groomer does a wonderful job with them. My three are collie, spaniel, husky mixes, so they have a lot of fur. They get the furminator bath each time and a trim as needed and it has help TREMENDOUSLY with the shedding in between. I also leave them in the morning and pick them up after work, since their groomer needs all day to take care of all three. They are all taken great care of throughout the day. I can't say enough good things about this company and its employees.

My dog was there for a deshedding bath and nail clipping. He was there for 10 hours and was STILL wet when I picked him up, and was still shedding pretty bad. He seemed disheveled when I picked him up and had to pee so badly, almost like they didn't take him out. And they never called to notify me of his status, I only knew because I kept calling to ask when he'd be ready. The place seemed unorganized and unprofessional - it took a while to get him to my car after telling them who I was picking up and they brought me a different dog at first. The lady in the car next to me picking up was not too happy either with the outcome of the grooming and had some things to say... Giving two stars because he seemed clean and looked pretty, but it was definitely not worth the almost $70 I paid. Wish it worked out, but I won't be returning.

Took my dog Canary here from bath and grooming on 3 different occasions in 5 months. In that time she has developed a fear of having her nails trimmed because of their roughness. She has never had a problem with trimmings. This is now something I now have to deal with and can become a health concern for her. They also cut her leg in her last visit in addition to giving her a fear of trimming. They didn't inform me of her injury when I picked her up. 0/10 do not recommend this place. They are also rude and dismissive.

Wanted to give them business because they are local and so close to our house but will never give them another dollar. Our dogs had a terrible experience when we boarded them and it was 100% the fault of the staff. Owner had a terrible attitude and was extremely rude. I was shocked at how pretentious she was after admitting they had screwed up.Hate to give a Homewood business this kind of review but what was supposed to be a simple boarding experience turned into an absolute nightmare. Have heard from others that this is pretty common. Plenty of other options in the area that actually respect customers and their dogs.

It was a tough choice to decide that my furbaby needed somewhere to go when I was at work. First puppy in 12 years, and back then I was home full time, so we took the big step to leave her somewhere. So far I couldn't be happier. She seems more content at home and doesn't show all the anxiety that was breaking my heart when I was getting ready for work. They seem to know all the dogs on a personal level, and have remembered her by name every time we drop off or I call from day one.

Jill has groomed my Shih Tzu perfectly every time--she even gave her a Mohawk at my request this time. My Cricket does not allow just anybody to even touch, or let alone groom her face. Jill is so caring and trustworthy that Cricket has become less anxious with every groom. My animals are now excited to go to Daycare and see all their friends. I would not take my pups anywhere else. The staff truly love what they do, and you can tell everyday.We love Wags and appreciate their care so much.

There was tons of TLC for our geriatric German Shepherd and our nervous nipper Collie/Golden mix. The dogs were calm and well groomed when we picked them up. That's reassuring that they were treated well.

I just got a notification that a CRAZY PERSON gave Jill at Wag's a bad grooming review. I am here to RAVE about Wags and Jill and Merritt! I have a special needs dog. He has behavioral issues due to a mysterious and possibly terrible life before I adopted him. When I chose him I was lost. I'd never had a dog with behavioral issues. The staff at Wag's has saved our lives! After TWO YEARS OF WAG'S (Yes, they are that good) my sweet boy is a changed dog.I know that no one is perfect. That is life. But I know the staff of Wag's is doing 200% to make their customers happy. And as a hairstylist, if you go bonkers about your dog's hair instead of your dog's wellbeing, happiness and health? Then your priorities are seriously messed up.
