The store is a little higher than some but they do offer specials, the quality and quantity of products is great. The store is very clean and has a calm atmosphere about it due to their fantastic employees attitudes! I mean they all can't seem to do enough to help make it a good experience for you and have genuine smiles. Oh and did I mention they have a great deli where you can pick out your meats from a huge collection ? I mean theirs even kinds you don't see in other delis at all..

ONCE again, today, 4-18-2024, the butchers at the Publix in Helena, AL do NOT know what ground chuck is. Supposed to be 80\20. This is 90% lean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did these guys learn to grind meat?!?! Butchers who do NOT know what ground chuck is....just amazing is all I can say. DO NOT buy ground chuck at this store.I purchased what was advertised as ground Chuck this past Saturday, 2-10-2024. Ground chuck is supposed to be an 80/20 ratio of meat to fat. Purchased 2 family packs. I should have paid better attention. On Sunday, I was going to cook cheeseburgers for my family. When I "got into the meat", I realized this WAS NOT ground Chuck due to almost zero fat in it. No time to take it back. The burgers were not bad but what I purchased was not ground chuck either. Do the butchers even know how to make ground chuck?

I don't come here too often, but the few times that I have come my experience in the floral department has been amazing. Shout out to Jonathan for the amazing customer service he provides. He always has a smile on his face. He is super nice and respectful and always goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with what they have purchased. It's really nice to find young people like him working with so much enthusiasm. Keep up the amazing work you do at this place, Jonathan.

Very nice clean and stuff I needed was easy to find. Which is great since there wasn't as much staff to help you if u needed to find anything. The deli need a bit of freshening their hot foods. Overall, it was a nice visit.

I get my lunch here a lot. You can get hot food or cold sandwiches. It's always good and stays with me the rest of the day, unlike fast food.

This store is great and when I can't find something at the bargain stores, I will find it at Publix. The employees are always friendly. The shelves are generally stocked. The store is always clean. The prices are usually higher than your bargain store, but you know what? It is worth it to get the kind of service you receive at this establishment. This cheese I purchased at Publix, I could not find at the bargain store.

The Publix in Helena is always super clean and the employees are super nice (at least the ones I have talked to), my only complaint is that it always seems like they are out of a few things on my list, the new Publix on the corner of south shades Crest and Morgan road is on point though🔥

Normally I have no problem with publix but today I ordered 8pcs wing they cooked them fresh. I noticed that the price was 6 dollars different I told the manager he took it back to the deli and brought back old dried out chicken wings. They had 4 breast and 4wing that's why the price was higher that's what they told him. I asked for 8pcs wing waited over 10min for them to be cooked fresh. The manager thought it was ok to bring me old dried out chicken that's been sitting out all morning. I am very disappointed in this service 😒 it really ruined my Sunday afternoon when I returned it for my money back I got attitude even after I showed them the food like I didn't deserve fresh food. I just asked for a full refund because "people" will never change their entitled behavior. Shame on you publix helena deli👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Aside from the Farmers Market and your own garden, Publix has the best produce in town. They have a huge selection and it's always so fresh and delicious. Their prices are a little higher but I don't mind paying more for better quality.

The staff members are always friendly and so helpful. And they have buy-one-get-one deals on the foods we love instead of on off brands. Also, their pharmacy folks are top notch and very knowledgeable!

Publix is great all across its region, but this one is always awesome! We love going in and just getting some cookies or some fruit and looking at the BOGOs sometimes. My 3 year old gets an apple or cookie and is excited as soon as he hears the word Publix. Thank you for being here and keeping Mr. George's vision going in Helena.

Usually better produce here than Walmart. Some of the employees are a lot nicer than Walmart. Great sales. They have the b1g1 and b2g1 and b2g2 deals which I absolutely love!! Makes the prices cheaper than Walmart!

Well organized and clean. I liked the selection available. I was in the area on business for 2 months. The staff would greet me on my visits. A cashier even remembered when I was leaving and gave me a hug to say goodbye. Where else does that happen?

Great store you have there.
