Had a fantastic experience at S&S Foods in Holly Pond! The store was spotlessly clean, and the deals were unbeatable. Every staff member was helpful, but Lane, the cashier, truly stood out. Not only did he replace a damaged chicken bag for us, but he also introduced us to the store’s rewards program. I’m usually skeptical about such programs, but this one genuinely offers great value. It’s rare to see such attentive customer service these days. Can’t wait to return to S&S Foods for more shopping. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality service and great deals!

For a small town grocery they have a nice selection, well stocked, fresh produce and quality meats. I've been there about 15 or 20 times and still have never had to wait in line for checkout.

Great store. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They treat you like family. Super friendly. Have called to ask if they carried an item and she took the phone with her to find out. Great prices and it save me a trip all the way to town to go to the dreaded Walmart. If you live close to Holly Pond, Alabama, stop here for your grocery needs. They also carry charcoal and to propane exchanges and sales.

The employees are great. The shelves are well stocked. They don't carry some brands or items that I normally buy but I can get most everything I need here. I would give 5 stars but I'm not real impressed with the meat. Beef products are not very good quality. The ribeye steaks and roasts have been tough no matter what we try with them.

The store is very nicely kept, and has very polite, helpful employee's.It would be appreciated if the prices were not so high compared to other places to shop.It's nice to have S & S foods convenient.However getting the feeling like you are being pinched for extra $$ when the items do not cost any extra somewhere else... instead they are much lower.It must really make it harder on the elderly that can't nor need to drive that far.A small town grocery store should feel like family and Happy to see it's family coming in to shop.It would honestly be nice if this comment made a difference.

The only place I get meat. The milk and eggs taste so much better than Walmart and there are specialty items I can’t find elsewhere. Fantastic icecream aisle. Great baby food aisle too. Good place to go if you grill including prepared veggies in produce. They are the only store I shop that doesn’t have empty aisles!

I shop here often due to living a mile away and I also love their homemade items. Everyone is usually very nice and helpful but the last several times I have been in the lady at the register has been rude and acts like it's an inconvenience. She literally sighed and snatched my receipt when I asked for it. Since it has happened so often I assume it's more than just a "bad" day attitude and will now shop elsewhere.

They employees at S&S is always friendly and helpful at Holly Pond. I had much rather go there,than Cleveland. Sorry,in the past employees wasn't very friendly there. I've been doing business with S&S for years now. There needs to be more caring people in the world. And they are at Holly Pond's S&S.

This store has a horrible selection. They never have anything that I need when I go up there. I told myself numerous times I was never going to go back. I've given it several other chances though and the most recent time I even called ahead to make sure they had what I needed. The person on the phone told me after I asked who make sure three times that for sure they had what I wanted. When I got there they did not have what I wanted fresh or frozen. So I wasted a 20 minute car ride my time and gas for absolutely nothing. Would not recommend just keep going till you get to a bigger better store. Also the prices are pretty atrocious on almost everything.

These guys have the best meat selection around ! And if you don't see what you want all ya gotta do is ask if it's do-able they will make it happen. I've had ground pork which is strangely very good battered and fried like cube steak, cubed chuck steak, cubed pork, huge slices of chicken breast cubed and recently I purchased some ground ribeye which I haven't tried yet but I'm certain its gonna be a homerun!

Expensive. If they only had hot lunches there like most stores where I came from and like Foodland in Arab, I would go there probably most every day though and buy other things while I was there for convenience.

Warehouse type food store located in Holy Pond. I go with a friend in a wheelchair. He likes to shop here. Especially likes the sales on meats and soft drinks. Overall he claims they have better prices here than other grocery stores.

I like S & S it's a good grocery store & it's just what Holly Pond really needed in this growing town. Thank Y'all so much for deciding to put a grocery store here in the little town of Holly Pond, it's where I grew up,went to school and graduated, moved away from, then moved back for about 7/8yrs and moved away from again........ I still use y'alls grocery store here at Holly Pond in Like I said Thank Y'all so much for putting a grocery store here in Holly Pond....

I'm very grateful to even HAVE a local grocery store here in Holly Pond, Alabama. Especially considering we're a town of WELL UNDER 1000 People, don't get me wrong.The people that work there go above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. But with that being said the only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to price and selection. Obviously being a small town grocery they don't have shelf space for everything a Public type store would have. But I was a bit surprised that being in such a rural community they are very lacking in fresh herbs (ONLY carry cilantro) and products. Was disappointing. And, for being a small, rurally located store their prices are exorbitant. If you're looking to stretch your food dollars I do not recommend a heavy shopping trip here
