Giving the benefit of a doubt , purchased some ground beef for tacos. Best by date was 7/28, purchased this on 7/15 and opened on 7/17. To say it was rancid is an understatement. I would be cautious of purchasing anything "fresh" or at least busting the seal on it before you leave so you can get a refund.

Isle were such a mess I could not navigate through the store or look at the products on the shelves. They had empty boxes all over one section in the floor. I will not go there anymore. It is a safety hazard just to go in.

They reopened with a knew store and they have some of the friendliest staff in all the stores I've been to thus far .

Not much to say it's Dollar General out in the country. Everybody in the stores usually polite and they have a good selection for not having to drive all the way into town.

They need updated. Bathrooms always dirty and smell bad. Aisles cluttered where you can't push a shopping cart around.
