Nothing really wrong with this place - it is a truck stop after all. But we popped for $45 to stop overnight with our RV where it is electric hook up only (as advertised). Once parked and reality set in, it was disappointing to not have water hook up, no picnic table, no shade, and showers not included. And of course there is the constant bright overhead lighting and CONSTANT truck noise all night long. Considering all the above, the new RV parking that Love’s has been putting at many locations is only worth about half the money.

Wouldn’t recommend coming here, the staff is rude, store and shop side. Called in to get a tire and they told me they couldn’t sell me a tire over the counter. The loves in moody Alabama is the go to. Either moody Al or Waco ga. Will not ever be back at this loves. Ashley is the service advisor down at the shop, she hung up on me and told me me needing a tire was not her issue. I worked for loves for 3 years in the shop, never once was I ever told we couldn’t sell tires over the counter. They just want to make that 50 dollar mount dismount fee. Since Tom love died loves has been starving. And I see that coming from this store. Will be trying to get in contact with the dm. No other loves I have ever been to has these policies in place.

I admit it's difficult for me to give five stars but they came close. I choose loves travel stops often when I'm traveling because they're pretty consistent. Most of them have a little dog park area. If you're traveling with your pets. They usually have one of the better prices on gas. And they carry all the snacks and drinks that we could probably want. They're also usually connected with a trucking service with showers and such and a restaurant. Which restaurant it is seems to vary with the different areas. But they carry a lot of pre-made foods that could sustain you on your travels. Their bathrooms are pretty clean and greatly appreciated. Reason I didn't give five stars had more to do with there need to maybe walk the aisles and need enough. Just a little bit more. In fairness. They always stay very busy.

Just pulled in to Loves #818 in Heflin, Alabama. We are trying out the RV camping sites for the first time. An employee, Penny, checked us in. Our site had a bad ground on the electric post, so instead of having to move our 40 ft motorhome, Penny let us plug into the next post over. She then walked out into the hot afternoon to make sure we were good. Our experience has been extremely professional thanks to Penny.

This place has an overnight RV parking space. If you need a place to rest it's not a bad option. Keep in. Mind it's well lit and there is a lot of traffic in and out of the gas station. All the spots are back in.

Your basic Loves Travel Stop. Quick access and the area seems safe. They have yet to let me down with all my travel needs and see no reason to rank lower than 5 stars. (Repeat Customer)

If you park at Loves & for any number of reason are unable to move your truck off the lot, (ect.. Jump Start, Brakes Locked ) you are not allowed to call your own mechanic out to help. Loves will force you to ether pay there mechanics to do the work or ether call a tow truck. We had an air leak & was unable to release the brakes, so the truck would not move. The driver's first choice was obviously to go to the Loves shop to seek assistance but he was told it would be an 8 hour wait before they could even look at it. Loves would not allow my mechanic onto the lot to repair the air leak. This it left no other option but to ether wait 8 hours on a loves tech or to pay a tow truck to tow it across the street so my mechanic could make repair. The cost of a tow bill was double that of the the repair & took twice as long , but that was our only option to get the truck rolling in a timely manner. I would advise anyone to avoid the costly mistake of parking at this particular Loves Truck Stop.

The entire staff is rude and disrespectful with complete disregard for all patrons. Every worker was outside BLOCKING THE DOOR and SMOKING. 4ppl in front of one door and halfway in front of the other. The cashier was also hanging on the door, partially outside and BLOCKING THE DOOR. The one black man out there made sure not to move as I exited and if it wasn’t intentionally, it was def no effort made to be anything more than a loiterer. The bathrooms were filthy as well. Expect low quality service and standards when going to this location.

I have waited 6 1/2 hours and counting just to get a tire changed while sitting right next to the shop. Upon checking in I was told it would be 2 1/2 hours because I had 3 people ahead of me. I have visibly seen 3 trucks in and out of the bay over the course of about 4 hours. 1 other truck showed up and got a pigtail changed out. There is the service desk clerk and a mechanic just sitting around in the office.

This is a well-kept dog park at Love's Truck Stop! It is our 2nd time visiting, and I'm still impressed at how well-maintained it is aside from a few cigarette butts. We will continue to use this as a pit stop when traveling with our doggo.

The entire lady staff this morning was amazing and food wasn't disappointing either. The customer service was great even while a young lady was being trained. One of the best experiences I've ever had. My top 5 of place ove the USA

New Love's, really nice! The Bojangles closes at 10pm and I wouldn't go at 9- the food isn't really fresh then.But the Love's was nice and clean. Showers were available. Laundry available but $3 per machine- $6 total for ONE load.

Very clean and well organized inside of store. Shower was clean. We snagged a good parking spot by the dog park. Outside was tidy also. Friendly staff. Bojangles was fresh and tasty. Some creative parking going on in the evenings but wasn't too bad. I hope this Love's location stays 5 star worthy.

These people they don’t care about their jobs I’ve been literally waiting for a shower almost an hour and this truck stop is not even busy 9:45 PM but employees casually standing there and just talking about their lives. I’m right in their face just so they could go and clean the showers but they don’t even care just keep talking, it seems like the guy who is doing the most talking is the shift manager or something

This store and shop are nice and clean, however the showers have been down for more than a month and aren't expected to be up and running anytime soon! Really horrible news for otr truck drivers!
