My partner and I have always wanted to get a fish and when we saw one the bettas in the store that had been there too long, we had to get him. Lydia helped up out and gave us advice on what we would need to give him a good fighting chance since he wasn’t doing too well. A week later, he’s so happy in his new tank and absolutely thriving. An excellent pet supply store. They have larger sized frozen rats for those with big reptiles. My boa constrictor is always happy when I come back from this location.

Great prices. You can get a pet cage anywhere from $20 to $120. Depending on the type of pet you have. Extremely helpful.

While not as cheap as others I was happy to see better reptile care than most of the petstores around the areas. I’ve stopped going to two other petstore chains recently (petco and pet supermarket) due to terrible animal care and this one looks like a nice alternative to support instead

We go out of the way to visit the Homewood location just to visit Ms. Myra ❤️ !! She makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door, always smiling and happy to greet everyone! She makes sure her customers know and understand the rewards program and store policy on love it or return it and that makes such a difference especially when trying to find a product your pet will enjoy with so many different options out there! We always trust her advice because she takes the time to ask for feedback on the products so she can share that with other customers. If you're just shopping for a pet it's probably fine to run in the most convenient place and grab whatever you find on the shelf, but if you're looking for the best advice and recommendations backed by a satisfaction guarantee then you need to see Ms. Myra in Homewood! So happy we found her and Pet Supplies Plus.

Love this location. Everyone is super helpful every time we stop by. We especially like Corey, who you can tell really loves animals and is always super knowledgeable about the products. Our puppy loves his belly rubs! We also tried the self-serve wash and loved it.

I rescue strays and abused neglected pets often and this place not only always has what I need to nurse them back to health. The employees are a godsend. The first time I rescued a cat( allergic to cats , never had one, but these kittens mom had been killed and I had to do somthing) two employees spent almost 30 minutes helping me get everything I would need to bottle feed them but they also patiently answered my 50+ questions about how to care for the tiny fluff balls. Without those employees I doubt they would have made it to week 3 of life much less adulthood.

There was a young woman, her name started with an M. She was SO AWESOME! I told her I really wanted a bio active enclosure and she was giving me all these tips. She also talking to me about our pets when getting crickets for me! She gave really awesome customer service and it’s nice to see a pet store with staff that really care. :)

Very disappointed with my experience today. I lost my card for my dogs wash to which I had two more washes for her. I came in march and I was able to replace my card as well as get her washed. I’ve lost the card again and came in and this time it was a problem, the lady was rude and told me “that’s why we tell you don’t lose your card” I was never informed that when I bought the card especially being that someone was able to look up my account through my number and give me a new card I typically don’t lose stuff that has benefit. There was no one to try to help me with the situation she just stood there with a straight face so my money is down the drain and it’s really unfortunate because I shop here frequently and never left feeling like this

It’s hard to find good customer service these days, but I always leave Pet Supplies Plus smiling. I’m always greeted hello, thanked when leaving, asked if I need help finding something (by everyone), shown where things are (not just pointed), and they carry things to my car if I need assistance. The prices are good and they offer curbside. It seems like a good place to work because all of the employees are so happy and friendly. I like that it’s independently owned and operated - makes me feel like my money is staying more local than if I were to order off chewy or purchase at Target. Would highly recommend!

I went into Pet Suppliers to buy food for my cat but they didn't have his brand. I was directed to a pet clinic outside for the other things my cat needed. The staff were nice and I will return!!!!

Very disappointed with this location's self service dog wash room. Floors and all the stations were dirty. Also, I reported to management that ALL of the towels were folded nicely with pet hair ALL OVER THEM. So, Thank God I brought my own towel. Unfortunatly, my dog developed a red rash that had to be treated for days.However, the staff here was phenomenal. Very friendly and engaged with my dog.I've used the location in Huntsville alot and absolutely LOVED IT.

My go to for my cat food, litter and toys. All of the employees are helpful and go above and beyond. Also to mention, I witnessed a customer being rude and extremely difficult and the employee ringing them up at the register handled the situation with the upmost professionalism. A great place for all of your pets needs!

After purchasing the training collar, my 6yr can maintain control while walking our pit, Sam. Sam outweighs my daughter, so this collar allows her to lead, and not be pulled during our walks!

Everyone there is so nice and very helpful! I love that they send you coupons in the mail, and you can receive more discounts if you sign up for their rewards card. Also, I love that you can bring your pet into the store! My little pup loves going in and making new friends and getting to pick out her new toys! 😁
