The store is clean and organized… good prices… but that’s not why I’m writing this… Queen is the SWEETEST person I have ever run into. She was so incredibly kind to me and my daughter. I ended up hugging her before I left the store. This is the first time I’ve been in here but I will be back AS MUCH AS I CAN! Couldn’t ask for a better experience!!

customer service in Furniture was very helpful. it seemed as though they were redoing the store but, that man made sure that he took time out just to make sure that I was getting what I wanted.I hope they are adding more products because that was really the big thing for me.the whole store seemed really empty and the items seem to be in different places than where they would be usually.

Disappointed. I have a $5.00 coupon that expires on October 17th at 11:50 PM. The cashier didn't call the manager to override it. I called Big Lots from my car speak with the manager. I explained what happened and asked if employees are not allowed to contact the manager for issues. Second instance where the manager should have been called, but wasn't. This is the Homewood store on Green Springs. I asked that she cancel my purchase.

The Homewood Job Lot is like no other. The management team there 1as in most places after covid is stretched thin and overworked. This fact however does not interfere with this location going above and beyond for the customers examples are, stopping what they are doing to assist me with finding prices instead of telling me to just take it to the register like other stores, this is extremely important tome as I am usually short on time with 5 kids and also trying to stay within budget. 2. Reminding me about coupons I had totally forgotten about which ended up saving me $57.65 this visit. 3.When I got to the register and could find my account after 3 phone number searches still couldn't find my account instead of rushing me or telling me to call customer service or look online like other stores do they opened another register to help the customers behind me and continued the search until we found it. This store went above and beyond today to keep my business and they will be getting plenty of it. Thank you for your dedication to Big lots customers in Homewood

Had a great experience. Went in looking for Christmas decor. Items I wanted were on top shelf. James went about and beyond to help me locate all the items I needed. He also help front end when line was getting long by opening second register. Checked me out and held great convo. Will definitely be back.Greatest customer service experience Ive had in YEARS.

I asked two male employees for two very specific items. One guy told me the item I asked him about was out of stock. I believe him because I was doing some late gift shopping. The next employee I asked was stocking Christmas mugs. I asked him and showed him the item I wanted. He sent me on the other end of the store. I came back and asked was he sure it was in the area he sent me to. He said yes. This wasn't true. He stocked the very mug I was looking for on the next aisle before I came into the store.

James back in furniture department, along with the manager on duty, JC made our experience beyond pleasant. They helped us find what was needed, apply a few discounts, and even had great conversation with us. But above all, they did not try to overall us on any products in their store. Thank you both for an extremely pleasant experience. Will we be buying more furniture in the future.

Great deals on patio furniture. I was even a day early and an employee told me that they go on clearance the next day. He didnt have to do that and it saved me over $100. Outstanding customer service there! Most places the people wouldn't care enough to even know when it goes on sale, much less actually help the customer out by letting them know. 5 stars from me.

I enjoy going to Big lots whenever I need assistance to find an item management or the person at the register does not mind coming from behind the register or stop doing what they are doing to help you find what you're looking for very nice customer service

I love going Big Lots on greensprings here in Birmingham Alabama they have everything you need and a little more I always spend more money when I go in there customer service is excellent. From the managers to the cashiers.

It was multiple things that wasn’t in stock but I did find replacements. The store leader James Tenney was the most helpful person I have ever met and even though I became frustrated with trying to finds things and because of him I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Big Lot Home wood location with customer service representative James. We were there to look for outdoor furniture and he helped us to pick the right one . I will highly recommend this place to anyone. James customer service was excellent !!!

Great location and price but cluttered. It discouraged me from shopping more to see selections. The placement of items in front of store turned me away from curiousity I. Foods in front seemed out of place and should be somewhere elseI look to left when entering stores and what I see 1st determines if I'll spend time and money there. Staff are friendly.

The area in which this store is located is questionable. I did not feel safe here even with my 6’3” son escorting me. The prices seemed high for such outdated designs. We were shopping for towels and bathroom rugs. I would not recommend this store or the shopping area in which it is located.

Very rude furniture manager (Melissa). Was sent to this store from the Trussville location due to them not having the recliner i wanted in stock. Was assured I would get the same sale price at the Homewood store. Very poor customer service after driving out of my way for her to just tell me no she would not honor what I had already been told. Called the trussville store back, and Stan was very helpful and ordered the recliner for me at the sale price that was listed. I should have just been patient and stuck with the Trussville store to begin with as they provided a better experience and competent staff.

Clean, Well Stocked, & Courteous Staff!.....I Took My Elderly Friend Lady To Get A Queen Mattress Set. Very Nice Selection, But Out of Stock! Store & Vendor Do Not Have A Regular Schedule. Maybe Covid19, Related? They Were Not Able To Guarantee A Date On In-Stock or Delivery, 3wks Out As Needed. Next!! Smh.
