I made an appointment to bath my furbaby here. At this particular location, you only pay $16 for an hour during week. TWD, provides EVERYTHING you need. Just bring your pet. Customer service was amazing!! They are so sweet! And, will even give your furbaby a treat afterwards.

I love The Whole Dog Market, and so does my dog! The staff is so friendly and they recognize us when we come in. I love their selection of treats at an affordable price. I always get my dog a pig snout and ear when we go. Great store; I highly recommend taking your furry little friends there.

My mom and I brought my 9 month old golden retriever here to bathe him ourselves and we loved it! It was so easy with the nozzle and the shampoo was amazing. We can’t stop talking about how soft the dog is now! It was so easy to be able to close the door and let the dog shake all over the room and dry him off. I will definitely be back!

We have two dogs: one aging and another that’s 3 years old. So they have two really different set of needs. The staff at the Whole Dog Market have been so knowledgeable and considerate about how best to take care of both of our dog’s needs. We love taking our dogs there and know that they are healthier because of it. It also helps to know the owner is a local resident who has always gone above and beyond for us whenever we had questions. Their hours are really convenient and we love the delivery service!

I went into this store and the lady SEEMED so knowledgeable about natural dog food and what’s “best” for them. She highly recommended answers goat milk. Said that’s it’s THE BEST things for dogs. Constantly reassured me that it would help with my dogs shedding, energy, digestion, the whole 9. Well it gave my dog diarrhea and vomiting and she’s been sick for the past 5 days. I took the food back after the vet recommended I stop giving it to her immediately due to her reaction. Well both of the ladies that work in there said it was crazy that the vet recommended that I stop feeding it to her and vets know NOTHING about nutrition. I said In supposed to keep feeding her this EVEN THOUGH SHE IS CLEARLY SICK. She told me yes, her body is probably detoxing “all of the bad food” I’ve been giving her. My dog was very healthy prior to this. Never had any issues with food or anything. I took my dog to the ER Saturday night because she was still sick and there was blood in her stool. I told the lady at the dog store. And she says it’s probably something else because there’s just no way it can be the goat milk because it’s “so good for so many dogs.” Well here we are and my dog is now being hospitalized because of this goat milk. DO NOT buy answers pet food goat milk from here!!!!!! She was so adamant about the fact that veterinarians know nothing about nutrition. Meanwhile her advice landed my dog in the hospital.

They are always helpful and friendly. Good food options for my dogs but the very best is the service they provide.A few months ago we had an issue while using the self wash area(drainage) They moved us to the other station. They didn’t charge us for that (2 dogs) and gave us 2 cards for free self wash.You girls have a lifetime client.

The Whole Dog Market is a second home for my pup!The self-serve baths are fully stocked, and staff are eager to help. Plus, all of their treats are delicious, too!I recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog and wants to go somewhere they’re treated like one of the family.

Great local business to shop at rather than one of those big box corporations. I shop there for my cats- while cat products aren't center stage, they do have a great selection! The staff is great and I especially love the free samples they always have for my 6 babies. WONDERFUL PLACE!

Took our 2 dogs to their self wash set up. Booked 2 spots back-to-back & it was a charm. Both dogs a bit nervous at first but in no time a piece of cake. My back was so thankful. Will definitely be going back until they open up one in the Inverness - 280 area.

I went to The Whole Dog to get some food for my two senior dogs (a Frenchie and a mini poodle). I told them that I had always gotten Iams from the grocery store, but that I needed to get something with pumpkin in it for my Frenchie for added fiber. They were so knowledgeable and helpful! I went in lost not knowing what to look for, but I went home with the best food for my dogs and they LOVE IT!

I was here to get dog food as was travelling from Illinois to Florida and got stuck in Alabama due to hurricane Irma. Super friendly staff, great selection of my dogs food (Fromm) and a big table of treats for the doggies! Being a specialty store, I was pleasantly surprised when his food was the same price I pay online. They were even offering free dog washes to those people displaced by Irma. If I lived there, I would definitely make this my go to store for Bailey.

They carry the specialty dog food my dog needs for her Auto Immune condition and her allergies, Zignature Kangaroo. They also carry a great deal of other varieties of dog and cat food. You will find that all the foods here are 4 and 5 star foods also listed on the "Dog Food Advisor" website. Employees are great and check out is a breeze.

Better price than Hollywood feed (and local!) and no annoying frequent feeder club to keep track of (just give me the good price up front). Great place and always has my preferred food in stock. Good parking which is important given very convenient location in downtown homewood. Also feel good about supporting a well run local business.

I just adopted a new puppy. Since it's been forever and a day since I've had a pet, I wasn't familiar with the newest pet stores and what they have to offer. Along comes Yelp to the rescue! That's how I found this quaint little pet store in Homewood. The store is neatly organized and stocked with healthy, all/mostly natural food, treats and grooming products for your pet. It's like a mini Whole Foods, just for your pet! #winningMy furry diva, Roxie, and I were interested in the self-wash station. The two ladies who were working were super helpful and friendly. They gave me great tips to help my new puppy adjust to her new home, and gave her treats before and after her bath. They even gave us two little packets of treats to take with us!A cool perk to my experience was when I checked out their FB page. I saw that they give back to various animal-related groups and charities in the community. They often sponsor events at the store or in conjunction with other organizations. A company that gives to others will always get my business.5 stars for superb customer service, high quality products, community service and the self-washing station. Roxie and I will definitely be back soon!

I brought my pom in the other day for her monthly B-A-T-H and was immediately impressed with the selection of natural foods, locally made items and cleanliness of the self grooming area. The staff is welcoming and trully enjoy working there. My dog and I had a blast talking "dog", playing with toys and visiting. Rebecca is a sweet heart and FYI... she loves poms! 🐶
